  1. insert Chris Kelsay. Denney is on the Texans.
  2. Kind of like this guy? Git R done buddy, i mean he did win a superbowl
  3. I think His tape is Decent but i don't think it compares to the talent in JR's video. I'm actually from Churchville and had the privelege to play Football with two Division 1 recruited RB's. Averin-08 and Kevin Collier-06 (Syracuse and Pitt). Being around HS football i watched a lot of their highlight tapes as well as other RB's coming out of HS. But out of all of them i didn't see anyone with lateral ability like Barry has. He is a special player and will do big things. Kevin actually had the Section 5 rushing record for a year before the kid from a lesser division broke it in 2006. something like 5300 yds?
  4. I agree with you. http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1012920.html
  5. first off it said 4.4 not 4.44, and just so you know he is only .03 seconds slower than our own coveted speedster CJ Spiller (4.37). Get your facts straight, 4.40 as a junior in HS is fast, but thats not why im praising him. its his lateral movement and ability to be at full speed in a couple steps. i understand its a highlight video and everyone has one but you need to look closer than just him scoring a TD run while watching. Top 10 official 40-yard dash times at this year’s combine 4.28: Jacoby Ford, WR, Clemson 4.34: Trindon Holliday, return specialist, Louisiana State 4.35: Jahvid Best, RB, California 4.37: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson 4.40: Dorin Dickerson, TE, Pittsburgh 4.41: Taylor Price, WR, Ohio 4:41: Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Southern Methodist 4.42: Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame 4.43: Brandon Banks, WR, Kansas State 4.43: Taylor Mays, S, Southern California 4.43: Ben Tate, RB, Auburn 4.43: Kyle Williams, WR, Arizona State http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/03/02/not-record-setting-but-mays-still-sets-db-pace/
  6. 4.4 slow? youre kidding me right? how can you call him a scrub did you even watch the film? not to mention he is a junior so chances are he will get faster. and the Gators? i said Alabama, the crimson tide. unless you know something about him i don't know.. You're certainly entitled to your opinion but i think its just ridiculous that youre calling him a scrub. The amount of control and balance this kid has of his body is amazing.
  7. Haha, Trent was running the spread eagle offense a lot last night.
  8. Did i mention he is a junior? another year left in HS before he goes to college, this kid is going to be wicked good
  9. I dont know if anyone else on here has seen Barry Sanders Jr but i felt inclined to share this years highlight video of him in high school for those who haven't. The kid has amazing lateral ability and its amazing to me how quickly he can get to full speed. Apparently he was just on a recruiting visit to Alabama. I for one am excited to see this kid in college and whether or not he can translate his raw skills into a heisman one day.
  10. A pro set consists of 2 WR's usually lined up on opposite sides, a TE on the line, a RB and a FB. Spread offense uses more WR's and is usually run out of the shotgun. typically 4 WR's. the idea with spread is they use a lot of seam and vertical routes to create holes. also with that many speed positions it "Spreads" out the defense in order to create gaps in coverages. Spread is run in the NFL quite a bit but if your in college and your are in a spread offense you could benefit from scheme alone rather than skill set. Generally speaking though, you need to have a good QB and WR's to run a spread in the NFL. Tom Brady is a good example, Peyton Manning as well.
  11. I use to go to brockport all the time for hockey, played tri-county growing up. i'm from churchville. I think this olivia use to work at the brockport diner if i remember correctly.
  12. Something like this?
  13. All i know is if puffy gets the team....
  14. There is difference between "constructive criticism" or difference of opinion and malicious intent. I'm sure JW didn't come to this expecting not to meet people who didn't agree with him. Its a shame that someone, especially one who has good inside information of the bills, is getting pushed out by someone who feels empowered behind the safety of their keyboard. I understand that its a message board and there are going to be those jerk-offs but when someone is personally attacking you whether its the internet or in person its not right and if he wants to stop contributing because of these people than more power to him. After awhile you get sick of the same people and its not even worth it. Unfortunately it sucks for us because the quality of this board will continue to decline if we keep losing posters like him.
  15. The thing is Poz has never become the player that we all wanted him to be, whether it was because of injury or that he just never possessed the talent to be a difference maker. I have not once seen Poz stick someone up, the ball carrier is usually able to fall forward after coming into contact with him. For a MLB, you want someone who is a great run stuffer, which Poz is not. He gets in on all the tackles but what MLB doesn't? most leading tacklers in the NFL are MLB. He won't ever be a cornerstone but the problem is this team has so much more to worry about other than MLB so thats why i say resign him. He is decent enough where he can contribute but he is not going to be making any big plays. Oh and Poz was not very good in covering the middle of the field during pass situations. I vividly remember plenty of times that the TE would run seam routes and he was always a couple steps too late to even have a chance on the ball. Serviceable for now.
  16. thats a pretty funny story, its nice to read something like this rather than some of the repetitive threads everyone argues about, it helps break up the monotony. Please share more stories if you have any from when you played.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxlKrdLl1XY as said as it is, Phil Collins - Can't stop loving you Terrible song but its "sad but true"
  18. I've never thought that the bills were going to leave based upon what was stated in the article. He is a hall of famer as well as many of the players from here. It would surprise me that after he passes his legacy would just disappear. i can't see that happening immediately to a HOF owner nor do i think the HOF 'ers from the bills will allow something like that. Jim Kelley has also made some encouraging comments about the Bills future and seems animate that they will stay in Buffalo
  19. It's nice to see someone step up in the locker room but he brings up the point that there is no veteran leadership in the locker room. its upsetting that a FA brought in during training camp is the one to step up and say something. we need a player like that who can inspire the team but there needs to be more ownership and pride.

  22. you do realize that scouts don't actually have the final say in draft picks right? They present their findings to the team.
  23. I think everyone is looking too far into this with all the shifting of these guys. In order to play OL in these league you need to be versatile so if a starter goes down, someone can step in. On sunday you can only dress a certain amount of OL, i think you can only have 2-3 OL backups. The staff is practicing these guys Wang, Urbrik, Howard at other positions so that should someone go down, they have the best and most versatile athlete come in and fill their shoes. I don't think it's because they want to move them across the line from position to position.
  24. It would have been nice to see a higher draft pick but something needed to happen, the backfield was too crowded. I wish marshawn all the best. Loved to watch him play and his on field antics.
  25. Jimmy Spags at it again.
