  1. Stripped down, the DNA of Thrones is people talking to people. Some interactions might seem slightly forced given the time constraints, but I'd hardly argue this was exposition for exposition's sake.
  2. Ayra wanted some D the night before the big battle. Nothing awkward about that.
  3. Agreed. Great little article about the song here, https://www.theringer.com/game-of-thrones/2019/4/21/18510448/season-8-episode-2-jennys-song-jon-daenerys-foreshadowing
  4. I'm picking nits. He never was a warrior poet, but he wasn't a buffoon either.
  5. Nice episode. I enjoyed it immensely. A lot of these characters won't be in Episode 4. My only gripe is the shows decision to turn Tormund into comic relief. He's become nothing more than a 'bit, and I don't like that.
  6. Some of the places on the prior list will make the cut. Quite a few people have Gabriel's Gate as the best wings in the city. Kid would be fine there. Lenox Grill, too.
  7. The draft was always Kiper and Berman for me. Kiper's schtick doesn't bother me. Plus, with Mayock out at NFLN, ESPN's coverage will be better, too. I really can't stand Deion.
  8. Cersei has a contract on Jaimie's head. I doubt he's loyal to her. Also, we need to separate the Lannister's from Cersei at this point. They're different entities.
  9. The Umber's castle. It's the furthest north, closest to the wall.
  10. Maybe start at the top of Elmwood Ave and work your way to downtown (north to south). Start at Cole's Thin Man Lenox Grill Gabriel's Gate Colter Bay Founding Father's as to replenish with some free nachos Big Ditch End at Swannie House. These places all have solid food options, too. Enjoy!
  11. Solid start to the season I thought. A little too popcorn at times, but it did a good job overall of getting most of the main characters on screen and setting the stage for things to come. I read one review which said they were "reasonably satisfied." I thought that summed up my feelings too.
  12. Hear me out. End each practice with a Josh Allen throwing contest. Give Tre White a 30yd handicap. My money's still on JA. Viewers will love this.
  13. I thought of this, but he must've signed off on the Bill's own version of Hard Knocks this past camp. Probably not quite as intrusive, though.
  14. I root for it every year. Not sure I buy the "distraction" element of it.
  15. This thread could exist with 95% of the football talking head community.
  16. You realize Beane could blow every draft over the next 5 years, and as long as he hits on Allen, we'll consider him good? You know why? Because the team will probably be good because they have a QB. I understand the excitement, but it seems prudent to hold off anointing him one of the best in the league at this point of his tenure.
  17. I just found out this is the dude slamming beers at the Preds games with his shirt off. I've always wanted that guy on the Bills.
  18. I follow the NBA pretty closely. Avery Johnson was a bad NBA coach who was a bad NCAA coach. It wouldn't surprise me if Oats has that team in the tourney next season. The big difference now is he'll have the horses to make a run.
  19. I became an Alabama bball fan today. Nothing but respect for Oats.
