  1. I've heard speculation from various talking heads that Brady will go to the Chargers or 49ers. The Chargers I could see if he wants to play, yet not too concerned about SB aspirations. The 49ers I doubt, they'll stick with Jimmy G. Brady lives in the LA area. If Brady follows McDaniels, NYG is a possibility. But would the two of them want to go to an organization that beat them twice in the SB? Also, would the Giants want to sit Daniel Jones for a year or two? Not sure where else Brady would fit in off the top of my head.
  2. Needs: RB to compliment Singletary. OLB to replace Lorax WR1 taller than 6' Right OT, shift Ford to Guard DE/edge, re-sign Shaq, cut Murphy CB, Wallace is depth and Kevin Johnson should compete for his spot 1-tech DT, no sub 320 lb DTs -- they're not big enough to stop the run and push the guard and center back Coaching: A play caller on offense if Daboll is back. He simply cannot call offensive plays. I don't care if no one else has someone other than the OC calling plays. McD needs to reevaluate his game time coaching philosophy. Too conservative on offense and defense. Enough with the prevent and soft zone, you can't stop the opposing offense and win with a soft defense.
  3. Yes, sparingly. Hughes and Murphy got most of the rotation. I have no idea why Murphy was in more than Shaq, who was much better than Murphy all season long.
  4. Duke is worth keeping as a #3, along with McKenzie. Foster does nothing outside of special teams. It's looking like Ford is Beane's biggest draft miss at this point. Every team has them and they end up being costly, but it is compounded by moving UP for Ford.
  5. Good. Now Brady can retire on a losing note.
  6. Good point. Josh isn't the most accurate passer at this point in his career, and some instances are the receivers not getting much separation. Duke and to an extent, John Brown, don't do the best job of putting space between themselves and the defender.
  7. Don't underestimate Andy Reid's influence on McD. Reid is a conservative coach who can't make it past the Championship round, other than one occasion in Philly. He won't do it this year, either.
  8. Right. No slants, screens, or any type of quick passes that will negate poor pass blocking. The vast majority of our pass plays take way too long to develop. Also, maybe I'm not noticing it, but where is the check down for when a pass rusher busts through the line unblocked?
  9. Why Daboll didn't use him this year like NE uses Edelman is a mystery. Perfect slot receiver, also good with slants. Oddly enough, Daboll also used him on longer passes. It doesn't matter what type of receiver Beane brings to Buffalo, Daboll won't use him properly.
  10. The thing is pretty much every team's pass rush is better than our o-line. Our pass protection has been bad all season long and hasn't improved.
  11. Know what is sad? The run blocking is miles better than the pass blocking. Think about that. Not saying a lot about the o-line.
  12. Well for the past 8 weeks he wasn't there and this is a big stage. But I get your point...make the catch that you're on the field for and get ready for the next play and catch.
  13. I think Josh will be a franchise QB, and a good one. He needs to be smarter with the ball. He also needs better play calling and coaching that will let Josh be more natural rather than a pure pocket passer and game manager (Josh is neither at this point in his career) when they have a lead.
  14. But McD raised the bar from "Playoff Caliber" to "Championship Caliber." Problem is the coaches didn't approach the game that way after mid point in the second quarter.
  15. I agree, and going conservative with even a small lead is typical for McD. I'm not sure why he hasn't learned this yet, or more importantly, when he will. We can forget about "Championship Caliber" until McD keeps his foot on the gas pedal.
  16. Who is the current Don Shula that will announce the road to the SB will go through Buffalo next year?
  17. McD does need to reevaluate his defensive strategy and play calling on offense. That should be part of "The Process," right?
  18. Don't forget about soft zone/prevent D and getting minimal pressure on DeShaun Watson. Texans made the Bills pay for this; wonder if McD learns and changes his strategy.
  19. That might be Beane's glaring draft fail thus far
  20. That's why I said the execution sucked. Prevent should NEVER be called, it doesn't work to your advantage.
  21. The execution sucked, they were too far back. But yeah, the soft zone/prevent sucks. It prevents you from winning.
  22. Stupid defensive strategy - soft zone prevent D
  23. The offense stopped playing after the 1st quarter. They started off so well
