  1. BTW Moats is now listed as 2nd string. I think he was showing up as 3rd a couple days ago. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart.html
  2. I think this is the best thread I've ever read on this board.
  3. It is indeed difficult to compare FitzyClaus & Jim Kelly individually, because of their supporting casts on both sides of the ball. However, I'd be interested to know what the difference was, given the time they had the ball (a time-of-possession comparison). The bend-but-don't-break D of the Kelly years seemed to be on the field a lot, especially when the K-gun was in top form and scoring quickly. Of course, if FitzyClaus doesn't start piling up the wins, there's not a lot of point in comparing them.
  4. For all reasons stated, I'd be stunned if Jim Harbaugh took the Miami job (which, incidentally, isn't vacant -- so much class in the Miami FO). However, I would love to see it happen, because he probably wouldn't fare all that well, and it would provide Reason #185 to hate them a little more. It is great to see Miami's FO openly undermining their current head coach though. That's gotta be great for the locker room.
  5. Exactly -- it is win-win for Shane Lechler. Speak your mind, AND land in a better situation.
  6. Ya -- how many times did we see Poz running behind a tight-end on his way into the end zone this season? Far, far too many.
  7. http://www.wivb.com/dpp/sports/bills_and_nfl/Fitzpatricks-beard-is-now-history with video coverage -- that is how big this story is!
  8. You went to school with Leo Roth -- he's no spring chicken, so I'm thinking this is a pretty late career change for you. Big Cat is right - expect to be criticized harshly, to work for free and bust your hump...which can be tough unless you are independently wealthy. Of course, now I'm wondering if you are actually Leo Roth, and having some fun by saying you "has always done real good in English." If you are in fact Leo Roth, please take note: The pseudo-poignant one sentence paragraph. Or sentence fragment. To end an article. Is overused. And trite.
  9. And if Peter King shows up, his ego and butt take up at least two more seats.
  10. This... although his injury provided Tebow's opportunity, right? Either way, Orton isn't enough of an upgrade from Fitzy Claus. I had a Harry Caray moment: Spell Orton backwards and you get "Notro"... Orton no tro in Buffalo!
  11. Or is Rex being a wiseass because he only votes 3 QBs...
  12. Ebay is probably your best bet. I think redbubble.com is a site for people to sell their art as well (although it might be intended for artists' portfolios, etc.). Worth a look. Did your wife eventually understand the situation? Did you explain that her gift to you (though well intentioned, generous, and thoughtful) was akin to you offering your wife her favorite flower, dipped in a turd? I know your situation is a bit difficult... but I gotta say, outside looking in, it's pretty hilarious. I bet I see your scene in a movie someday. Must also say -- let's give it up for Mrs. Billsfaninvgs for being down with putting up football art in the living room! That's a conversation that would go nowhere in my house.
  13. Same here. Doc Walker won't stop pontificating...
  14. I think that mentor was Lavar Arrington.
  15. death to twitter
  16. Sadly, no one seems to want a Maybin-in-the-box.
  17. Oy. Thankfully Nix & company aren't foolish enough to sign a 37 year old wideout who will command too much money, and a 33 year old cancer to team chemistry.
  18. Exactly. BTW I hate twitter more every day.
  19. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/12/15/fitzs-beard-to-be-sheared/
  20. Good article. Unfortunately, Maybin will probably need to hit bottom (waiver wire) in order to wake up.
  21. Great career, one of the best... and also a narcissistic child who thinks it's all about him, whose classless act grew very old. Mr. Farve, I say "Good day to you, sir."
  22. All depends on what you want your #1 WR to do. If you want him to stretch the field, get behind safeties, work 1 on 1 with a corner on sideline routes, then Lee will do fine. If you want your #1 WR to go over the middle, Lee is probably not your guy. Agree with reddog though... somehow I am not all that worried about the WR position.
  23. Here's something positive: Arthur Moats. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/columns/bob-dicesare/article282257.ece Intelligent, hard working, play-making LB.
