  1. I don't think the NFL really cared about that. They wanted Gronk playing vs Pittsburgh; they cared about that for ratings
  2. Everyone in the AFC East, Pittsburgh, Denver, Baltimore, and coming soon...Tennessee
  3. that was a dumb call, then he runs backward...
  4. I think this is what everyone is trying to say: normally this is the case, for every other team. The Pats seem to have a different set of rules and favorability applied to them. You have to admit, it is uncanny how they get marginal calls that go their way during critical times.
  5. Has it ever not cleared? It's like he has the refs on NE payroll.
  6. You've got to be kidding. Another BS call
  7. There's Tenn's D. Good series.
  8. unfortunately there's no 2009 Ravens or 2015 Broncos that are going to beat NE and keep them from the SB. Not at all convinced Pitt will beat them, if it comes to that.
  9. Not rigged, but a definite bias toward the Pats**
  10. nice catch. Tenn looking good so far, gotta keep it up
  11. I hate these pricks, hope the Titans can pull off a miracle.
  12. With Schwartz, you have Rex to thank for him leaving.
  13. Imagine that..your defense holds the opposing team to 10 points and you win the game
  14. Wow, dumb play to hang your playoff survival on.
  15. If we expect to be grinding out games, I'd want both lines upgraded. Those type games are won and lost in the trenches, and I feel we've lost too many battles on the lines. So to me, QB/OL/DL are primary concerns, then LB followed by WR then RB.
  16. I'm not against going after Cousins, as well as Alex Smith. How much is too much to pay for Cousins...$25M/yr, $30M/yr, etc? At those prices, he's overvalued, but FA QB's will be with the lack of good ones available. The problem I think we run into with Cousins is Denver will be competition and will further drive the price up.
  17. I agree, this approach makes sense. I doubt McD and the new OC will want to roll into next season with a rookie, even with one selected mid 1st round. Unfortunately, as you astutely pointed out, competition with teams like Cleveland will probably make getting a vet like Alex Smith more expensive than it should be.
  18. It could, depending on how KC values Shaq. The question is, what would they want for Alex Smith? I can't see anything more than a 3rd as being worth it.
  19. If McDermott offered Mike McCoy the OC position last off season, and McCoy turned it down, I don't blame McDermott for passing McCoy up this go around. Why go with someone who snubbed you when you have your pick of potentially better candidates. McD has his choice of potential OC's to choose from, who he possibly feels may be better suited for the position.
  20. This as well as squandering nearly all opportunities the defense gave Dennison's offense to score points and win games that they ended up losing. I suspect this may be the biggest factor in his firing.
  21. Agree. Besides QB, both lines are in need of attention; this includes coaching and blocking scheme for OLine. If we do nothing but get a QB(s) and fix both lines this offseason, I'll be content. Of course we need a RB2, WR, LB, CB depth, but I view those as secondary compared to QB and OLine and DLine.
  22. Patriots and Cowboys are probably my least favorite teams. Cowboys floundered this year, wish the Pats would do more of that.
