  1. It is, but the Cowboys have name recognition and an outspoken GM/owner. They attract viewers and have a lot of fans.
  2. Here's a tough question: where would you rather coach - in Dallas for Jerruh or Washington for Dan Snyder? For a coaching candidate who hasn't been in the NFL for a while or at all, not a good choice to have.
  3. Jerruh thinks there is SB level talent on the team, so in his eyes I think it would be a coaching problem.
  4. Honestly, no, I don't recall either. SF and Seattle are really good this year, I don't see any NFCE team standing a chance against either.
  5. Whoever (Dallas or Philly) wins the NFCE, will be one and done. Seahawks or 49ers vs either NFCE team will be a massacre.
  6. We're going to have to get some good hits on Lamar, assuming our defense can contain him. I'm not sure we have the DE's to set the edge, save Shaq Lawson.
  7. The look on Jason Garrett's face says it all...he's coaching his last four games for the Cowboys.
  8. A mountain bike isn't built for speed, but for climbing and tougher terrain, so that is a different application. I'm guessing a "speed bike" as you put it, is an outdoor road bike. For example, my Trek road bike has 700c x 23mm tires, which are pretty skinny. RPM's are good, but inclines are better. It's similar to running, hills will get you into better shape than flats. You'll get the elevated heart rate in both environments, but inclines will really build your endurance and lung capacity.
  9. Absolutely. Eddie Murphy would have nailed that skit. I can just picture a classic SNL clip in my mind and probably shouldn't mention it here.
  10. In the mid Atlantic, sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on your tolerance to cold and the clothing you have. I can go until about 45 degrees on a road bike. On a mountain bike, a little lower. Obviously in snow and ice, not so much. It's not just speed, but more so inclines. IMO, mountain biking (even on smaller hills) is a better workout than road biking; at least I felt it more.
  11. Not a unique answer, but Josh Allen. I think he's the real deal and will be the face of the franchise we can be proud of for a long time. I like his toughness and physical skillset; he's what we want from a QB. I'm excited about the future of the team lead by Josh.
  12. I can see that point about having a child at home who shouldn't be left alone without a parent. I was primarily referring to the commercials where children were noticeably absent. IMO, the Pelotons seem too much like a status symbol, judging by the environment they're in, and a way of exercising for soft people. My mind would be changed if I see a Peloton commercial set in the 'hood.
  13. I haven't lived in Binghamton in years. I do remember going cross country skiing when it snowed enough years ago. I'm also a downhill skier and snowboarder; so anytime I can get outdoors I'm all for it. Why spend that kind of money for maybe four months of use? Get the real thing. So, yeah, maybe I'm that out of touch. Bad take in your opinion only.
  14. I don't understand the draw to a several thousand dollar Peloton bike, plus spin class subscription. Just get a real bike and ride outside like it should be done.
  15. The first Mayfield commercial at the Browns stadium where he and his fiancé were testing the Circuit breaker was ok, but after that it went downhill quickly. Also the NFL Free Phone football commercials are like nails on a chalkboard, absolutely annoying.
  16. Get fatter and even more out of shape? If he's anything like Marcel Dareus, Michael Pierce will mail it in. That kind of thing can be hard to predict, though a player's character can give a clue. Dareus had several off field issues, so the contract the Bills gave him was puzzling (team unfriendly) and they paid for it. If we can get a one-tech run stuffer that can get at the QB, the Bills should not pass on that.
  17. I wouldn't mind that. Our primary need is DE/edge, which I think that weakness will show on Sunday.
  18. Michael Pierce was always a Raven, never a Bill.
  19. What kind of happy horse s**t is this? Flutie sucks, so does Rob Johnson. And no, I'm not buying a box of Flutie Flakes.
  20. I don't think you'll have to worry about Frazier being a HC candidate this offseason. I'm sure enough owners and GMs around the NFL remember his tenure in Minnesota, which wasn't that great. I also have to believe that the defense's success is more a result of McD (who built it) than Frazier (who calls the plays.)
  21. Exactly. Doug Flutie and Rob Johnson were both on the starting end of a long string of terrible QBs. No better way to memorialize this than "Flutie Flakes"
  22. Ravens 35 Bills 20 I don't think we have the personnel to stop the Ravens right now.
  23. I wish we had a special teams coach that could pull off a fake punt. Instead we're lucky if we can account for blocking the other team's rushers during a punt.
  24. Brady is pretty much done and will retire a Patriot. He doesn't seem to enjoy football anymore.
  25. I can't believe the multiple suggestions to sit Brady. I can't wait until Brady retires and they have to live with the successor; there will be a small fraction of Patsie fans very quickly.
