  1. The roster was not built for a "Rex defense." I'll withhold judgment until after next season as I surmise we're about to see a fairly large roster overhaul on the defensive side of the ball. It's been evident for most of the season. Now this doesn't excuse Rex for not being more malleable with his approach to the D. For that he deserves criticism. Bu part of me thinks he realized he needed to be stubborn to his scheme in order to enact change. Of course, this sucked more for us than anyone.
  2. Tough as hell, too. Jville and Houston games both saw Shady take HUGE hits and get back into the game.
  3. Crap article. Sounds like he was a bit sad everyone forgot who he was. Glad he half-mentions he wasn't the same player in Buffalo that he was in San Diego.
  4. You'll see the remainder of this season and probably half of next season. JMO. And any contract we offer him will be the "new QB" contracts that sound all fancy but protect the team in case the player pulls a Kaep.
  5. If you're complaining about Leodis as a 3rd QB, look elsewhere. The overall health of the secondary is a problem, however. With Gilmore banged up and Darby looking like it's preseason, Brooks (out?) and Robey don't make me feel all warm inside.
  6. I haven't seen him drop a ball this year other than that. I have seen him haul in a lot of bad throws, particularly when EJ was in.
  7. If I was Jim Schwartz's agent, I'd be clipping snippets of TBD from the past few weeks or so. Dude is obviously irreplaceable. Maybe Schefter should even stop by and get some pro-Marrone stuff for his next "Names I'm hearing being discussed in front offices for potential head coaching vacancies" segment.
  8. With who? This was one area we went into the season a bit thin on if injuries became a problem...which, they did.
  9. Also sad if it came down to the moron behind Rex telling him to pass on the challenge.
  10. I always assumed that their feed is similar to the jumbotron. I have no idea what they look at. Curious if anybody does here???
  11. The boys are ready for a brawl.
  12. Yup, I'd agree with that. Glenn is another issue. I was firmly in the camp during the preseason that had him packing his bags come seasons end. I've began to change my mind. I think he's been a stud this season.
  13. I feel this is like The Office episode where Andy wants to leave to become an actor. Everyone encourages him not to, because he's pretty talentless but he does it anyway. I want to tell Dan Snyder this, but I know he wouldn't listen. Don't do it Dan!
  14. Yup, and it's often more than that. They'll spread $20,000-$30,000 easy over the max amount of entries in the big money games as well. I suppose this isn't "rigged", but you're playing against an algorithm.
  15. That's pretty cool, and congrats. You should keep $50 in just in case you get the itch to play again. Pretty good odds I would imagine you could turn that into like 2 million based off the TV adds.
  16. Ehhhh, fan behavior is bordering on that precipice. Fans attack other teams' fans every week and while I can't recall murders off the top of my head, some horrible stuff leaving people permanently injured have occurred. I disagree. Goodell would be ousted and people would rejoice. For better or worse, the NFL is our FIFA, and despite all the warts, it doesn't look like much will slow it down anytime soon.
  17. It says the two guys who have their names above him on the website pulled rank. One picked TT as the starter, while the other traded MC. Doesn't make what he said incorrect.
  18. HATERS GONNA HATE, HATE, HATE!!! JUST SHAKE IT OFF... Oh, Peter King is awesome and a must read for me.
  19. It'll be interesting to see how Leodis factors into the game-plan this week as well. He provides flexibility if they do decide to put 24 on Gronk.
