  1. I see what you're doing Darth Sideus. Well played.
  2. I'll save GG time. Those articles don't support the statement that she was in Iraq and Pakistan. Even worse one source contradicts her Pakistani involvement.
  3. Not the same thing in that one was a failure of intelligence and one was a failure of data security. The same thing in that both were massive failures. Why is no one in the federal government ever accountable?
  4. Like the massive Bush intelligence failures that lead us into the Iraq war, I won't hold my breath waiting to see who gets fired over this. Only in the US government do you have catastrophic failures where no one loses their job. Amazing.
  5. Don't expect me to launch a spirited defense of Evans. He's fine for now but when it comes time to pay Johnson, Evans is OUT. Give me the young guy with flashes of brilliance over the guy who hasn't had a brilliant flash in years. I regret my word choice in saying he's replaceable. Johnson is way too good to let go at this point but I am still skeptical about how much is him and how much is Fitz.
  6. Who knows? But you'd be hard-pressed to find a QB doing more with less than Fitz right now. Imagine if there was a monster RT on this team. Imagine if there was another stud guard to go with Levitre. Imagine if there was a WR to go with Johnson, who's clearly the #1 at this point. Imagine him with a TE that could both block a little and catch. Adding good (not great) RT, OG, TE, and medium-good WR is not that hard of a task in a single off-season. The LT, as you've pointed out, is at least passable and that's a hard position to fill. The RBs seems fine and maybe Spiller will evolve into the player Jackson is--if he doesn't, he's still a nice weapon to have. I believe in this offense for next year. On defense...even that's looking up. The D-line is not good but they are nowhere near as bad as the linebackers. Luckily, LBs are not as hard to grab in a draft. I could handle heading into next year with a top LB rookie and some good (not great) free agent LBs and maybe a couple cast-off DEs. I look at this team as suddenly closer to the playoffs than I thought possible. Rather than drafting another luxury (QB this year...RBs and DBs in years past), can we draft a need position for once? The Bills will pick #3 or 4 which means only Mallett will be there and ranked that high. I can't see that being worth it. Rookie QBs play like crap or take years to develop. I'd much prefer an impact LB or DE(if one is out there). I wouldn't even care if they traded down a little if they got really good value because the draft is a crapshoot and I'd rather have more picks than less.
  7. What kind of bet is that? If he doesn't make it now, he's flushed himself down a toilet.
  8. Before last week, it was that Fitz isn't good enough and we need to draft a QB because he has one more incompletion per game than Ben R.
  9. Straight into the wind that was blowing the ball off the tee.
  10. BillyBob, I'm not sure which leaker you'd like outrage addressed at. The one who leaked or the publisher. The leaker is a grade A loser but he's been under arrest for a long time. The publisher of this **** is pretty much a similar loser. If we're learning anything from Wikileaks, it's a lesson that you'd think everyone should already know. Don't put it in writing unless you want it to be found. It's time to think up some new ways to communicate messages. I always liked the melting paper towel dispenser in Get Smart.
  11. If true (it's possible) then it was either light-hearted fun with the fans right after the loss and I say "Screw you" or it is serious anger at the fans and I say "Screw you." STFU and get to work funny boy.
  12. Tell that to Trent Edwards. I credit Fitz as being the perfect compliment to Gailey. But remember, under Edwards, Steve Johnson had 6 catches for 70 yards in 2 games.
  13. So the line got great, Roscoe became a "go to" WR, Steve Johnson broke out, and Donald Jones is a player...all at the same time just by coincidence? To credit Johnson too much would be a huge mistake. All of these players emerged once Fitz became the starter. You want 80/20? Sure. The point is that Steve Johnson+average QB=unremarkable.
  14. I fully believe Fitz helps the O-line recognize what is coming and that's why they are so much better in protection than pre- Fitz. People who think any rookie QB could do what Fitz is doing is on crack. Chan and Fitz are an amazing combination. Fitz needs to be the QB of the future. He's made the O-line, Roscoe Parrish, Steve Johnson, and Donald Jones look good for crying out loud.
  15. At this point, they are inconsistently good...which is a massive improvement. The biggest change in this team compared to Bills teams for the last decade: They believe they can win. A Jauron/Losman/Edwards team after that abominable 1st half would have folded up and lost by 39. This team is completely different. Johnson is the epitome of inconsistency. He's fantastic and terrible at once. He's young but replaceable. I credit his emergence as 90% Fitzpatrick, 10% Johnson.
  16. Wah. I support him but I'm a fan and I can say that is the single worst performance I've ever seen. Given that TO lead the NFL twice with 10 drops, it is conceivable that Johnson's 7 drop performance--two game winning style--is the worst performance by a WR in NFL history. Now get over it. Stop playing around with your sharpie. And stop believing you're "the man" just because your QB is good.
  17. And if Johnson has 3 less drops, fitz throws for 350 yards. One of those "sure" drops was at a guys ankles so it was not sure. And the INT was 100% on Johnson.
  18. What 7 drops show me is that Fitz is a GREAT QB who is making this offense productive despite its lack of talent. Anyone clamoring for a new QB should be shot.
  19. TO had some terrible 10 drop seasons and is regarded as a dropper.
  20. The ref said they called for the review before the spike play. He actually said it on the mike to explain what happened.
  21. Guess what: When one guy singlehandedly loses a game, fans get mad. No one is asking for him to be cut. No one is giving up on him. But he's the goat. That's all there is to it. You can asy they lost as a team but they didn't. He dropped the big pass in OT and another at the 2 that lead to the INT. Both could have won the game. Oh, and 5 other drops too. People are mad. At him. There is nothing wrong with it. He earned it.
  22. You mean the other Johnson drop? Yeah. That one sucked too.
  23. THis loss is nothing. The Bills played well against a very good team and keep showing they are ready to be a playoff team. But they absolutely need to learn to win. Fitz did his part to get the win. The O-line was amazing in pass protection today. The D played VERY well. Johnson sucked moose dick. Hopefully it's just from a bad week of practice or something.
  24. I'm no Evans fan but his drop was a hard catch with one defender on and another about to drill him. I'd kill him over the fumble but to his credit, he recovered a huge Jackson fumble later.
  25. Nope. The credited him with 6 but there were 7 drops. They didn't give him a drop on that because it was intercepted. Remember that on that catch if not dropped, the Bills would have had the ball at about the 2 late in the 4th down 3. Why so serious? How about you get serious.
