  1. Yea he definitely did in the 2nd half.
  2. I think Allen is pressing to put a lot of points on the board based on what he sees from the defense. With John Brown out, opposing defenses are doubling Diggs. Allen needs to learn to come off Diggs and look for Beasley or a RB and stop pressing to get chunk plays. Got to live with dink and dunk. If you dump off to the running back or hit the short intermediate routes the LBs won’t be able to fall into the deeper zones. Which, it looked like he did in the 2nd half and there were 2 long TD plays that were there.
  3. I’d also it had something to do with keeping the ball on the left hash, Bass is much better from there. Moss was running end around to the right hash. I’m sure they didn’t want it on the right. For me it was right call but the OL did an awful job blocking it up.
  4. It’s his groin so they don’t want to rush him back but it could be this next week or week after.
  5. Sell out to stop the run. Newton has been pretty bad throwing the ball this season.
  6. I don't think it's about finding the money, it's more about committing more money to the DT position. So really they would be looking for a young/cheap or someone willing to play on a 1-year veteran contract.
  7. The problem is, it's not like they are finding a replacement for Star, as in Star hasn't really left. Star is still on the Bills and his contract is on the books. They can't just go throwing huge money at other DTs as you've already got money tied up in a player who will be back. So they have been forced to look cheap, I think that was the plan with Taylor and they were going to try to sneak him onto the practice squad, which failed. I think at this point they can only look for cheap DTs at this point. There's no way they could sign or trade for a high price DT.
  8. To be fair, the Bills had the same number of offensive possessions. So they didn't really keep the ball away, the offense just didn't do anything when they had the ball.
  9. Mahomes threw it less than his 2020 average. I don't care about his completion percentage, that's not what his is about. He threw less passes, that's what it's about. Do you think if he threw his average amount of times per game, that the Chiefs still would have only scored 26 points? Is that what you think?
  10. But they didn't, they didn't do what they wanted. And Mahomes didn't complete the pass. You are talking in what ifs... I'm talking in what played out. They decided to put the ball into their RBs hands and what did that get them? The Bills literally played cover, had lite numbers in the box and told the Chiefs to go ahead a run. Why? Because it's the lesser of two evils. Do you really think the Bills defense was going to completely stop the Chiefs? Is that what you expected? The Balimore Ravens defense, which is miles better, couldn't stop the Chiefs.
  11. I said this after the game last night and I'll say it again, it wasn't a bad game plan by the Bills defense. They "forced" or dared the Chiefs to run. They took the ball out of Mahomes hands. Why does it matter how many yards per carry they were averaging? Did it hurt the Bills on the scoreboard? Did they run soooooooo much that the game was out of reach? No of course they didn't. It was very nearly a tie ball at the half and it was a 1 score game in the 4th quarter. Let me ask this, if the game plan was different and the Bills bottled up the Chiefs and they couldn't run the ball so were forced to pass... what difference do you think that would have made to the scoreboard?
  12. Based on what I saw, the Bills don't need another 3T. The Chiefs absolutely steam rolled that DL with combo blocks on the smaller DTs. This allowed an OL to easily get to the second level and block off our LBs. Now, the Bills invited this with showing very lite boxes. Interestingly, when they brought Poyer down to stop the run late in the game, they were somewhat successful. Saying all that, I think they need a space eating DT.
  13. Meh, he played ok... he had a few plays but got blown off the ball, I'm not sure I'd use pretty well. KC was using a lot of combo blacks, in run game and the Bills didn't have a DT to suck those up.
  14. I think some people still expect an amazing defense to win us games. That’s not the modern NFL. Give me a high scoring offense that does it. Really thought we had that through first 4 weeks. Not so sure now after these last 2 weeks.
  15. Could have been 13-13 at the half too. Hell, if they got 3 points on any of their other drives in the 2nd half it would have been close. The offense was really bad.
  16. I know people aren’t going to agree but I actually didn’t hate the defensive gameplan. The Chiefs are going to Chief... let them run all over you. You are literally taking the ball out of the Super Bowl MVPs hands. It was nearly 13-13 at the half. Now the offense, I’m not really sure what their plan was. And Josh was bad Josh.
  17. Did you know Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard???
  18. Chiefs going to Chief.... Bills just need to keep up.
  19. So... Run, run, pass for the Bills now?
  20. No expectation for the defense tonight, c'mon offense just keep up!
