  1. Actually, no. He is 29, and won't be 30 for a few more months. Does nobody know how to to 5 seconds of research? I mean jeeze I've even seen people claim he was 32. 9 times out of 10 people get his age wrong. How is not considering RT to be a "critical need" MORE outrageous than trading our first round pick in his rookie season? Bell has been decent, the RT depth has been holding their own, and the offense is firing now. So no, I agree that RT is not a "critical need".
  2. Bolded part, /endthread. Unless of course they are suffocating. In that case, HELP THEM! 12% of Americans are black. According to your count 18% of NFL QBs are black, putting them ahead of the trend. What conclusion are you trying to lead people to?
  3. I hear the 7th round pick throwing those TDs to him isn't too bad either.
  4. The best part is he expected a sticky for his 2 minutes of copy and paste effort. Gotta love the entitlement syndrome of 12 year olds.
  5. I don't see how they are all nonsense. Extra revenue + (attempt at) increased fanbase and promotion.
  6. Chris Zelkovich Sports Reporter Rogers Communications is committed to its current deal with the Buffalo Bills, but has no plans beyond that. Rogers vice-chairman Phil Lind denied an Associated Press report Friday that the company was committed to continuing the series when the deal expires in 2012. He also denied reports that Rogers was considering expanding the series and possibly moving half of the Bills home games to Toronto. ``No discussions have taken place,” Lind told the Star Friday afternoon. ``We are committed to the NFL, but in what way I can’t say because I don’t know what it is right now. There have been no discussions about extending the series.”
  7. They look to be pretty close to the NHL records of the Blackhawks and Sabres... Chicago 7 7 1 Buffalo 3 9 2 If he's going to create a thread with the supposed purpose of getting it stickied, he could at least make an effort to make it coherent.
  8. Um, no. Why would we? It's just a random collection of stats. You don't get stickies because you asked for it.
  9. That report was quickly followed by another one saying he is directly denying ever saying they wanted half the games. But that's a less sexy/controvertial story.
  10. Hasn't this already been busted? The guy came out already and said it was false.
  11. And that's how I ended up with 8 tickets. I know they got them for free, but $15 is very reasonable compared to the idiots trying to charge $40 and up. I can't afford tickets/trips to the Ralph, so my family is quite happy with this scalper.
  12. Not reporting would be career suicide. 1. You have to show up to work to get paid. 2. It would be in the best interests of the "washed up" player to show he still has what it takes. 3. Does he really want to be "that guy"? The spoiled brat who stomped his feet and threw a tantrum because he didn't get the team he wanted? That'll look real good on his resume to contender teams for next season. Besides, it is being reported that he's to report tomorrow.
  13. It didn't say anything about his affect on (grooming?) Maybin. Odd considering the article is specifically about his impact on the team.
  14. I'm pretty sure its kept a secret until the deadline. Then it is simply awarded to the team with the worst record who put in a claim. Otherwise it could get too complicated with the "OK, do you want him? No? OK next team. Do you want him? No? OK next team." etc.
  15. I've been to both the Phins and Jets games in Toronto, and am hoping to score a couple tickets to this one. Be sure to represent.
  16. Every year there are people online giving away (or selling cheap) tickets they were given for the Bills in Toronto games. Last year someone someone sold me 4 tickets cheap (making for much appreciated early X-Mas gifts), and I`m hoping someone will again. Can anyone hook me up?
  17. People are overlooking that Lynch and Green were both gone for the Baltimore game as well. Hasn't Bell also reigned in his habit of taking penalties?
  18. The Pro-Line odds here in Ontario are showing 8.5 points. I'll take that thank you very much.
  19. Fitz has statistically been one of the better fantasy QBs in the league since becoming the starter. In fact he had a career game this past week after being named a "Sit 'Em" against a great defense. KC is weaker on D than Baltimore, and Johnson is even being named a sleeper pick for WRs, so why no love for Fitz? On a side note, Jackson is being named a fantasy starter for RBs. Johnson is the biggest mover in fantasy leagues this week (including both players being picked up or dropped), with Fitz being the 6th biggest mover. Somewhat surprised to not see Evans up there, despite 3 TDs this past week after a relatively slow start.
  20. They're not going to put specialized positions like kick and punt returners on the list. If someone -happens- to also be a returner, that may help their ranking. But they won't list players who -only- played special teams or list them solely on their return abilities. I could be wrong, but a sane and just universe wouldn't allow it. Heck, if you're going to differentiate between left/right defensive back, and right/left outside linebacker, you should include long snappers and the second inside linebacker for 3-4 defenses.
  21. Not possible. EVENTUALLY our defense will find a team that won't put up 30+ points on us.
