  1. Seriously, if the the Bills win this game, I'm willing to rank it as a more improbable win than the Comeback Game. Less significance, but definitely more improbable. That's how hopeless I feel.
  2. How much are you smoking to get such an exact number like that? You must know someone to have a specific guess like that.
  3. I love how you name a dozen players, some pro bowlers, and explain why they'll be off the team next year. And then you conveniently end your post with a "well, things change and basically all the players I listed can help this team win 10 game" comment.
  4. The usual suspects were included in the OPs rant, but I was confused with his inclusion. The infatuation with sack totals will contribute to the downfall of any reasonable debate regarding this years D.
  5. Has Kyle Williams really underperformed? I don't look at the advanced stats or focus specifically on him while watching games, but I seem to remember him abusing interior OLs just the same as he always has.
  6. A novel idea!! Contrast that to an interview I was listening to about Mike Zimmer's approach to his DBs in Minny. Zim was the DB Coach for the Cowboys when they had Deon. The reporter remarked how difficult it is for young DBs to impress him because he overloads them with schematic details and then compares them to perhaps the greatest corner ever.
  7. Don't know about beer or cider, but definitely not wine from my personal experiences.
  8. Yeah. I'd give the guy I paid 25 million a chance to figure the thing out. I'd trust in the architect of a roster that won 9 games last year and added talent in the off-season. I'd "remind" my head coach about the stud personnel he's got up front and "suggest" he let em loose. And I'd certainly resist the urge to do anything stupid after 6 games when half my skill players have been in the training room for the majority of the season.
  9. I'll never forgive Graham for running the wrong route and getting Fitzy picked off in the endzone against the Pats. People might be holding out hope for Goodwin because he's got more football sense in his right pinky than Graham ever had. It doesn't take much to see that. With that said, I'd have to think his career is starting to run down with the Bills. Too bad, he's a good guy by all accounts.
  10. Right on. I'll take a Tennessee performance against the Jags as long as we come out of Wembley with a W. Rex has been blowing a bit of smoke lately, but he's damn right about being snake bit with the injuries. Like the old cliche says, the bye couldn't come at a better time.
  11. This is funny, simple and so true. Them were the days!
  12. Do you think Terry is going to blow it up after one season? I would hope he's keen to avoid the Cleveland/Haslem model.
  13. Are we really talking about firing people after starting 3-3?
  14. I'd be worried about the money too!! With that said, perhaps a more subtle approach next time, Mr. Watkins? Getting the "agent" involved is always a weenie look.
  15. I never can tell with Woods because he's one of those players that seems to run really hot. Lot's of people have noticed his body language, but he's always blocking and playing hard to the whistle. Most guys that don't get the ball just quit.
  16. These are the days I kind of feel bad for the hosts. They have to listen to a lot of repetitive drivel. Lots of revisionist history story-lines today.
  17. Hopefully our coaches are game-planning against his slow ass. Big liability there imo.
  18. We're legit underdogs for the first time all year in my mind other than the Patriots game. And that match-up had too much outside noise. Let's see how Rex gets the team in game mode this week with few, if any, giving us much of a shot to win. We really need Sammy back, though.
  19. Yeah it's pretty freaking good. You've been spoiled by high sack counts the past two years. Before the Titans game, the D was statistically better in many categories compared to a year ago. I doubt Sunday's game did anything to drop us down the "comparison" rankings.
  20. Not sure who wanted them, but putting Moore back on punt returns is risky IMO. Guys that on what are essentially one-week tryouts are going to push the envelop. His first punt return he got nailed after not calling a fair catch. Trying to make something out of nothing can hurt the team.
  21. He played in 72% of the teams snaps in 2014. I don't think percentage of snaps have anything to do with his bonehead plays.
  22. Props to Gilmore on sealing the game. Loved how he broke off his man the second he saw MM throwing to the shorter of the two routes. We needed a big play and he delivered.
