The Bills and Dolphins battled for tops in the AFC East in the late 80's and most of the 90s. But the rise of the Patsies* and the 17 years of disparity has put an end to that. Now the rivalry, however futile, is agains NE and trying to unseat them. Maybe the Bills vs Dolphins rivalry will return; we'll see. But this is contingent on parity returning to the division.

He may or may not be available. If he is and we get him, that would be a big positive.

I realize this is a strong possibility since they both have the Andy Reid Philly connection. This is terrifying, and honestly doesn't speak well of McDermott's ability to make needed adjustments to his staff, crony or not.

I saw today on the Fox NFL pregame show, Jay Glazer suspects as many as 12-14 teams may make coaching changes. If anything near this number comes to fruition, there should be several to choose from. Let's see what happens on Black Monday.

Great post and Merry Christmas. Dennison seems to refuse to get what he can out of Tyrod. He hasn't modified his offense to take advantage of Tyrod's athleticism by allowing Tyrod out of the pocket and make more plays with his legs. I don't think Tyrod will ever see the field completely, read defenses, or trust the receiver or route, so you might as well let him do what he is comfortable doing and you probably would see more production from the offense. This doesn't register with Dennison. Tyrod was never a long term solution at QB, but only a bridge, but Dennison wants to burn the bridge and force his system; we're seeing the lackluster results. Then there is his blocking scheme and infatuation with Ducasse, which leads to poor OLine play. Tyrod most likely has one more game as a Bill, hopefully Dennison and Castillo follow suit.

I doubt Baltimore or the Chargers lose next week. Titans losing is likely. Had the Chargers lost, that would have been good.

IIRC, we were mathematically alive before the Dolphin game, but a long shot. We were in third place in the AFC East and didn't control our destiny. So a bit different than this year.

How ironic would it be if this comes back to bite Krafty Bob in the ass? Brady is forced to retire soon and Belichick ends up retiring if he views Kraft as a meddling owner. But at least they have Hoyer, lol.

Historically, this is the time of year when he starts playing his best football. Looks like it's no different so far.

The NFL should make Meathead remove that arm brace since he's proven it can be used as a weapon. I don't care if he breaks that arm again, it's career ending. Beating them in their house would be the best revenge. Otherwise, bodily harm is plan B.

It looks like our best chance is to win out. Otherwise we HOPE the Jets can beat the Chargers. I don't see the Raiders beating the Chargers at LA next week. I don't see Tennessee winning another game (Rams, then Jags), nor do I think the Ravens lose vs Cincy next week.

Maybe. Assuming the Chargers beat the Jets, that is true. If the Jets win, we want a Titans loss, which is likely anyway. It would be nice if Balt loses to Cincy, but I'm not holding my breath. I think Ravens get in.

Tennessee isn't going to beat the Rams, so that helps
