  1. Hey you, yeah you, the person who is about to read half of this and then complain about my assumptions and how long this is. Don't even read it bro just keep it moving. Its my time and I can do whatever I want with it. This is dumb but i'll play. 32 teams in the NFL how many of those teams want a possible franchise QB who helped take his team to the playoffs in his 2nd year in the NFL with no proven #1 receiver, no top 10 RB, no top 10 offensive line like Josh Allen did? Most people who actually know anything about football agree that he will either stay the same or get better. I haven't even really heard the worst of JA trolls say that he will be worse this year. My point here is that the more interest there is the more compensation there would be in a trade right? Teams that I think would either have no interest or couldn't justify going after JA based on their current QB situation: Chiefs (DUH- should have taken him when we had the chance? Probs but water under the bridge), Saints (JA could be a beast under Payton in that O but Brees plays two more then hangs it up), Seahawks, Ravens, Texans, Packers, Bucs, Eagles, Lions, 49ers, Cowboys(unless of course ...), Falcons, Panthers (maybe, except for recent big investment in Bridgewater), Titans, Colts, Vikings, Rams, Cards, Browns, Jets (won't go there now), Giants, Bengals, Broncos (ask again after the season), Dolphins, Chargers. In my head that leaves possible suitors as: Steelers, Jags, Raiders, Bears, Pats, Redskins. Teams want a mobile QB these days. JA happens to be the biggest and strongest of them all, and he owns a rocket launcher, and he has playoff experience, and hes run for more first downs and TDs than most of the best RBs in the league in the last two years. There would be no existing fair comparison for this trade that I can find, it would be pretty much unprecedented. Some comparisons to consider: 1. Tampa trades Young after his second year to the 49ers for a 2 and a 4 after he sat the bench for two years? (Side note #1: I forgot the Raiders traded Gruden to the Bucs for two 1s and two 2s. Looked crazy at the time but it worked out) 2. Cassell was traded from Pats to KC for a 2nd after one 11 win season. JA has had two decent seasons and a playoff appearance. (I cant lie though, seeing this throws a bit of a wrench in my two 1s theory I started with). 3. Chargers trade #1 overall to Falcons for #5 overall, a 3rd and a 5th to select Mike Vick #1 overall. I'm leaning towards Herschel Walker to the Vikings, but I think I HAVE to go with the Vick trade as my general value because the skeptics were saying almost the same things about Vick as they say about JA. The only risks involved that hurt JA's trade value are similar, big arm but inaccurate and not a traditional QB. (Side note #2: None of this has even a slight chance of ever happening.) To conclude my essay, i'm going with Steelers and Jags duking it out with the Pats and Raiders inquiring. I say Bills end up with Ben plus an early 2nd a 3 and a 3rd the following year, or Jags first second and a third next year, or David Carr a second a 5th and a second next year. Pats are out because I would simply die on the spot. In any of those scenarios, Josh wins at least 6 Superbowls ,ends up in a gold jacket, and we cry and suck for 20 more years. The End
  2. It will be that much sweeter when we come out of the draft with 3 or 4 guys who will contribute this year like we have every year recently. to me the real pressure is on the teams at the top. The Dolphins purged a lot of really good talent to get those picks. If they bust, especially early, they could be screwed for a really long time. I bet they are sweating bullets more than usual in South Florida. Things could get real interesting real quick.
  3. That was in response to a question about 2021. I wouldn't call Andre Roberts on this team a wider receiver. The only receiver he would be replacing this year is McKenzie and the statement was he hopefully could become a 2 the following year
  4. I like those players that your mentioned but I have a theory on the running back thing. Can you really take a running back before the 4th round? My thinking is Singletary could be really, really good. If you take a player in the third or higher everyone sees him as competition or equal and expects him to play. Singeltary develops into a tier one starter and the other guy plays 10-20 percent of the snaps. If that's the case it looks like a wasted pick. I'm thinking the Bills take a bruiser in the 5th to 7th with the expectation that hes strictly a short yardage guy and then bring in a rookie free agent or two to compete.
  5. I think CB is set short-term I'm in the Norman is going to ball out as our number two camp, and we have decent depth. The only way I go CB here is if the Bills feel they need leverage because of the massive contract Tre is about to ask for. I never saw the Panthers pay a CB when Beane was in Carolina but you almost have to keep Tre no matter what. If they don't go ER in the second to me it means they see Darryl Johnson taking a step which would be really cool he has a lot of size and potential and he can play special teams.
