    No, it matters. Again, not as much as people make it out to be. But much of the competition in college sucks. Combine numbers/testing is a useful piece of the puzzle.

    Correct. But I don't think the public is outraged. Right or wrong, if Kraft is proven to have no knowledge of a sex trafficking ring, this will be forgiven and forgotten. 90% of Boston is probably willing to provide an alibi contradicting his whereabouts the day of the sting.

    Goodell will only go hard on Kraft if the other 31 force his hand. I don't see this happening. But if Jones, Kroenke, Mara/Tisch, Rooneys et al lobby against him, Goodell will know he can hammer Kraft. I'll gladly admit I'm wrong if I'm reading the situation incorrectly.

    Don't underestimate the value of being 1 of 32. Of course its a business, but there's a reason why franchises aren't flipped like houses.

    There is a hierarchy among the owners and Kraft is right near the top. His strongest allies will not force him out. He's in the club. As you say, he'll receive the PR punishment.

    IDK, you're reasoning is solid. But I think Goodell lets him off with a minor penalty. I don't think Roger wants to pick a fight with Kraft again.
