  1. The guys coming in are making less money, and playing under a new coaching regime (Could be good or bad, time will tell that though), playing with a new QB (Could be good or bad, again time will tell). What you don't do is keep a bunch of good losers making winners salary...I wanted Levitre, but not for that price. The only one on that list that I definitely would've kept is Nelson.
  2. The system says when one goes down another steps in and steps up
  3. So to get EJ and have CJ would be Dynamic!!!
  4. This kid was never going to be a star, but he was just starting to make plays and that's what we need. His price tag will be small and I'm with Stevie, I want him too!
  5. 5yrs/$35 mil...More money than Curtis Loftin...They can have that
  6. You can't turn a bad Starter into a good starter...A young guy would be a change and a fresh start...Maybe he will be good, maybe he won't, but why keep a guy when you know he sucks...That would make NO sense to me!!!
  7. This a an addition by subtraction deal.
  8. EJ Manuel (Don't care what anyone in here thinks) Pick 8 Tyler Bray later (Don't care what anyone in here thinks)
  9. He said that he will retire if he cannot stay with the Ravens
  10. I know he's on the wrong side of 30, but he is a baller, and the Cards Defense was still really good with him in it. For the right price, I would make a run at him, what do you guys think?
  11. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/articles/20130201san-francisco-ers-put-all-offensive-line-super-bowl.html 3 of the 5 49er starters were 1st rd picks...wrong team for you to use in your argument...go to the link and read it yourself
  12. Peyton is far more dependable in the regular season than the post season...(See all of his late game blunders to lose playoff games, and even a SB)...I would land him in that 7-10 Crap Shoot though... 13. My Top 10 right now 1. Tom Brady (Has not won the big one in a while, but not his fault. He never made the critical mistake to lose the big one. See Welker for that) 2. Aaron Rodgers 3. Drew Brees 4. Big Ben (I don't care if you don't like him as a person, he gets it done) 5. Flacco (Would have been in the SB the previous year, not his fault. See Lee Evans for that) 6. Eli (Finds his way to the Big one and balls out while he's there) 7-10. is a crap shoot...Cam, RG, Luck, Ryan, Kap 32. Fitzpatrick
  14. Center, RB, Safety, Kicker, Punter, Tackle, and TE if we just grab a FA
  15. Thanks JPS, I think loading up on picks is a very smart thing to do most years, you can take chances on guys when you have extra picks. Guys like Burfict last year...Look at how that worked out for the Bengals... Hunter was coming off a knee injury which is why he wasn't on the radar early on, but the kid is ope when he's not open like Buddy said.
  16. Collins is raw, but he is an athletic freak and could fit well in a blitz heavy scheme like Pettine is known to run. Thanks for your feed back...I like like KW, but he has bad feet, and may not fit the new scheme, I would tak a 5th rd pick for him, if he is not gonna fit in.
  17. VY is not Warrenn Moon or Jim Kelly, but he has a better record than Fitz in this league and would make a lot less money than what Fitz is getting...Starter money + 3rd string talent= Franchise crippler!
  18. I would not over pay for any of them...I am from Virginia, and I remember Glennon from High school...He is not worth that pick at all bro. If we could Sign Byrd before Levitre walks, then I would definately Franchise Him...The I would Draft Either Ogletree at 8 or Dion Jordan
  19. Deion Said there is no way he is there in the 4th RD because there are a few teams who love him...I could see the Bengals or Cowboys taking him in the 2nd...
  20. I know some of you won't agree with my line of thinking, but this is my opinion... 1.First off, I am getting rid of Fitz. If I can get a 6th rd pick for him, I do that. If not, I flat out cut him. 2.Second, With the way Byrd Makes plays, I pay him like a TOP Safety in this league No matter what. 3.Make my best effort to keep Levitre, unless he just does not want to be a bill. and hill take less money elsewhere. Then I try a sign and trade before I just let him walk. I figure out if he will help us help him get to where he does want to be and I honor his request and get myself at least a 2nd rd pick. out of this, early 3rd at the worst. 4.Cut Kelsay, too rich for my blood 5.Based on the way that Carrington came along last year, and with his freakish body type adding a huge upside...I trade Kyle Williams, He's on the wrong side of 30 and I would take a 3rd this year and a first next year or vice versa...I like Kyle, but he is limited in what he does. 6.Bring back Merriman to play a role in Pettines Defense, he has Attitude, and he loves Buffalo. 7.Bring in a veteran QB like VY... He made plays last preseason and I don't care if he didn't know the whole playbook. He mad more plays than Fitz with the limited amount of plays he did know...And he would come a whole lot Cheaper. 8.Get one of these FA wideouts. Jennings for the right price, Collie if he can pass the physical, Mike Wallace, Dwayne Bowe or somebody...maybe Jumping Jerome Simpson. 9.Sign Chris Cooley or Fred Davis, or maybe even Dallas Clark. 10.Sign Rey Malaluaga or however you spell it 11.Sign Laron Landry 12.Now to the draft...If Geno is there at 8, Take him, but I don't think he will be, So I try to trade back, If there are no suitors for that spot, I draft LT Eric Fisher and slide either Glenn or Hairston to Levitres spot, be cause we made a sign and trade happen. 13.Rd2 Justin Hunter WR-Tennessee 14.RD2 from the Levitre trade CB Desmond Trufant-Washington 15.Rd 3 QB EJ manuel-FSU 16.RD 3 from Kyle Williams trade WR Connor Vernon-Duke 17.Rd 4 Jamie Collins-Southern Miss. 18...I have nothing else from here, just find guys who love the game and would give a kidney to play in this league...
  21. great hands... take him rds 4-7
  22. I do agree that he is explosive, but that was mostly ST highlights...With the number 8 pick we need a Green or Julio type guy, not a Devin Hester type guy...But maybe playing on the other side of SJ with CJ getting attention in the backfield, he can get alot of opportunity to make plays. Time will tell what we do!
  23. We will draft a WR...Welker will go to the Panthers or the Rams
  24. Byrd is a BALLHAWK!!! Int's and forced fumbles. These guys are rare and you have to keep them when you find one, I mean that would be like finding that big time receiver and then letting him walk even though he is a game changer. Not smart business. Keep Byrd, talk to Landry and see what type of deal could maybe be worked out on a more incentive based deal. If we can't get him, oh well put Searcy back there and convert A. Williams to Safety and we will be fine. Use some of that money that we will have from not signing Landry, and Levitre walking away and pursue some of these WR's that are set be available soon.
