I posted earlier in the thread about this loophole and determining it was orthopedic and not neurologic . I'm sure this is where mistakes were made. From the video @Warcodered posted its quite possible Tua got back to the locker room and had cleared his head enough to pass the tests and he did actually have a back injury. They should have reviewed the video and determined there was no way a back injury makes someone stumble like that.

But this is where the loophole is in the protocol. The protocal states that if you exhibit gross motor instability, aka you are wobbly after a hit, then you have to go for a concussion test. Tua went for the concussion test and it was determind it wasn't neurological, based on the tests they preformed. According to the protocal, you can continue once that's determind. Is that right or wrong? They should probably just say if you exhibit gross motor instability, you are out of the game. I'm sure it's in the protocol because you could get up from a hit and trip over your own feet or a player or whatever and that too could look in instability.

Actually no that's not in the protocol, and that's maybe where there's a loophole. If you exhibit what the NFL calls "gross motor instability" aka you get up from a hit and are a bit wobbly or unsteady, then you must be examined for a concusion. Here's where the loophole is, if the independent doctor and team doctor determine it's no neurological, then you can go back into the game. Both the Dolphins and independent neurologist determined Tuas wasn't neurological from the tests they do in the protocol. Now, that doesn't mean the protocol works or is perfect. He should have obvioulsy been to have further tests The easiest way to close that loop is to just say, hey if you exhibit this gross motor instability, you are out of the game. If I had to guess, they put that in the protocal in case someone gets up from a big hit and trips or falls over another player. That could be viewed as unsteadiness by an independent spotter.

So, from an offensive stand point, I think Diggs will be doubled for the game. I'm interested to see the game plan that gets Knox, McKenzie and Crowder involved when that happens. And maybe Davis, though I'm not convinced he's a full go. Is this a McKenzie game ala the Patriots last year? The Dolphins played a lot of zone against the Patriots and then went with man against the Ravens. Will be interesting what they decided to do.

Feel more for Micah, than the team. I think the Bills will be okay. He deserved to be part of this season and what could be a SB run.

Was it last year the Bills had a tough go in the 1st and 3rd quarters, then would come live in the 4th? They seem to be doing really well adjusting at halftime this season, obviously still very early.

Did I say anywhere Josh wasn't dealing? I simply stated it was 10 -10 at halftime, if you are an opposing team, that's where you want to be if you have any shot at beating the Bills.

It was 10 - 10 at halftime though and the Rams were getting the ball back after the half. I think if you are going toe to toe with the Bills, that's where you need to be. It wasn't a runaway at that point. The problem for the Rams was they came out of the half and had a 3 and out, then the Bills scored on their drive. Then they had a 6 play drive that ended in a punt. Then the Bills scored again and just like that it's 24 -10 and the games getting away from them. Their offense just couldn't keep up. You argue that's the right approach but whether another team can keep up with he Bills and Allen, is the question.

I think it's same way the Bills would stop the Chiefs. Cover 2 shell, make the Bills run or dink and dunk down the field. Get pressure from 4, in the Bills case I think that's up the gut. If a team can do that, it will shorten the game and eat up the clock. This allows the game to stay close, if the other teams offense can keep up. It also gives more options to the other teams offense and doesn't force them in to the Bills defensivee strength, pass defending.

Yea this is true and is more dependent on them being healthy. Saying that, we did see some nice pressure from Groot up the middle. They'll need to double Hill or Waddle, I'm just not sure I'd want to blitz and leave the possibility of them being one on one. I think you need to get creative with how you bring a 4-man pressure, which the Bills did in LA.

Yea I agree with this. I think the pressure from the front 4 needs to come from the middle, a lot like it did for Stafford. I actually think they could run a similar gameplan to what they did against the Rams. Sean McVay wanted to stretch the defense. Stafford was getting frustrated not being able to go deep. The Bills do need to get pressure with 4 and move Tua off his spot and make him come off his first read.

If I'm being super critical, still think it wasn't the cleanest game from the Bills. Could clean up the penalties and thought there was some situational football that could have been better. Saying all that, to make mistakes and still demolish a team tells you how good of a team this is. I think they'll need to clean those issues up with the upcoming games.

I think you aren't understanding the rule. If the Titans were intentionally holding, they would only be able to do it to 1 player on the field, on 1 down. They wouldn't be able to hold every WR/TE/RB going out on a route, that would incure a 15 yard penalty. I didn't see anything on the live broadcast showing all the Giants defenders each holding a player on those final plays. The reason you haven't seen it, I would assume, is because teams know you can't do that. Sure, you could hold one player and you would only get a 5 yard penalty. My question is, how would you know which player to hold? How do you know who the play would be designed to go to? So you hold Tyreek Hill and then what happens with Kelce?

Crazy to think we are a year on and the TE room, thus far, will not have changed.

Just for clarification, this is Dan Gilleon being a dirtbag. If you read the tweets and the messages he posted, they are dated end of July & early August. As you know, Matt had already been drafted by the Buffalo Bills. So this is Dan being clever with his words as Matt hadn't made the team yet as he was still trying to make the team. As far as his claims of "we ignored the offerr", none of the messages he posted support that position. Matt's lawyer in the text says his parents are inquiring how much money the client wants. That's not making an offer.

As I said upthread I was really looking forward to that 12 personnel mismatch. That 11th player on the field really should be your chess piece and thought Howard was going to do that. I still think they have some nice mismatch pieces. McKenzie for his speed out of the slot. I think Cook would be a good mismatch in 2 RB sets. It would just have been nice to have a mismatch with double TEs. EDIT: Oh and I like the mismatch Davis gives if they bump him inside to the slot and put Shakir outside.

Yea I agree. I'm not a Sweeney fan. This could end up being a money thing or they just prefer to back the guy they spend a draft pick on? So far Tommy Sweeney has shown he can't do the things required of a backup or #2 TE. I really liked the idea of the Bills utalizing 12 personnel but I guess that's fizzled out. I think the personnel advantages will have to come from McKenzie in slot, Davis in slot and maybe something like 21 personnel were Cook is the 2nd RB.

And it seems like the press isn’t really going after or questioning anything her attorney has said since.

And from what the victims attorney has tweeted since he was cut, it appears he was using the Bills and Araiza. The victim deserves better and better representation. It cast some doubt on how much involvement Araiza actually had or were he and the Bills just used for PR?
