  1. That last handoff to Fournette was too predictable. Pats D was expecting it.
  2. I'd just give him a hockey helmet and damp wash cloth and tell him to sit there and pretend it's feeding time.
  3. Buye didn't need that last push off. The coverage was excellent.
  4. No 'obviously' from Marrone on the quick interview. I'm disappointed
  5. If Gronk is placed into concussion protocol, that penalty was 100% worth it
  6. Love it. Keep the heat on Jax. Don't let up...at all. I don't care if you get ahead 28-3, keep driving.
  7. Agree, Hackett looks like a completely different play caller. That pass to Mercedes Lewis was a thing of beauty all around.
  8. Would you rather have Belichick and McDaniels, again? I'll go with Hackett and Marrone, not that I like it, but it is the lesser of two evils. Speaking of Hackett, he looks...good. I'm shocked.
  9. Jax's plan on defense should be to "accidentally" step on Brady's throwing hand. See how bad his hand really is.
  10. Kaepernick, at least he's done something and could potentially be serviceable. Manziel hasn't done a thing except generate a lot of hype and trash rented houses.
  11. Definitely a worthwhile trend. Hope more team's fan bases pick this up and run with it. $20, 30, or 50 donated by thousands of fans adds up and does a lot of good.
  12. Yeah it really was an accomplishment, though largely unappreciated by today's fans. Had the Bills won just one SB, they probably would be looked at in a better light. This feat will never be accomplished again, not with FA like there is today. The Dolphins always presented a problem in the late 80s thru early 90s. As much as I hated them back then, they had very good teams. Four straight with no wins vs five wins...tough one, but you may be right. It would have been nice to win at least one, though we probably should have won two of them.
  13. It would be two straight if they went this year. The 2015 Broncos won the SB in Feb, 2016, where they beat NE in Denver to win the AFC Championship. The 2014 Pats* beat the Seahawks in Feb, 2015.
  14. JAX vs MIN in the Super Bowl. Coughlin will be involved in coaching the D Line on how to rattle Brady. Their offense is probably good enough to score enough points to win. Philly vs Vikings will be a good game, but I think Minnesota pulls it out.
  15. How many instances do you know of where a player councils a coach and "takes them under his wing?" Normally it is the other way around. I applaud Ben for turning his life around; like you indicated, Ben was a punk.
  16. Wonder how much pressure Big Ben put on the Steeler's brass...it's either me or Haley. If you choose to keep Haley, I'll retire.
  17. I agree. The league, and most of the media, has swept the Pats* transgressions under the rug like it never even happened. I hope one day history looks back into the Patriots teams of the 2000s and is able to bring some things to light. I suspect the NFL knows, and to the extent, that spygate happened, but didn't want to deal with the mess and embarrassment it would case. So it just went away. As a football mind and great player, Belichick and Brady should go into the HOF, but I would like to see the tricks that the Pats* organization played come to light and multiple SB trophies have an asterisk attached to them.
  18. I didn't realize how old the initial news video was; this recent update isn't surprising. I can't fault the grandmother too much, I'd guess she's doing the best she can. I do fault the parents (no mention of them) since they seem absent. When the kid goes to school, no parental figure can do much about the other bad influences he comes in contact with throughout the school day. It's too bad that society, in general, has turned away from disciplining kids who badly need it.
  19. All that needs to happen now is for Belichick to quit/retire after they lose. Then that leaves just two - Marsha and Krafty Bob.
  20. That sounds like a response a lot of AFC East fans would give toward the Patriots. If the SB was Eagles vs Pats, Eagles all the way. Anyway, go Jags (at least this week).
  21. Further proof that Cousins' price will be way higher than his value. I think the Bills trade for an older vet like Alex Smith (or possibly Eli Manning), then draft a QB closer to their 21st spot; maybe they move up to around 15. I don't think they'll mortgage everything and trade up to top 5, not with the holes we need filled. It will be interesting what NYJ/Denver does, assuming one of them gets Cousins and the other does not. I don't think either would go after Eli Manning or Alex Smith since those teams are looking for a vet QB with several years left in the tank.
