  1. I'm not sure what the count is but he's done next week sometime.
  2. I bet Bill would be willing to say that Bell has been a pleasant surprise this year but he still has holes in his game, especially when it comes to run-blocking where the ability to drive forward and show off strength matters most.
  3. It's nice to see 2-3 of the top Bills busts on the same squad all at once although I still hope Maybin hits the 'roids and fixes his problem.
  4. "Why so serious" is not my style but I could live with it. The problem with "Why so serious" is that the Bills were down 14 when he did it. That makes it more about him than the team. And his 7 drops (4 credited, which is a joke) from last week, I can also chalk up to immaturity. That leaves me with one thought on Stevie Johnson: Grow up.
  5. Apple does R rated. Howard is R rated.
  6. Trent Edwards looked like Joe Montana in pre-season. Want him back? I'm not picking on Spiller. I am picking on the organization for picking him when they had 2 good RBs and no line.
  7. Said in another thread. Great idea...spend more money and cut taxes. With solutions like these, I wonder how we got into trouble with the debt.
  8. Because we should not have secrets dude.
  9. Running backs are a dime a a dozen unless they are the rarest of rare talents. And they have the shortest careers of any NFL position. I want Spiller to be Reggie Bush and I am more optimistic than you but we agree 100% on this point: He was a luxury pick. Basically, the Bills are a 4 story roach invested walk-up with a 56" flat screen TV. Stupid pick. The slide was late and Donte was going to make some contact. Where he went wrong is that Donte followed Jackson to the ground aiming his shoulder into him instead of just falling on top of him. It was a dumb play and he did it being aggressive instead of using his brain. In the grand scheme of yesterday, it didn't matter but it was stupid.
  10. Yeah but this is the path to world peace. /joesixpack
  11. I could see the entire catalog for sale ala carte and new shows available for sale as well. Apple has the dough rae me that Sirius lacks. Howard TV (which I could give 2 ***** about) also be a nice tie in for the failing Apple TV product. Howard didn't deny the talks when it came up this morning. He just read the story and said he's got things in the works. http://www.tmrzoo.com/2010/17561
  12. Bill, spot on this week. Unless some incredible treasure like Luck is there for the Bills, I hope they trade down. They need so much help that a later first and maybe a high second would help more than just a #3 pick. They could potentially grab the best DE or LB, and a couple top tackles. What the Bills need is trench guys and LBs. It's possible to snag 3 starters out of this draft.
  13. That was not a drop. That was all on Bell--when the QB has the ball loaded up like that for the bomb, the ball is easy to knock out if the DE is right there.
  14. I guess the penalty there was because the ball was OB but still, how does he know that?
  15. Yes, but Whitner followed him down as he slid and aimed his shoulder into JAckson's head. He made no move to pull up.
  16. Not my point. His false start is because Allen is eating him up. Allen is owning him today. In the Eagles game last year, Allen had 3 sacks on Peters and Peters pitched in with a couple false starts and a holding call. Allen is perhaps the best pass-rusher in the NFL and when the Bills dug this hole, they announced that they would be passing every down. That's unfortunate for Bell, who now gets a full-time workout the rest of the day. Hopefully, Chan will spare him some TE or RB help.
  17. Every one of Bill's goats are showing up today. In defense of Bell though, Allen has eaten a lot better LTs for lunch than Bell. He just about made Peters cry last year when they played the Eagles.
  18. Whitner hit a sliding QB. Big difference.
  19. And injuries on the line today to boot. And a WR with the drops. And a DB who is in his own head.
  20. Looked like a fumble. Sorry McKelvin. Nice almost redemption.
  21. Allen has done this to a lot of LTs including Peters last year.
  22. And the Bills are playing on the line with injuries. Byrd in the Whitner celebration school. Excited after the 14 yard gain hit. Idiot.
  23. Egads Bell. I don't blame him.
  24. He didn't dig the hole and he's not the one playing both tackles.
  25. Good coverage. What a catch.
