  1. This should be the last post of the thread!! $20 bucks says if Littman was still around this thread only gets 15 pages. He'd have screwed something up.
  2. Isn't ebonics always a noun? And if it's not, Fergy, can I delete my post?
  3. That post might have got him even more crap than the pic of him and his daughter at Disneyland. Again, if you posted on his Instagram, it was directed at you. If not, you're all good.
  4. I find it hilarious that all the armchair English majors have come out (on a message board, no less) and taken aback with his writing/grammar skills. Also, because I'm stupid and will go to my grave thinking otherwise...please persuade me why the swapped pick counts as a second 1st rounder that we gave up in the trade. Why isn't it cancelled out by Cleveland's pick?
  5. I said the same thing...13 pages ago
  6. Yeah they are. A lot of people have adapted the "suck it up and deal with it because you make more money than me" mentality.
  7. Not your fault, but it's such a misplaced term in describing these guys. Professional how? I get it, be on time, talk to the press etc. These guys get a 2 day seminar on how to "be professional." They get lectures from Chris Carter for god's sake. A lot of these guys didn't come from the best backgrounds, they lack tact in dealing with simple matters.
  8. Social media's a weird thing. We pass judgements on people we've never met because "they said something" or "haven't lived up to OUR expectations." I try not to do that. We're all different. But $10 bucks says you cheer next time he scores. A lot of people like their athletes to "shut up" and work. People tend to view their lives of punching the clock as no different than that of an athletes. But I've always thought it a dangerous habit to compare "real world jobs" and pro athletes. They're not the same, not even remotely close. And it sucks IMO to make the connection/relationship with the players we root a purely fiscal one. It takes the fun out of sports and replaces enjoyment with jealously and resentment. Sammy will learn that it's not always the best idea to respond to fans. But lose respect for him, naw. I'm good. I'm still psyched we've got a talent like him and have got my fingers crossed these injuries will soon be a thing of the past.
  9. Yeah? You hate him now because he told a few knuckleheads to get a life?
  10. I'm missing the TO and Sammy comparison here. Bit of a stretch, no?
  11. Agreed. There's an alarming rate of dbags out there.
  12. Sometimes it's not the best idea to respond, but its gotta be tough to have a bunch of twitter tough guys calling you out. I mean, he's got a point.
  13. I'm not going to argue, and I'm too damn lazy to look it up. Hopefully the D picks it up to the point there's no argument whether or not Mario and company are worth holding on to. This might not be the case this time, but sometimes us Bills fans aren't use to the Corvette in the garage and would prefer the 1999 F-150. Go Bills. No argument here.
  14. What's the point? And I agree the fixation on sack numbers is absurd. But that's the whole reason the debate is ongoing. He's evaluated, right or wrong, based on this sole statistic. We've spent two years here trying to dispel this myth, and here it is again.
  15. I don't remember James Harrison or DeMarcus Ware dropping into coverage much. Your rationale stinks to be honest. He's a helluva player that's excelled in both 3-4 and 4-3 fronts. Rex's scheme just ain't helping him much.
  16. There shouldn't be too many ludicrous claims about Mario after this post. For that, I thank you.
  17. Gunner, I'm not comparing the two. Just reminding some that similar problems existed in a similar scheme. As yes, you are correct, without the QB pressure. I know I'm in the wrong place for accuracy, but dammit, a bit of Google before we post fond memories of two seasons ago when the Pats racked up 267 yds rushing on us. Them were the days!!!
  18. The whole Mike Pettine hero worshiping thing has gotten a bit out of hand. Go look at our rush defense that year. We were coming off a few years of watching some truly putrid defenses, and enter Mike Pettine. His teams blitzed a lot and were "sexy" to watch as they sacked the QB. But don't fool yourself, they were by no means a very good D like some make them out to be.
  19. Pretty much all the QBs coming out this year have warts. Even the ESPN guys (who at this time of the year usually have 6 QBs going in the top 10) are pretty luke warm about this year's class. Not a bad year to miss out IMO.
  20. I remember similar comments. He basically said how much he was looking forward returning to the business side of the team. On a side note...Just imagine if everyone this board proposed to fired were actually fired. After the bye week we'd have Rex, Whaley, Brandon, Roman and Thurman all looking for work. My only thought is, how in the hell did Overdorf escape these mass executions? Get your sh#t straight Bills fans.
  21. You mean the 65 yard run after the catch and stiff arm? Watch that replay closely, Tebow throws it behind D. Thomas. But yeah...
