  1. no - he filed for bankruptcy so his creditors would pay for his mistakes.
  2. Physically he is a "phenom", but mentally he is a midget - which will get JP killed when he misses line audibles and blocking assignments.
  3. You must be a democrat. Instead of constantly raising taxes, why not cut out all the inflated governmental expenditures? Start with the dupicative, multiple layers of government including the school systems. why do you 14 Buffalo common council seats, in addition to the County managers when the whole area will under the control of state boards? Erie County employs more workers than Cook County, home of Chicago - a slightly larger city than Buffalo. Cut the fat and politicians, not the beneficial programs
  4. you're also leaving out the latest OL project - Justin Bannan at OG.
  5. Peters will work exclusively at T. He has the physical tools, but he is a little short of gray matter. Time will tell if he can overcome his mental shortcomings
  6. give up the talk of cutting Teague. He was probably our most consistent OL last year and can plan LT. He is NOT going to be cut.
  7. If Willis didn't lose the weight at the end of last year, which typically happens to young players making the jumpt to the longer NFL season, he will never lose it easily. His biggest attribute is his power- losing the weight is not going to signicantly improve his speed -
  8. his ability to play C raises possibility that Teague goes to LT if they can't acquire any other replacement at LT.
  9. The point is that you would not have paid Drew $8.75 mil in 2004. A capable alternative would have given TD leverage to reduce Drew's bloated pay into the $3.5 mil range - which is more in line with his actual production. Not many teams would have been able to free up big money just before the season to bring in a brand new QB - so chances are Drew would have been forced to take the reduction or be cut.
  10. Griese put up better numbers than Drew in Denver, but had his alcohol induced falling out with Shanahan. I posted many times on this very topic. It was clear to most who watched Drew with an objective eye that he was done in 2003 and not worth his old contract, let alone an inflated new one for 2004. Griese would have given the Bills at least a viable back-up plan to Drew. However, it seems TD was intent on not providing any competition to Drew to avoid him losing all of his confidence. So instead of generating competition which would have put the best man on the field and forcign Drew to accept a salary cut matching his production, TD extends Drew, increases his pay and creates a dead cap problem.
  11. Brian Griese should have been signed last year and then Drew should have been forced to take a paycut before the season started - ala Lawyer Milloy.
  12. just wait until Jason Peters starts at LT to prove Teflon Tom is a master as finding diamonds.
  13. that's because he didn't use Drew's public relations guy.
  14. If Teague moves anywhere, it will be to LT, not RT
  15. he doesn't take the penalty - if he gets beat, he just lets his guy go and let's Pennington deal with the problem. but his
  16. maybe he wasn't good in Denver because he refused to use their inafamous cut blocking techniques.
  17. it's not a question of available space. It is a question of value for production from specific positions. Just because at this point in time, there is cap room - TD would be pretty short-sighted to sign someone else's high priced cast off when the expected production doesn't justify the cost. you can get comparable production at G for a lot less than $4 mil / year.
  18. maybe that's because he has first hand knowledge to access that those players weren't worth the money they wanted and got elsewhere. His only major blunder was overpaying Drew last year.
  19. just keep repeating - "it's not my fault" works for Drew
  20. no-teague is a natural LT with balance adn quick feete and MW is better suited for RT since he is strong and powerful, but not quick enough to handle speed rushers. Absolutely stupid to move them just to fit some pre-ordained salary configuration.
  21. so if Kobe is innocent and she would have to testify at a civil trial to collect the big money, why did Kobe settle and pay her off?
  22. Fletcher will not be signed to a big deal. Too old and too small for a long term big money deal. Look for Bills to draft a LB early as his future replacement.
  23. who have the Pats signed so far?
