You don't think he's a genuine person? I think the hurricane relief in Houston a couple of years ago was pretty selfless; he got the entire team to help give out supplies.
When the Bills get a lead, can't go to prevent defense. On offense, have to keep doing what got you the lead, not reverting to run, run, run, punt.
So yeah, being overly conservative will cost you the game.
Is JJ Watt's brace steel plate reinforced, like Gronk's was? If not, no worries. If so, I don't think JJ is the type of player that would hurt others with it.
McD is too conservative, especially when he has a lead. Prevent defense and going into a shell offensively are not recipes for victory over other "playoff caliber" teams. This is something that McD will have to realize and grow out of.
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I think "Championship Caliber" is just McD raising the bar for the team. I wouldn't read anything more into it other than that.
Agree. The Dolphins will be Buffalo's main competition for the AFCE very soon. Miami has a good GM and HC, they just need to hit on the majority of their wealth of picks. They have something like six in rounds 1-3.
I think the OP is reading too much into "Championship Caliber." It is just McD raising the bar now that they are "Playoff Caliber." It doesn't mean this team and coaches are "Championship Caliber" yet; I don't think they are at this point.
I assume "The Process" is what the OP is getting at here, which is supposed to be everyone (including coaches) improving. Through "The Process" you get to "Championship Caliber"; at least that is how I interpret all these McD platitudes.
Interesting. I have a different view. I think NE wins, but ends up losing in the Divisional round to Baltimore. I don't see NE coming back stronger next year; I actually do think this is the last year Brady plays for NE (and probably football) and the Pats don't have anyone lined up at QB to that would replace him. They'll be another average team next year.
Who ever would have thought Tannehill comes to the rescue, but for how long. Vrabel will most likely have a lot of time to think about it after Saturday.
