  1. Tbf, the defender slipped... Still, he's out there breaking ankles.
  2. Imagine being a team in the AFC South, that division is wide open.
  3. I'm not sure there has been anything comparable ever in NFL history if the Texans choose to trade Watson. Certainly not modern NFL history. You have a proven YOUNG franchise QB, which we as fans should all recognise how hard they are to come by, and you trade him away? In my mind, it's nonsensical.
  4. The Houston Texans gave Bill O'Brien carte blanche and he absolutely dismantled that franchise, that's what went wrong.
  5. There's more than one reason yet Watson signed an extension after what I'm assuming you think is the 'political' reason.
  6. Marcus Peters is known to get burned a lot on the double moves.
  7. I think it was Zoom they had said. I didn't see whether he was able to do the Chargers one as well but I thought he was meant to to both of them yesterday.
  8. I think another thing going in the Bills favor is they don't have to travel. With an extra days rest and knowing you don't have to get on a plane and go through that, is nice.
  9. This is the playoffs, it's doesn't really matter who they played in the regular season. The best thing the Bills can do is to help themselves and limit mistakes. Buffalo is the better team and they had a good game plan last year to limit Lamar with his legs. This also isn't the Ravens defense from last year. The Bills will need a better game this week than what they did against Colts.
  10. Vote for the 🤮 emoji
  11. The sweeps are awful. The blocking on them was awful too. And on the 3rd down sweep Josh did audible to the sweep so not entirely on Daboll.
  12. I think it certainly played into, they just didn't really have Beasley or McKenzie to go to that short passing game. And to Dabolls credit, those QB draws lead to the Diggs touchdown, when the Colts switched to single high safety.
  13. Yea, I think he has enough credit to deserve a mulligan. The Colts were playing that very, very deep zone and were daring the Bills to run or move to the short passing game. Daboll thought going to the running game was the move to make and when the RBs weren't getting anywhere went to the QB draws hoping to soften that zone and bring the safeties in. It's not what I thought they should have done, I'd have liked them to go to the short passing game as that would have also helped with the pass rush. We go again!
  14. It was a difficult game for Josh as the pass plays called were for a lot of deep routes, notice that Brown only had 2 targets. The Colts played a very, very deep zone and kept everything in front of them. Brown, just couldn't get past them. They were daring the Bills to run OR throw the check down. Which, I thought Daboll would have adjusted to that and gone to the check down, but he didn't. He decided to go with the QB runs, hoping to shrink and soften the zone. I suppose the reason he did that is because the Bills run game just wasn't effective. I would have preferred they went to the short passing game. Screens, quick throws and dump offs. Death my a thousand paper cuts. We know Allen can do that.
  15. Yea I remember that one. Josh also checked out of a QB sneak when he saw the Colts defense adjust gaps.
  16. I thought the adjustment at half would have been to go to dink and dunk. The safeties were playing so deep and daring us to run. And we know we can’t run, so take the short stuff. Death by a thousand paper cuts. They kept running deep routes, which cause some of the late sacks.
  17. They played zone. That’s it, that’s what it was. They dared the Bills to run, with how high the safeties played. The Bills should have switched to the dink and dunk. I’m not sure why that wasn’t the adjustment.
  18. Yea I agree with that. It was a very competent QB on the other side of the ball. Still, something questionable about how the defense played. I guess the take away is, when asked to “win” the game, the Bills defense did it.
  19. Todays game plan certainly didn’t seem to be.
  20. If I had to guess, I think it was 100% this. They didn’t want the game to end on a replay call.
  21. I was pacing back and forth and celebrating that it was definitely a fumble. I still can’t believe it wasn’t called that.
  22. To counter that argument you are going to a division where essentially you'll be playing for the wildcard every year. It's the Chargers, their fan base in LA is awful and their owners are notorious for being difficult to work with. Hell, they fired Marty Schottenheimer after going 14-2! And while Herbert had one of the best QB rookie seasons ever, it's still only 1 season. No idea what will happen next season with more film on him. After Bakers rookie season lots of people were foaming at the mouth with what they saw in Cleveland with young talent on defense/offense and the QB. Two years later and two coaches later, Baker isn't that same QB he was his rookie season and that defense leaves a lot to be desired. With Watson you know what you have, he's been doing it for multiple seasons. So I can see the counter point and what Yolo is saying. The draft picks will come back to Houston and you have a proven franchise QB locked up in a wide open division.
  23. I'd say as far as where I thought this team would be preseason, I would consider this season a success. In a challenging situation and season, this Bills team went out there and won the division, convincingly. Josh Allen has developed into the QB we all wanted him to be. Saying all that, in season obviously my expectations shifted and I think they should at least win a playoff game for this season to be a success. This team has so much talent that the bar has shifted.
