  1. Yep, and it probably won't get any better.
  2. Marrone getting canned years too late. Now the Jags are going to be the latest team chasing after NE success with Pioli and McDaniels; only a matter of time before that fails, too.
  3. I'm rooting for the Pats to lose like I always do, but I can't see the Texans beating them. Houston is another team that comes up small in big games.
  4. Benching Murphy is the best thing you can do if you want to stop the run. He's terrible at rush D.
  5. That could work. Has to be someone bigger than a CB and I don't think we have an OLB after Milano that can cover or possibly spy Lamar.
  6. I'm thinking there is two LBs, Edmunds and Milano. Go with a nickel DB the entire game as a spy on Lamar.
  7. Murphy is a total liability against the run because he is undisciplined, he overcommits and does not maintain his gap. I doubt anyone can coach discipline into him which is why he should be a healthy scratch. I agree that Murphy will not be able to sack Lamar, though for multiple reasons. That is why I think Lorax might be a better option at edge. Jackson does a good job of seeing and picking his holes, both inside and outside. This is why I think there should be two spies on Lamar, one for each side.
  8. I think the Ravens game will be one where you bench Murphy and play Lorax at DE, if possible. Use a nickel DB rather than a third LB. Have Milano and the nickel DB spy Lamar, especially on the outside edges. Rely on Edmunds and the DTs to stop anything inside. I don't think taking their TE or Ingraham away exclusively will work; if you're going to take anyone away from Baltimore, it will have to be Lamar's rushing ability. Have to make him be a passer.
  9. I'm not too worried about PIT. They don't have a good option at QB, so they're not the high powered offense they were when Big Ben was playing. Their defense is good, but they're not going to shut anyone out.
  10. Different era, different rules
  11. There were some good kickers through history, but yeah, Tucker has to be mentioned with them. I have a hard time buying into GOAT any position because the game changes too much to compare eras.
  12. Tucker is so clutch. Probably the best kicker in the game right now.
  13. Lamar does a very good job of seeing and picking his holes with short yardage QB sneaks.
  14. This. They went with the wrong QB. Foles and Pederson is a good combination they were foolish to break up.
  15. We got absolutely destroyed that game; terrible offensive game plan and the defense was pounded against the run.
  16. The Eagles curb stomped us on the ground. We couldn't stop the run. Daboll decided it would be a good day to pass, even though it was very windy.
  17. I think Miami will be very good in a couple of years.
  18. Plus a nickel DB hopefully
  19. Because Jackson sells the fake very well. You need very good athletes to shadow Lamar, and yes, multiple athletes
  20. I think the later. We had no business losing to Cleveland
  21. Steelers offense is not very good. You'll either have Duck boy or Mason Rudolf at QB, neither is a great option at this point for Pitt.
  22. SF is fortunate there. If you stack the box, need to have someone on the outside
  23. I don't think we have either, which is most likely a result of Josh growing into the position and offensive scheme.
