Would Bills Fans Cheer an Injured Opponent?

Yup, that's BS. No argument there. -
Would Bills Fans Cheer an Injured Opponent?

Maybe the PEDs, not sure though. But I always thought Edelman was the type of player that checks all the boxes for most Bills fans. -
Yeah, I follow soccer as close as I do the Sabres or Bills. All that clip shows me is a bunch of ex players up on their pedastals saying how they would’ve acted different (probably w a producer in their ear reminding them Canada needs an image boost, so let’s play the humility card!!) I’m still waiting on names. Or I’ll presume your comment is simply based on the celebrations of today? But a serious question. Given your beefs today, who’s crappier? The city of Toronto or the USWNT?

Who are the jackasses? Hope Solo, sure. I suppose Wambach was cold, hardly a jackass.

Nurse has coached a perfect series until last night. His timeout was his first WTF decision and it helped cost them the game. Still think the Raptors close this out.

That's crappy for the breed and probably true. Curious where German Shepards would factor in this discussion if they weren't police dogs and middle class America didn't view them as acceptable pets. My parents always had shepards and hey were azzholes. My parents were average(-) pet owners in terms of training and attention.

Dudeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. No. You're making it so easy to defend the "it's the owners, not the breed" point of view. Pit bulls (is it even a breed classification?) have suffered from moronic owners who think their dog's are bad ass. Often, these are the same owners who encourage bad behavior in their dogs.

Same here. The men's game has been so strong for the past 15 years. A verifiable golden era.

I remember hearing about her during the Aussie Open. Didn't think she'd be making a run to the semis in a major already, especially on clay. But hell, the bracket's wide open and there for the taking.

Best BBQ in the Buffalo Area?
stony replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Just expected beef to reign supreme in Texas. Happy to see pork get a seat at the table. This Coopers was in downtown Austin. -
We have a rescue pit mix and he's the man. Kind, gentle and great with kids. Biggest doggy dick you'll ever see. Sad to read these stories, but pits are unfortunately more involved in "snapping" than other breeds. I do heavily subscribe to "its the owner, not the breed." There's a lot of people who say they're good pet owners who really aren't.

Best BBQ in the Buffalo Area?

We got in line at 7:15 am and ate by 12:15. Probably ~50 people in line already. Polished off a couple of six packs to get the appetite going. All hyperbole aside, it was the best BBQ I've ever had. We met back up with the larger group that night and went to Cooper's for dinner. A couple of the guys had been before and said it was really good. It was very inferior. Our order was 1 lb of brisket which as you said was excellent. We were going to go all fatty but he recommended we get some lean too. Very happy we did, it was better than the moist. 1 beef rib about ~2lbs worth, 1 lb of pork ribs, 1/4 lb turkey and a few links of sausage. I'd say brisket and surprisingly pork ribs were my favorite. Turkey was a sleeper, really good. Overall, great time. Glad we did it. -
It's an encouraging thought, but how many of these upscale patrons would rather watch a game at home or with their friends? I still think the best reason to attend a game (especially in Buffalo) is for the pregame festivities, an experience you can't replicate at home. If these fans aren't going for this social atmosphere, I don't think a new stadium is likely to bring them out.

What happened to Scott Berchtold?
stony replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I saw him berate a student volunteer at SJF a couple of summers ago. He was talking in a group which included JK and his daughters. He left the group and walked over to the kid and laid into him pretty loudly. Seems like a great guy. -
Totally agree. All plans went out the window 30 seconds in. But even through my red-tinted glasses, both teams seemed a bit off. I'll say this, it was a professional performance from the back 4. Matip and VVD were sensational. Alisson worth every cent. There was a brief moment Son made a run late on and had VVD on his back hip. By the time I blinked he had caught up and neutralized it. I'm a happy guy.

If you're a Bonvoy/Marriott guy and wanna stay downtown, you're covered. Starting on Delaware a bit north of the CBD at a newly renovated Residence Inn; heading south towards Chippewa you've got a Westin and ending up in the arena district with a Courtyard and the HarborCenter (Marriott).

Tottenham were shite. Liverpool were less shite. We had Virgil Van Dijk (great new chant?) Kind of a crap game, but Tottenham had mostly wasted possession. Still think it was dumb to start Kane. 3 week gap screws this game up. #YNWA

My family used to rent a place on Osgood for a couple summers in the mid-90s. It had this little crow's nest lookout up on a hill overlooking the lake. Great views, awesome place.