  6. A lot of people seem to agree with you. People were saying hes the latest baby Julio or whatever before the draft process now hes really losing popularity as a prospect. I guess he did not run well and has injury issues but he looks good on YouTube for sure. He has that it factor that makes me think his best ball may still be ahead of him. Diggs is the one and I'm giving Brown vet respect. I see Brown and Diggs on the outside and Laviska in the slot being a Beasley upgrade. You can call him a two or a strong three i guess. I see your point in needing to play more now and that's where I hesitate. He would be taking over the McKenzie role and he played quite a bit.
  7. You have a point there. i guess I'm thinking with him not playing full-time he has a chance to heal up and become the two or three the following year
  8. I'm seeing more mocks with Laviska Shenault sliding to the Bills pick in the second round. Interestingly, none of these mocks show us taking him. The last one I saw had Duggar going to Dallas at 51 and Chinn going to the Eagles at 53. Those are two players that the Bills reportedly did some due diligence on and who I also like a lot. The Bills then take Terrell Lewis at 54 and Shenault goes to NO at 55. I'm not feeling Lewis for some reason although I see the potential. Maybe its the injury history but its probably me being turned off by these tall lanky edge rush guys ever since the Maybin disaster. I take Shenault right here. I cut or trade Andre Roberts and save 1.5 mill in cap. Shenault becomes the kick returner and punt returner. He becomes the back up running back, gadget guy, and sweep guy he most likely bumps McKenzie and Duke Williams off of the roster and becomes our 4th receiver. I'm getting pretty excited about it the more I think about it. It gives us a great combination of youth and vets at the position which we know Beane and Coach would prefer. We also potentially have the best top 4 receivers in the league. Its doubtful that Laviska drops that far but not impossible. With the scenario above does any one else take Shenault there or are other positions too much of a priority and I'm just getting greedy?
  9. You could have made this same video or worse with any second year QB who has ever played in the NFL . The three biggest reasons that Josh gets so much slack are people who are to lazy to go watch the games go on Twitter and find a bandwagon to hop on just to join the convo, draft "experts" who are going to try to prove they were right about him all along (Josh ending up as top 2 QB in that class not only proves that they did a poor evaluation of Josh, they are also quickly looking pretty wrong about all of their other QB evaluations in that class as well), and last but not least, if you really need some attention for your article or post or whatever, all you have to do is piss Bills fans off by going after the city or one of our players and you will get more attention then you dreamed of. Its not going to stop anytime soon I just hope QB1 is out there lurking and just getting more and more fired up to be the best he can be.
  10. Its not even close to being too much. We got an absolute sure thing at wr on a good contract. Yes the draft is deep but no one who would be available even if we used all of the picks we traded to move up would be a sure thing in the NFL. Truth is these guys have a lot of time on their hands right now and getting Bills fans upset on the internet seems to be big business.
  11. Could be wrong but I bet Fitz will give his best effort for us if he gets the chance
  12. Lets start off this great day steaming over what some retired dude said when we are 5-1. We won games that we would have lost in the past we are young and getting better. If anything the NFL should be very afraid of what happens when our young QB brand new O line, receivers, and running backs get more experience together. This could get very interesting
  13. Cam Newton has long legs!!! WOW this is an amazing story. Joe Blow really shows Cam by NOT TAKING HIS MONEY!!!!!! I am gob smacked! i'm sooooo glad I logged on to the Internet today or I would have missed out on the biggest sports story of the weekend. When does training camp start again? Y'all are losing it
  14. I don't think it will happen because they already have big question marks at end with busted up Trent Murphy and yet to reach his potential Lawson. This guy deserves a chance and I hope he gets it.
  15. Ok some WR turned his mustache a different color and had something to say outside of what you would prefer to hear (gasp). The great news is most of us will ever have this problem because we won't be managing a team or playing for one in the NFL. The one interesting thing about this to me is just being able to see how offended people get when someone questions authority or does something outside of status quo. We were each born with the ability to choose our path and live with the consequences of those decisions which means we can be different or talk different or wear yellow mustaches if we want. Just get ready for the flock to try to drag you right back in or pay the consequences.
