Peterman's bad outing came under the tutelage of Rick Dennison, who most on this board (from what I have seen) do not want anywhere near this year's rookie QB. Why would he retrospectively done any better with Peterman if he can not be trusted with a new rookie QB?

There's a chance he may be gone, too. Daboll should have input in what position coaches he wants.

Admittedly, there is a lot of truth to this statement. I'm certainly not taking anything away from what McD, Beane, and the team accomplished this season, but they're a long way from being a finished product. McDermott and Beane said as much. I look forward to seeing what transpires this off season between FA and the draft. This is the most exciting time to be a Bills fan since...well, a long time.

Great post and well thought out/reasoned. History can't look back at this dynasty soon enough. But will there be enough evidence left? To the best of my knowledge, the NFL destroyed all the spygate evidence. It's amazing how many people just look past their cheating and disregard of the "spirit of the rule" (wide receiver not running the route vs Baltimore) and BS calls that always seem to go their way. Hope the Eagles can take care of business, though I'd feel much better about it if Cason Wentz was playing.

Quite possible. I suspect Gronk only got a one game suspension because the league wanted him to play against the Steelers; as you said, ratings. The NFL appears to be tone deaf and unaware of the Pats fatigue that exists among the larger fan base.

This is quite logical and may very well be right on the money. I'm not sure the league realizes how much it has snowballed and inflated NE's record, and possibly post season position, to something greater than it should be. In other words, the 80/20 calls have gifted the Pats wins that they probably shouldn't have.

I think the Eagles can win. Foles will need to have a similar game to what he had today, and the defense front four will need to pressure Brady. I'm optimistic that both can happen. Also, don't play zone defense. I don't know what Jax was thinking when they went into zone coverage when NE was driving to the end zone.

It seems that Deflategate was more about the cover up than the crime. Had Brady just come clean, little or anything would have been done.

There is no way having Darby, Dareus, and Sammy together for the entire season would have made that big of a difference.
