  1. I agree they are solid. Well coached, with a very good defense and offense that limits mistakes. Saying that they are an overhyped solid.
  2. Sell out to stop the run. Come out of the base nickel defense and go with 3 LBs. Taylor can beat the Bills, I don't think Wentz can.
  3. Yea I get that. They've attempted to run 20 personnel, I-formation kind of plays and it just hasn't worked either. When players aren't executing it's really difficult to say a change of formation/personnel is going to do anything. Plus in the previous week, they went to more 11 personnel in the second half against that Cover 2 and beat it. They even went with 6 OL in 11 personnel, taking Sweeney off, and the play was still blown up.
  4. I don't really find it that weird. The Bills ran 11 personnel something like 75% of the time last year. It's their bread and butter personnel wise and what they should be doing. I guess it's weird that it was every single play but it's their strength on offense. They did run 11 with an extra OL instead of TE on a couple occasions.. which didn't work, so there's that.
  5. I mean there is a video going around and it’s her threatening to take her gun out and shoot Dalvin… no idea when it happened in the timeline of events.
  6. This!! They are massively missing YAC from their recievers, minus Diggs. The short passing game isn't working because their literally is no threat of YAC. It was massively apparent on Sunday vs Jax. Allen was passing underneath but Beasely, Singletary, Moss and Sweeney were not hurting the Jax defense with the YAC.
  7. And you may be correct, that's why I said maybe it's something to do with what they are asked to do in their run blocking within this scheme. The point still remains this current OL can't run block. And I think it's highly unliking at this point Daboll or Johnson is going to completely change how they've been teaching the OL to run block. I just don't think they have the time to do it in season. Also, I'm wondering why Feliciano was allowed to lose weight.
  8. So, give up trying to win the game? I don't follow. They were in FG range 2 times and Josh fumbled the ball on one, when Singletary would have picked up the first down. The other one Josh threw an interception on a short pass toe Beasely. On 2nd down in FG range they did run Moss, for no gain. Sounds like what you really want is for Josh to do a better job protecting the ball.
  9. Not being funny but we have tried a couple 21 and 22 personnel and it just does not work. This OL, certainly the one playing yesterday, can not run block. Or maybe they can't run block the way the offense is designed to run block. I'm not sure. Daboll needs to figure out how to punish teams in that Cover 2 shell with 11 personnel. And maybe Knox coming back will help them because it was obvious Josh doesn't have a lot of confidence in Sweeney.
  10. They didn't really run 10 personnel that much last season. Only like 15% of the time. They ran 11 personnel the most, nearly 71% of the time. Gabe was getting Browns catches last year, that's really nuts and bolts of it. Also, it makes more sense to run 11 with the emergence of Dawson Knox. They can attack the seam.
  11. I thought the concern was with Diggs and his numbers?
  12. Gab Davis was getting the balls that John Brown was meant to get last season. With Brown not being healthy, he saw more of the ball. Now, Sanders is getting those balls.
  13. Or the OL is awful and Daboll has to question what he can and can't call. If your OL is so awful that you aren't sure if they will hold up or not, how are you meant to know what you can call? You can't run an organic sequence of plays when on one play the Bills OL actually holds protection and then on the next play it's a jail break. And to the previous poster, the Bills offense is not a screen game type offense. Odd for Wood to say that. @GunnerBill put in another post that the Bills ran 15 screen plays against Miami, to little or no effect.
  14. Yea I'd prefer Daboll stick with what he knows will work. Second half against Miami they went to that, just feeding Beasley on the short stuff. I think Beas being dinged up this week didn't help but then I always think where's McKenzie? I've always thought he was a Beasley in waiting kind of like when the Pats*** had Julien Edelman to replace Wes Welker. I think becuase he's the return guy they don't want to expose him on offense.
  15. Yea, can't really say it's on Daboll completely. The WGR crew(Jeremy) were moaning that they need throw deep or intermediate. The problem there is the OL. Sometimes they hold up, sometimes they don't. How the hell is Daboll suppose to know when they will and when they won't? They are completely inconsitant and terrible. Call a long pass play, it's a jail break. Call a intermediate route, they hold up. Honestly, the OL is the #1 problem with the offense. I think Daboll has no clue what he can and can't call without exposing Josh to pressure. This OL can't run block either. They aren't maulers. This is why the Bills don't run and when they do it's not very successful. Has nothing to do with establishing the run game.
  16. Easily worst game of McD era… not even Jsut of the last 3 years.
  17. And that's fine but he could have easily shared his stance from the get go. The problem is, Aaron doesn't like being criticized or questioned. He chose to go the route he knew no one would question. He's an idiot.
  18. Yea that's entirely the point. Not a peep out of him when the rules were signed off. Nothing. But now, becuase no one criticizes Aaron Rodgers, these policies aren't based on science.
  19. Also, Aaron Rodgers is an NFLPA player rep. He signed off on all the covid policies. Now, and only now is he coming out and saying he doesn’t believe the policies are right. Hahaha, can’t make it up.
  20. This is typical KAaron Rodgers. He doesn’t like being criticised. He knew what he’s was doing when he purposefully lied about his vaccination status. He did it, because he didn’t want to be criticised or questioned. And now he’s in full on melt down mode for being criticised for lying.
  21. Correct. Only thing stopping teams would be the contract and the attitude.
  22. I agree with the previous poster. The Bills are not good at running. The Bills can’t line up in I-formation, which they did several times against Miami, and run smash mouth football. It’s a win for whoever’s defense they play against when they do it. The passing game for the Bills opens up the run game. And in place of the running the Bills need to ‘dink and dunk’ their way down the field. Use Moss in the passing game. It’s exactly what happened in the 2nd half. It then opens up the ability to run. So no, don’t completely abandon the run. The problem is, and this is probably what people mean by Josh shouldn’t be out there just slinging it, the Bills or Josh or Daboll get impatient with ‘dink and dunk’. So they’ll throw some sort passes and then attempt a kill shot. They just aren’t patient enough to continue doing it. I’d also say the short passes help Josh get into the flow of the game. He is not a run, run, 3rd down pass QB. He needs the rhythm of passes.
  23. If they wanted a corpse of a player, Cam Newton is out there for free… no draft picks involved.
  24. Have we forgotten the Bass-o-matic?
