  1. Will the Cardinals trade their pick to us now for cheap?
  2. I don’t think they have anything they could possibly offer. But I’m more bullish on Allen than even those on this board. I would offer them futures. Allen in 10 years for xyz assets. Haha that’s if I absolutely had to.
  3. I actually don’t think there is a price. Not for 10 years.
  4. Is Lamb available? I would take him over Aiyuk.
  5. Maybe I’m the only one but watching his highlights he doesn’t seem as fast as his 40. Legette looks faster than him. Does anybody else think his game speed is not as fast as his 40 time?
  6. When this happens you have to ask what they’re all so afraid of. Why do so many Chiefs fans come here instead of visa versa? What truths are they so desperate to shoot down? The answer is that they are terrified of what Allen COULD become if everything finally starts to go his way.
  7. With the cap creativity out there, I find it hard to believe. Especially with Tre opening $10M in June. And restructuring options we haven't used yet. And right after everyone said it was impossible that we trade Diggs.
  8. That's what the "cost control" people are missing. There's a reason why rookies are cost controlled. It's because half of them bust out of the league in 3 years, including top picks. They look at guys like Nacua and Jefferson and assume we can get one of those guys at #28 ("Beane BETTER hit on those picks or else he NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLESDFGNSFGDKJNSFDKGNDFSDFKSFMSWFW#$%@#%$#%$#"). But when was the last time we hit on an offensive pick like that on year 1? Even Kincaid didn't have as strong a rookie year as those guys. It's not common. Trade for a top young guy so we can still win the division this upcoming year, use next year's cap space for the contract, and draft a solid WR2/3 in late first or 2nd round for the future. That's the right move.
  9. I think that’s what the move would be. Aiyuk for a 2nd and then trade back #28 to the 2nd round and draft McConkey.
  10. None of the things you originally said are in there. Nobody disagrees that Allen has been criticized. They just rightfully called out the made up things you said. Nice sleight of hand though.
  11. I agree we need a good draft, but I also think getting rid of Diggs will be an addition by subtraction. We’ll surprise people this year.
  12. Pro sports at least have contracts. But college sports had a different charm. Kids growing over 4 years and seeing them go from freshman to big time junior and seniors. Now I don’t even know what to watch for. They’re about to ban court storming even.
  13. With players transferring every year and teams being unrecognizable every season, I no longer follow college basketball like I used to. But March Madness was once must watch TV in my life.
  14. Haha. Thanks for calling this out.
  15. I actually agree. He strikes me as a mid-level WR1 who wants to be paid like a top level WR1. More of a McLaurin or Ridley level receiver. Better than anything we have now, but still.
  16. He’s not that bad now. Watching him with the Ravens he would be a rich man’s Emmanuel Sanders circa 2021.
  17. He’s incredible but he’s 31. We need to think long term. 3-5 years at least. If we use up our picks and take on a huge contract it should be for someone younger like Jefferson or Aiyuk.
  18. Milano is 30 this year and recovering from a bad injury. LBs tend to start to decline, albeit slower than other positions, in years 8-10. I think Kincaid becomes a Hockenson level player, and not a Kelce level player. That’s great but not HOF impact like what you are suggesting. Simply put, unless Bernard takes another leap, the Bills need a Justin Jefferson or Marvin Harrison Jr to get that type of player in 2024/2025.
  19. Which aligns with around the time Diggs lost all patience. He knew his clock was ticking on winning a SB and he put himself before the team.
  20. Not totally true. Davis and Shakir are very good draft picks considering their round. Diggs was a home run trade. It’s really just a swing and a miss in Zay Jones, who has oddly carved out a nice career elsewhere and was before Beane. McCloud and Hodgins were late rounders with careers elsewhere. FA picks have been hit (Beasley, Brown, Sanders) or miss (Harry, Sherfield). So really, we haven’t seen Beane take a big swing yet except Diggs. Last time Beane had a desperate need he took Allen, so we should trust him here.
  21. He needs a SB as an important contributor. Otherwise, how is he better than Hines Ward or DeAndre Hopkins? Larry Fitzgerald? Maybe Andre Johnson level.
  22. He did want to win, but his clock was ticking. 2022 was an impossibly stressful year. We ran out of steam against the Bengals. Allen had the luxury of taking his time and recovering because he has 10 years of elite play left. Diggs didn’t. All understandable. The problem was that Diggs refused to go with the flow. He started creating enemies, becoming a distraction. It ended up hurting the team that needed him to be elite down the stretch. His ego didn’t want to admit he was now suddenly part of the problem. His MIND went from friend to foe. Then he doubled down this offseason. Away he went to Houston.
  23. Watching the video now from a different perspective, you can see Allen go from relaxed to a tense position with his arm when Diggs walks over.
  24. There’s a strange, hateful contingent of the fanbase that is always looking for a way to go after Beane. It’s almost like they resent him for his success and try to pick at anything they can.
