  1. The PI shouldn't have been called on the defense. Viking receiver held the defender then did a good acting job.
  2. N.O. not looking Saint like early on.
  3. Let's see who his position coaches are going to be. Time will tell regarding his offensive scheme and play calling. It can't be worse than Dennison...I hope.
  4. Tomlin will be around for at least another 5 years, he just signed an extension at the beginning of this season. I have family in Pittsburgh, who tell me Tomlin gets questioned in the local media.
  5. They're spoiled fans who don't really appreciate being in the playoffs. They think they're entitled...and I know several Steeler fans.
  6. All of this probably would not have been necessary if Pitt just picked up the 1st down on 4th and 1 earlier this half, rather than going for the big chunk.
  7. Tomlin just got extended at the beginning of this season, something around a 5 year extension. He'll stay past Big Ben
  8. I'll bet Tomlin will never win another SB. He's just not a smart coach.
  9. game over. On the NE. Hope Jax can pull it off.
  10. kick the FG and end it here
  11. Pitt needs a turn over here, though not likely. Jax will run it, kill the clock, and hit a long FB
  12. Wow. Now time for the low % on sides kick
  13. Fouts just mentioned that. Surprising when considering what Hackett did in Buffalo.
  14. I'm glad he's not. Still would rather have McD and Beane at the helm.
  15. I really hope not, at least not in the 2nd round.
  16. See above from the game day thread. There were a couple of phantom calls in the first half that probably took some wind out of Tennessee's sails. They're not a good enough team to recover from this and ended up getting blown out.
  17. No, I saw it but had to refresh my memory since it was 12 years ago. There are bad calls made by refs in SB's and not just that particular SB, but I don't think the NFL will favor a team in the SB. In the end, the Seahawks blew it. See this article: https://www.si.com/mmqb/2015/11/25/super-bowl-xl-seahawks-steelers-referees-blown-calls
  18. The Super Bowl games are fairly called. Too big of a stage for them not to be. The Falcons took their foot off the gas pedal and completely collapsed...offensively and defensively.
  19. This is entering the realm of completely disgusting
  20. I suspect a NE vs NO SB. NO takes that game, they're a complete team; NE's defense is efficient, but not impenetrable. A SB loss is more painful than not getting there, unfortunately we know this all too well.
  21. Titans are may be the worst team in the playoffs (JAX is pretty close), but at least call the game fair. If the Titans are going to lose by double digits, then the Pats shouldn't need the refs help, now do they?
  22. Two of them I don't mind, the rest can go away.
  23. They were jobbed on two key calls in the first half. One stopped a Titan drive (phantom PI call on Decker) and the other for a very questionable call claiming the Titans jumped off sides when NE was punting deep in their territory, which ended up giving them a 1st down.
  24. I see he's VP and focuses on contract review and litigation, but there was no mention of any Gillette Stadium contract. Not saying you're making things up, just that I haven't seen anything that specifically points to a possible conflict of interest. There are many refs who I'd wonder about conflict of interest based on calls made during Patriot games.
  25. I haven't seen anything about this doing Google searches. Ron Torbert is a lawyer in Michigan.
