  1. Yea agreed. Don’t remember which foot it was on Rivers but it’s Mahomes left, his plant foot, so sort of a big deal. And generally the toe gets worse the more you play on it, not better. Running is actually a big part of Mahomes game, though not talked about much. He loves to run on 3rd downs. I wonder how much this limits him?
  2. No Bell and no Watkins. Looks like no redemption game for him.
  3. I can't imagine a Anthony Lynn offense will be very pass heavy
  4. I've always thought Stafford has been good to very good but not great. Somethings always been missing and it can't all be blamed on the coaching.
  5. Yea that's what he's saying but he thinks if they do it more, it may expose more of their weaker areas and might rely on guys who aren't All-Pros. Which is why he thinks it's a better way to defend them. Definitely. They both like to play hero ball.
  6. I don't think that's what he's saying though. He's not saying they won't, he's saying they would prefer not to. It's what trips them up. Which he then backs up, with some evidence. Of course they can dink and dunk, so I suppose I shouldn't have said won't but they would prefer not to. They WANT to be explosive. They don't want to be a dink and dunk team because it forces them into mistakes.
  7. Yea Mahomes and Josh are very similar, they love to play hero ball. It's what happened in the Chiefs loss to the Raiders. And like the video posted said, the Chiefs are an explosive offense which isn't the same as an efficient offense. They won't dink and dunk their way down the field. To the OP, I'm still not sure I would blitz PM. Maybe a couple but it wouldn't be a lot. All of the defenses that were able to "contain" the KC offense, used a lot of Cover 2 or Quarters. Like I said above, the Chiefs don't dink and dunk teams and honestly I think it annoys the crap out of them when they have to. They start forcing long plays because that's who they are, an explosive offense. If you make them march down the field and into the red zone, where they aren't one of the best offense there, there's more of a likelihood that they make mistakes.
  8. Stills is in case Gabriel can't go tomorrow. If the ankle is fine in the pregame testing, then Stills will be inactive I would imagine.
  9. What a quote! Ed Oliver in shorts too.
  10. ... with his tail between his legs?!?!?
  11. It’s interesting because the Ravens did double Cole early. He actually changed his option route later in the game and was wide open on a couple plays but because they had done that, Josh didn’t see it.
  12. I don’t know, he’s out here liking tweets that a concussed person would like haha
  13. So passed all the tests but we decided to not bring him back in to the game and instead ruled him out? Yea I'm buying that haha.
  14. Who's walking to an other team? Watson certainly isn't. Watson is literally one of the few players that would have to make a 'power move'. He's a franchise QB, they rarely hit the trade market. As proven with numerous other players including our own Stefon Diggs, if a player is unhappy, they can get off a team. Funny you weren't in the Diggs threads upset when he was trying to force his way off the Vikings.
  15. Save his own skin, is that what you think it is? Not that this is a horribly run franchise and he wants no part of it? I don't really get your argument. Watson is a franchise QB and therefore is going to get the majority of the press if he is unhappy. You think he's not being a leader because he's not happy? So he's just meant to suck it up and deal with the crap that's going on? And I've just pointed out that Watt isn't happy either. Do you honestly believe that the number of players unhappy stops with Watson and Watt and therefore the rest of the team is somehow loyal to this franchise? There are other players, who if are unhappy can also leave the team, which I'm sure you are aware.
  16. How is that not the point? You think these players are more loyal to the franchise than they are to a player, especially the leader of the team?JJ Watt looks like he's heading out too and he's pissed too. He's a team leader and called out players efforts, how do you think that makes them feel?
  17. Welp, Mahomes said he wanted to run the ball more because he hasn't as much this year...
  18. Saying that, all players aren't created equal otherwise they would be paid as such. It's a silly argument. If Billy Bob who plays special teams is upset that Watson is upset and wants out, is that really the same?
