  1. This is an excellent perspective and a very good point. The campaign is also costing him millions and millions out of his own pocket.
  2. I didn't know this either that it was outsourced. I'm not a big canned tuna person already. What I have is Cloverleaf brand Skipjack in water in my pantry. Product of Thailand. I guess we need Donald Trump to call out the Tuna industry at his next rally.
  3. I have never heard of this Bumble Bee brand tuna...seems like some low quality stuff.
  4. This move exposes their dire LB situation even more and they can't do anything about it except hope to improve that area through the draft. Billy boy giving the middle finger to Rex on this one.
  5. Yup. Also keep in context the Bills are in this situation without even a single playoff appearance and a below .500 record in trading off the future for present success which hasn't even happened (Whaley's tenure thus far). Even though the Saints have been in cap hell too and for several years at least it payed off with a superbowl and a sustainable run of playoff appearances. The Saints situation just reminds me of how excellent the front office of the Patriots are. They strive for the perfect balance of sustainability and it shows year after year.
  6. Giving contract extensions then firing them in the following year?
  7. Guinness for breakfast, Kilkenny for lunch, soda bread for dinner. More Guinness and soda bread in between.
  8. The NFL product is in decline...
  9. Gronk and Bennett vs. the worst LB core in the NFL. :censored:
  10. If they had Tom Brady they wouldn't be able to afford Watkins and Clay without other major trade-offs to their roster. Silly hypothetical. That is the beauty of the Patriots. If Doug Whaley ran the Patriots they would end up like the Saints. The Patriots brass are the best at retaining and letting go assets for present and future benefit. Their balance to sustainability is unparalleled.
  11. They make mistakes but unlike our front office they strike a MUCH better balance between present and future. The way the Patriots work is all about sustainability. Doug Whaley has no concept of that.
  12. The Patriots front office are the smartest people in the room.
  13. You nailed it. They have somewhere in 1.5-2.5 million in real cap space for FA right now. This is why the Bills are dumpster diving. With some extensions it will open up some but it is too little too late. I have seen no indications that extensions are even evident in this free agency period. The Bills have been completely hamstrung this off-season because of their bungling of the cap the previous two years.
  14. Yeah. Just look Ty Law's release and a Patriots championship.
  15. So right now around 1-2 million for free agents. Dumpster diving like what we are seeing. 3rd tier players at best. I am not going to speculate on Glen and Gilmore as there is no proof either way these deals are getting done or not. Also, the more they wait on the extensions in this FA period matters less and less. This is something that should have been done long ago.
  16. ...and how much of that is allocated to their 8 draft picks?
  17. The only wheels the Bills can kick is from a bicycle.
  18. This is not a surprise to anyone that has been following their cap situation the last 4 months.
  19. You must have had a short leash for sheer incompetence (aka the Buffalo Bills)
  20. I just wish Trump became the Bills owner.
  21. Yup! Electro Trump is awesome too.
