  1. So many to choose from, but I went with the 2015 MNF loss. The refs gave the Cheats that game; we got robbed.
  2. I thought the Mile High Salute was a little corny back in the late 90s, but it's tame compared to the skits being acted today. I tend not to pay attention to them, but they also give the cast of NFLN Good Morning Football something to talk about for a good portion of the show. Wonder how much time these players spend rehearsing them.
  3. Once again the defense won the game, while the offense did just enough not to throw it away. I'm not convinced that Dennison actually knows what he's doing. He's shown to be extremely stubborn and clueless. I suspect it was Dennison's idea to start Peterman agains SD and Tyrod was prepared to come in if the wheels fell off the experiment, which they did. If Dennison play calls not to lose next week, and gets cute with stupid gimmicks, it will be another long and embarrassing loss to NE. I have to believe that McDermott wants to score on offense, and find it hard to believe that 3 points is an acceptable cushion. It has been said that he wants to avoid turnovers, which is fine, but you can't coach scared and expect to win consistently. The offense has to score. Dennison just does a poor job game planning the opposing defense, and I have to believe McDermott has to see this...right? This needs to be fixed next week. On defense, the key to beating Brady is pressure up the middle; the blueprint to beating him is known, though teams inexplicably fail to do this. Hope Frazier is up to the task, otherwise NE will carve us up for 50 points. Good writeup.
  4. Dennison's blocking scheme, as well as offense in general, is the problem. The drop in production from last year in both Tyrod and Shady are concerning and noticeable; substitute Miller for Ducasse and the offensive line is the same. Yet, Dennison still seems to not acknowledge that allowing Tyrod to run play action and the OLine to man block, rather than zone block, would allow for greater production in both the passing and running game. He stubbornly won't cater his system for the personnel he has now. I have to question just how much hands on experience Dennison has architecting an offense and calling plays; it appears Kubiak and Mike Shanahan were the ones behind the past success this offensive scheme may have seen.
  5. Agree. But would Mike McCoy change the offense, including blocking scheme, back to what Anthony Lynn ran last year? Because that is how the passing and rushing attack would flourish. I don't know enough about McCoy to say what he would do if he was brought in at this point.
  6. Did he play today? Not sure what the deal is with him. I saw him momentarily after the game ended, but didn't see him on the field.
  7. It was insane for posters calling for him to be benched. He just needed to get his head straight after the missed catch against Carolina. Looks like he's on his way to being a solid WR2 and possibly pushing to be a WR1.
  8. I'm not convinced 9-7 gets it done. I can see Balt and Tenn get to 9-7 also, so we would have to rely on tie breakers.
  9. I agree with you, at least see how Glenn does at RT. But then again, he's a Buddy Nix guy who was extended by Whaley.
  10. I saw their safety got hurt, but didn't see anything about Brady. But that would be great if true.
  11. I don't think there was a victory that the defense didn't get. I'd go a step further and say that the offense cost us two games - Carolina and Cincy.
  12. Maybe. We need Baltimore and Tenn to lose. Both have easier schedules than us.
  13. Ok, a bit optimistic but I have to go with it. i think this is the only way we make the playoffs.
  14. Can't wait for next week since we'll see what kind of Buffalo team we have at this point in the season. Either we'll be pleasantly surprised or we'll get blown out.
  15. This has been Tyrod's problem all along, plus he holds the ball too long. But Dennison does nothing to play to Tyrod's strength as a mobile, athletic QB; instead Dennison tried to contain Tyrod in the pocket, as well as head scratching bad play calling. The result is an inept offense.
  16. Rex was lucky ALynn made him look somewhat competent with how he let Tyrod freestyle and a much better OLine blocking scheme. Until you looked at his defense, then he just looks like a buffoon.
  17. You'd still want him? I know Denver has more issues at QB than us, but they still have enough weapons on offense. I thought about this too, but I'm on the fence with Mike McCoy.
  18. Great Call! How are you feeling about the next couple of weeks?
  19. I think we can sweep MIA, split with NE and beat the Colts
  20. Dennison still needs to go. Only problem is who would be the OC and call the plays? Low bar, but still need someone (not Castillo)..maybe a HS coach since their season is over, lol.
  21. We need like 10 picks next week to win
  22. Agree with this, Dennison calls the offensive plays. I think McD just doesn't want a turnover. So Dennison craws into his shell.
  23. Just keep KC out of the end zone and we'll be fine
  24. Hope the Official Fire Dennison thread gets some activity this week
  25. Need to get a couple of 1st downs. Make KC burn their TOs
