  1. No. It's just humorous that the majority of posters think that Brady and the Pats are bound for an epic collapse this year. Or that the Dolphins will finish with 3-4 wins. I just don't get it. Hope I'm wrong.
  2. +1. But he's been overrated for the past 3 years and their about to experience their downfall...
  3. I think Roscoe is 3rd, no? Either way, after Stevie I suppose any depth is a welcome addition. I find it odd that people consider WR a position of depth. More like a position of potential.
  4. Agree with everything you said. People's last image of him will be his drop in the playoffs, but he can help this young group. If it means risking losing Easley on the PC, I'm all for it. Hopefully his injury history will keep other teams away. And you're entirely correct about the message it sends to the vets. It revives the notion that this team (if the chips fall into place) can win sooner than later.
  5. No problem. It seems Merriman is hell-bent on on enjoying his time in Buffalo regardless of nightlife opportunities. He actually text's a girl that works with me on a regular basis from a time he met her out last year. She lets me read the messages and there is some funny stuff in there.
  6. Yeah. Screw the guy who wants the Bills to stay in Buffalo. Screw him...
  7. Merriman tweeted he was going out, and considering he isn't playing on Saturday it isn't that far-fetched.
  8. You do realize that Torbor, Poz, Ayodele, and Kelsay started significant amounts of time last season.
  9. I really think having Wanny as a coach is like having an extra player compared to the guy we had last year. It seems as if the hybrid will be in full force this season putting him even more in his comfort level too.
  10. To group JP and Trent with those guys is just silly. Sanchez can be bad for 3 quarters, but actually shines in tough moments. And Romo is better then em all, he just has difficulty holding onto field goal snaps...
  11. Yeah. People on this board have been saying the Pats have been on the decline for the last 5 years. They'll be better than they were last year. Sucks, but as Bills fans get ready to deal with it. Leading teams on last second drives in Superbowls with inferior talent doesn't qualify as growing into a leadership role? He's actually done less with more recently as opposed to those early Superbowl teams. It's easy to hate Brady, but we'd all love for him to be our QB. If this happened in training camp, everyone would be saying "Damn, Fitzy finally got fed up with the oline and flipped out." Or if Eric Wood did something similar, people would applaud him for it.
  12. I know it's taken by the Saints/Cincy, but considering no one knows who these guys are..."Who Dey?"
  13. I hope he did, and I'm glad (if he did) the Bills accommodated. I will root for them this year, especially against the Steelers.
  14. They will be a borderline top 5 defensive team. Those types of teams will win more than 2-4 games. I don't think Miami will be anything special, but 7-9 is closer to what they will be. If Henne has a decent season, they will challenge for a WC. We are in a super tough division.
  15. Agreed. Even if we keep Brown (which I think is the prudent move), he still doesn't have to dress on game days. Just insurance I suppose. I really like Smith and am pumped to see him contribute to the offense.
  16. Definitively not, but at least there would have been some food in the cupboard when he left. I think Orakpo would have started slowly but really come into his own last year when we switched to the 3-4. This upcoming season would have been his 12sack, pro-bowl season. And when I mean "started slowly," his rookie season would have consisted of 16 games played and around 5 sacks.
  17. Ahhh yes, Donte's one memorable hit during his tenure in Buffalo. I do remember that. But I think we can discount last season as the "TO Effect" and give him the benefit of the doubt that Owens was screwing the flow of that offense up. Is he as good as he was 4yrs ago. No. Do I think Brady will resurrect his career (if indeed he has ever bottomed-out)? Yes. 70rec, 1000yds. You're right, Haynesworth is the big wild card here. But people thought Randy Moss was done w/ before he came to NE. It's amazing how vets got there and get excited about the game again. No distractions there, or you get cut.
  18. I'll give you Housh, but to say Ochocinco hasn't been productive is simply incorrect, especially in that clusterf@#k of an organization in Cincy. A motivated Haynesworth is not someone I want to face twice a year either.
  19. Agree on everything except Spiller. Looks like Chan has made a concerned effort to get him more involved in space. Wouldn't surprise me if he has 5-6 catches game.
