Glazer: Merriman to Buffalo
BuffaloBillsForever replied to SKRAAPY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
GREAT MOVE! -
The McNabb move was a horrible idea especially if they rebuilding which they claim they are doing. Give up a draft pick for a one year, over the hill player. McNabb will NOT be a Redskin next year. How do you think Washington is going to be in the next few years when they do not have a quarterback? Oh yeah, mediocre. Shanahan is not changing anything there, I see mostly BAD decisions being made in Washington.

Childress is a horrible headcoach and his handling of the Moss situation was mind boggling. He did not even advise with the owner that he was going to waive him...unbelievable. I disagree with you about Frazier, he can be an effective coordinator but this year his pass rush has failed him miserably, specifically the play of Jared Allen.

While I am disappointed with the Bills not landing a big name head coach like Cowher, Billick etc, I'm glad we are not wasting money with the 10 million dollar man Shanahan. He is seriously mismanaging his players and I don't see much improvement from the redskins from previous years. While Chan is not perfect (no coach is) I think he is doing a commendable job so far even though our record does not reflect it. We have serious flaws with our players, the talent is just not there. The bright spot is that Gailey is showing he can build an offense which he is touted as doing in the past...now if we can start improving on the defense. Let's all hope Nix nails this draft! GO BILLS!

Kyle Williams

I know its hard to see good individual performances in a D-Line that is so bad against the run and has no pass rush, but yeah, he did have an amazing game yesterday. I didn't know the exact stats until you posted them above and I agree that is an ELITE game for him. -
AT 5-2 Haley and Cassel Are a Mess

You suffer from many misconceptions, one being that a good co-ordinator will automatically make a good headcoach. This is Mularkey err balogna. Remember Wade Phillips? Williams? Hoody Jr. in Denver. Haven't you noticed in Arizona Haley as offensive coordinator was mostly a passing attack with a deadly offense. His offensive magic has not taken effect over to KC. In fact it has taken on an opposite philosophy of running the football. Nothing wrong with that but overall as a head coach he looks dis-functional out there. -
He's good and had another great game today! It is a shame his individual excellent performances get out shadowed by the poor individual performances of the likes of Kelsay, Whitner (he did play well today) on a week to week basis. He is definitely a bright spot on our defensive line and guy you want to build around. Great game Williams! P.S. I am loving this Steve Johnson fella. He is starting to become the best WR on this team.

AT 5-2 Haley and Cassel Are a Mess

I see a lot of disfunction between the HC and QB in that game. It would be nice to be 6-0 like the Denver Broncos were last year. At this current time, Denver Broncos fans would consider it a natural disaster. I see many similarities between the Bills good start to the season a few years ago, Denver Broncos of last year and the KC Chiefs of this year. Like the past few years each of these teams were frauds. -

We're bad, but there is not much of a difference between KC and the Bills despite the W/L records. KC has a better defense than us, but other than that KC's coaching is sub-par and they have a hefty contract with an under achieving QB, no passing game. -

Sure, they beat us and at this point probably are the better team but I don't think they are a great team, not even a good team for that matter. All I am pointing out is their record is VERY deceiving. Their QB is REALLY bad. I predict they crash and burn later in the year. Basically the point I am trying to make with this thread. -

They also play in a REALLY weak division in the AFC. -

We were 5-2 a few years ago? -
Being as bad as the Buffalo Bills are, the KC Chiefs did not impress me at ALL. Other than the fact we have the worst defense in the league and KC can take advantage of our run defense, they showed nothing else. Other than Haley's obvious timeout for the field goal, his play calling was horrible and did not look like a NFL head coach. With Cassel walking back to sideline it look liked dumb and dumber out there..lol Cassel was HORRIBLE today and not worth the monster contract KC tied him up with. I know we have a lot of problems including some coaching errors but the KC Chiefs are a fraud! YOU SUCK KC! HEHEHE.

The cell processor employed by the PS3 is well advanced from a technical standpoint but the problems lies with the development tools and developers taking advantage of that technology. It is difficult and coslty. Most games are 3rd party these days and are developed on the PC platform (very similar to the 360's dev tools). Games don't port very well over to cell/ps3 and that's why you see most 3rd party games superior on the 360. The only developers that have taken advantage of the cell processor is a few exclusive sony developers and those games overall are on par IMO with the Xbox exclusives. If the xbox 720 comes out, it will be more powerful than the PS3 in key areas for developers and will obviously have much superior developmental tools than the PS3/Cell. Sony IMO would need to play the catch up game. Right now after how many years? Sony's best games are on par with the 360's best games and in theory the PS3 is the more powerful console. Sony did not put much thought into the developer aspect of making a console which is their big downfall because it is not the console that makes the system it is the games.

Does Wade get fired this week?
BuffaloBillsForever replied to sullim4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you think JJ is regretting hiring a coach that would massage his ego and act as a yes man instead of getting a real football guy to run his team and manage the players? -
How about just call him SteveO

The biggest difference between the two consoles is the controller which is really important to me and the exclusives. The "quality" of the games are a wash, just depends on your taste. Big Exclusive Titles for PS3: Uncharted 1 & 2 Resistance 1 & 2 MGS 4 LittleBigPlanet Killzone 1 & 2 Big Exclusive Title for Xbox 360: Mass Effect 1 & 2 PGR 3 & 4 Halo 3, Halo 3:ODST, Halo Reach Gears of War 1 & 2 Fable 2 & 3 (upcoming) Forza Motorsport 2 & 3 Crackdown 1 & 2

I prefer the Xbox 360 as a pure gaming system better than the PS3. More games, I like the exclusive titles better on the 360, xbox live is superior for online play ( you do have to pay for it while the Sony's is free) and the xbox 360 controller is the best controller I have ever used on a console. The biggest problem with the 360 is reliability issues but with the new model that is on the market, those problems are solved. There are some reliability issues with the PS3 as well but nowhere close to the history of the 360. As a all-around home theater and gaming system the PS3 is a superb machine that offers a ton of value and has a lot of great games. To this day the PS3 is still one of the best Blu-ray players around that competes well even with some of the current Panasonic and OPPO models.
