  1. Sadly, that would be a 15yd penalty today. Probably.
  2. Totally disagree that play would've been 6. Woods would've stepped on the sideline. Admit it.
  3. Head up, John. Only place to go is up! After such a stinker, I'm weirdly excited for a Thursday night game this week. One observations regarding TT was that he was woefully inaccurate yesterday even on many completions.
  4. I mean, he put it in a book he wrote about those Cowboy teams. It wasn't some off hand remark. Skip is a total moron, but he's moved needles at ESPN the past few years when TV ratings outside of live events have dipped. It's why ESPN has cut ties with numerous well-respected (and well-paid) hosts over the past couple of years but chose to make an aggressive offer to resign Bayless.
  5. He basically took a huge payday to disappear into the abyss of FS1. Only time I end up over there is for soccer. Skip is a race baiting, slanderous buffoon. Very true. Just an unlikable face. His brother Rick is a very accomplished celebrity chef in Chicago. Helped to promote high-end Mexican food in the US. He is the exact opposite of Skip. He smiles, laughs and likes a margarita or three. I read an article profiling the two brothers. It didn't shock me to find out they haven't spoke in years.
  6. Exactly. And the article was damn good. Nuanced. Balanced. Not your typical national media puff piece.
  7. The least believable part of this isn't paragliding or eating Joe Flacco. It has to be Rob Ryan running 92yds.
  8. First world problems? Wait, I think I used that wrong... But seriously, excellent article. TG is in mid-season form and many here soiled themselves because they got blocked on Twitter.
  9. Weird, I think he's an extremely patient runner. One of his greatest strengths is waiting for creases to open up and then exploit at high speed.
  10. You can't compare fake life (NFL, NBA etc) to real life (factories etc). The same rules don't apply to both.
  11. That's interesting. Daily basis is pretty sad. He looks like a substitute teacher on a Friday. EJ and TT look good. I dress like Cardale around Christmas time when I add a few lbs.
  12. I laughed at this. I shouldn't have because it's not funny, but I had the same realization after I moved back.
  13. Yes it is. A bunch of angry Polish, Italians and Irish don't hold their tongue well after a few pops. Two gents behind me at Bengals game last year reinforced this notion for me. EJ started that game, you can imagine the diarrhea coming out of their mouths.
  14. Other than the man himself, he's pretty much the reason Andre's in the HOF. Far from a hack.
  15. I'll take 4 quarters of Flutie over 1 quarter of Ph-eeeeel Sims.
  16. A) A bit of a generalization, but certainly there's truth to this. B) Such as? Not being contrarian for the sake of it, but Jim Crow was still rampant in the south. Schools were segregated. I'm not well versed on the economic indicators you speak of, but socially, it's hard to argue it's worse now than in 1962. And this is from someone who thinks the racial divide in the US is still huge.
  17. Depending on perspective (this entire debate is dependent upon this), being apathetic could be construed as not giving a fu@k. Depending on perspective, live and let live could be construed as not giving a fu@k. That's all I was saying.
  18. This is another way of saying " live and let live."
  19. Over 200 years of slavery, followed by decades of segregation policies. Comparing the injustices done to others will always fall short imo.
  20. Ahhhhh, the old white guy wanting to know where his special day is.
  21. Jesus, you guys are harsh. He's been ok, wouldn't say brutal. Think about your first week on the job. Sidenote: Coller and Jones was 10x better than Murph, who may be the worst interviewer on the radio.
