  1. When have the Browns hinted they were "open" to dealing #1?
  2. I think Rosen fits into the elite processing ability. Not so sure about the quick feet part. But then again, half my friends are Giants fans, and they'd tell you Peyton may as well have been Usain Bolt compared to Eli.
  3. I've said this from day 1, too. Wouldn't be surprised if Haslem has made it known its mandatory at 1. I think he's excellent, just can't see him going 1 for obvious reasons. Giants might trade out at 2, and just signed Stewart. Three is prime trade-up territory for a number of teams. Four makes sense. Broncos are prime QB candidates. I'd love him to go to the Jets, because it would mean they're putting a band-aid on their QB situation. It'll be interesting.
  4. I think if Barkley isn't taken at 4, he could slip to the Bucs. Not really a bold prediction, I just think the Barkley hype train is a bit out of whack at present.
  5. There's no way the new regime doesn't take QB at #1. That's why there's a new regime, because the guys before them didn't pull the trigger. So you're saying the Browns are going to pass on the best player to play the most difficult position in all of pro sports, because they traded for TT so they can groom a less talented player to play the most difficult position in all of pro sports.
  6. The market cooled on him. Probably pretty cheap?
  7. I know its been popular of late, but I can't get behind Cleveland passing on a QB at #1.
  8. I would think Beane wants it done ASAP.
  9. Polian was never a fan of numbers.
  10. Me too. 12, 22, 56 and 96 get you to #2. Also lets the team keep their higher 2nd and 3rd round picks.
  11. I think the Giants have been the target.
  12. I'm torn on this. He's a damn good player.
  13. Fully guaranteed 1 year deal w/ an option for a second season versus whatever Cousins is trying to hold them ransom for. Brees all day for me.
  14. Bombs to Gordon, check-downs to Landry. Seriously, these are what Tyrod does best. I think he'll be ok next year.
  15. Some of my best work and all my warnings on TBD were in this state.
  16. McVay was impressive in his first year. But if he proved anything, looks like he's a system guy over force feeding an individual talent. Goff basically said the same himself. They like to spread it around and have a RB taking balls away, too. LA might not be the best for him if he want a high volume of targets.
  17. I like it too. Bills should still add a back in the draft. Let him learn behind a few vets. Don't want some rookie missing a blitz pick-up on Rosen's blindside next season.
  18. Agreed. Giants will want draft capital, not $10+ mil cap hits.
  19. Haha. Fair enough. For the record, I think he was a good GM. He just happened to inherit a lot of the faces we all associate with the glory years.
  20. He was a good GM, no doubt. But Bill Polian didn't draft Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Darryl Talley, Frank Reich etc. Rumor has it, Marv was the one who picked Tasker off waivers. Timing is everything, and Polian came into a crappy situation in Buffalo just as things began to look up. But I'll give him credit, his record in Buffalo makes him look like a genius compared to his time in Indy.
  21. This is a bunt. I'm hoping the we finally take a swing for the fences.
