  1. 30 pass attempts, 23 rushes. Pretty balanced. And last week, 35 rushes 27 passes. Gailey likes to run the ball just fine.
  2. And what would be the argument when the Giants have 1min 45sec and 2 timeouts left and win the game? I understand this is all revisionist BS at this point, but kicking a 40+ yd FG isn't easy either. We'd all be crying about the fact that "Chan didn't get aggressive enough and he should have known our defense couldn't stop them if they got the ball back" if they ended up scoring a TD.
  3. Where are you getting this from? These were not deep balls for god's sake. They were 25 yd passes that he should have put more air under or thrown sooner. Simple as that. It has nothing to do with arm strength.
  4. Or just throw a relatively easy pass down the sideline ahead of your WR... It's easy to go all "what if" but the bottom line is, Gailey was going for the win. I can live w/ that and especially knowing that the play wasn't a bad read by Fitzy, it was just a poorly thrown ball. We'll get that one next time.
  5. Giants are a team that can turn it on and off seemingly whenever. This is a very scary game because when Eli is on and their pass rush is in full force, they are a very dangerous team. Matchup kinda reminds me of the Vikings game last year when their dline just abused us. I feel like our oline is light years ahead of where it was last year, but still scared. Pray that Tuck sits. Osi and Paul-Pierre will bring heat on Fitz regardless. I think Bill's win but it's gonna be a close one.
  6. Stole the words out of my mouth. Circumstance dictates a lot.
  7. Part of the reason why we have ran the ball so well thus far is because we have done it out of non-traditional sets. Teams have been off-balanced trying to figure out what we're going to do next. Maybe our oline isn't that good and if we did resort back to a "traditional" set they would be exposed.
  8. Seriously though, what is a "real running package" these days anyhow? Teams can, and do successfully run out of many packages nowadays that are different that traditional running personnel packages.
  9. Amen to that. I'll be in town this weekend and am seriously considering heading down to the Ralph just to soak in the atmosphere even w/o tickets. There's something cool about being in the lots when its 75 out in October/November. One of the better/most surreal times I've ever experienced at a Bills game was back around 2005/06 (I think) the Bills played the Jags at home the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was one of JP's best games leading the Bill's to a last second FG, but it was 65 degrees out in late November. Just so cool at that time of year.
  10. Sooo, based on your "logic" we should beat the Giants then. And we did beat the Chiefs. I'm confused w/ what you're trying to say. Regarding Philly, I still think their a good team, they just don't have a run defense and their corners are playing woefully under their skill level. McCoy scares the piss out of me too.
  11. Me too. One prime time game is sweet, otherwise 1pm is the best for me.
  12. So true. All my buddies from college have been asking the 411 on Fitzy too.
  13. I'd put Williams on him. Not like he could do any worse than Corner in seasons past. Perhaps Williams can use his size/strength to disrupt his timing w. Brady.
  14. If the Bills win and Freddy has a big game, it'll say "III-0, Buffalo Shocks NE Behind Coe College Product Fred Jackson" And god I hope we don't rush the field.
  15. Trust me, I'm a riot. Just pointing out that Pats don't need much to get psyched up to kick our azzes again. Also, this is a perfect example where a popular Bills player says something and it gets applauded when if another player said it, we'd all collectively be telling him to keep his mouth shut.
  16. I agree w/ everything you wrote. What Williams said is so insignificant/legit during most game weeks, but against the Pats...
  17. Bulletin board material, nice. Not like the Patriots need it or anything.
  18. I can't wait for BB to talk up the Bills today and instead of refering to Josh Reed (as he did last season) he thinks David is Shawn Nelson. Ha.
  19. Go back and look at last years tape, BJGE killed us on the final drive when we needed a stop. The Pats can run. And if we need guys who can cover first, why did you take out our two best cover-safeties and put in a hybrid S/LB and a rookie?
  20. 1. Stevie 2. Jones 3. Nelson 4. Namaan/Spiller 5. Chan will have fun
  21. BOHICA Bills Fans Sorry, Bend over here it Comes again. Go Bills!
