  1. Have Bruce accompany Buddy and Co. on the morning of FA and put the hard sell on. Have Bruce wear his HOF jacket and have him take it off to let Mario "try it on." Bruce would never do this, I know...
  2. Yes. Trading the pick most likely so Fisher can go about rebuilding w/ as many picks as possible.
  3. Foles is legit from what I saw when he played. He was always running for his life cause his line was horrible. Its tough for Arizona to compete with USC/Oregon so he gets a bit less publicity imo.
  4. Is Freeny even an option? I hadn't heard he was available.
  5. DreReed83 was a malicious dbag of a poster (every poster is welcome to their opinion but he was chronically devoid of reason and/or politeness)...but he knew everything about every draft prospect and more specifically, what was going through their respective minds on specific plays during games...Just ask him, he'll tell you.
  6. 1. Freddy broke his leg. Nothing is wrong w/ his knee. 2. Disagree. Teams do reward players who have outperformed contracts (see Chris Johnson). Its not common, but it happens. Unfort the NFL is more known as the league that screws guys over instead of rewarding them when they play well. Brady took less 5? years ago and got his big payday this year too.
  7. Interesting Take These observations might look a bit familiar. Kinda funny too.
  8. Our sack totals are misleading. Our entire offensive scheme was devised in part because our tackles stink. Really stink. I'm not a Fitz apologist, and he's too classy to go all "Jets" on his oline, but maybe if he didn't feel the need to gamble all the time he's have 5-6 less INTs than he did. And maybe if he didn't have scrubs for WR, accurate passes wouldn't turn into tipped balls because many of our WRs seem to lack the fundamentals of catching the ball. I'll give Nix a pat on the back for Pears as insurance for Clabo. He was OK.
  9. Exactly. The man who bets against Peyton Manning is a stupid, stupid man. Manning and Brady in the same division is borderline unfair.
  10. So true. Funny thing, I'm sure front offices feel the same way about him after his cop-out on the Bengals.
  11. They'll get at least a 1st or a couple of 2nds for Manning after he requests a trade. Either way, he's gonna have picks to work with. I just don't think you can ever pass up a potential franchise QB (Luck). If Whaley leaves, Ralph needs to bring back the Polians to right the ship. Chris would be our long-term GM in this scenario. Of course, this would never happen...
  12. Bingo. Re-sign Stevie, add a legit talent across from him and all of a sudden 7.5 will look like a bargain when Stevie avgs. 90rec for the next 5 years.
  13. Exacty. And instead of making him lead a whos-who corps of WRs, you draft a quality guy to actually help him.
  14. But then again it would be pretty freaking stupid to judge a NT on sacks, right?
  15. And Kelsay. Can't believe I just typed it but it's true. If this season has told me anything, it's that TBD fan favorite's like Arthur Moats will never have a career close to Kelsays.
  16. Do you know this for a fact? It could be because the Eagles promised him a deal and then reneged after the went out and signed other team's players instead of their own. Babin, Jenkins, Nnamdi, Vince Young...That's bad business, precisely the type of thing that could piss of players. And as far as the attitude thing, all the high-character guys we've had throughout the years have done what for us? Perhaps we need some of his attitude here.
  17. I hate it when Bills fans are adverse to adding ultra-talented players and decide to pick out every single negative. I swear half of TBD should be political staffers because they're so good at vetting all every player in the league knowing at all times, what is going through their minds, their childhood situations, and minute-by-minute motives that drives that person to succeed or subsequently fail.
  18. I agree. He's a guy that with his RAC ability would make all these slants and shorts passes very dangerous.
  19. I'm glad someone mentioned that. Nelson escapes a lot of criticism IMO and while it wasn't the final drive in the game, still was a bad drop.
  20. Hence the reason why I said he played good. Seriously though, he tried to bat down the ball to save an INT and it took a freak bounce right into his hands. He is still awkward going up for balls (as is Donald Jones). Dropped a bomb earlier in the game too. Just pointing out what I saw. Any team with Brad Smith as their #2 is going to be hurting. The comparisons stop w/ Burress after the long arms. No way he ever makes a one-hander like Plax did along the side lines.
  21. I would have liked Nelson to be the one running that deep corner route at the end of the game instead of Brad Smith. He played good but is clearly awkward in positions like that when he has to go up for a ball. C'est la vie.
  22. So a buddy at work (non-Bills fan) asks me in all seriousness if he thinks that Ralph would ever tell the team to tank it against the Fins this week so it further knocks them out of the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. I didn't know how to respond.
  23. It stinks when 5 out of the top 10 replays are dunks, but you're off base saying players are bad shooters. It's a soft argument because players are way better athletes today than they were 20 years ago. Pressure defense has changed everything, making the pure "spot-up" shooter a thing of the past. The best college shooters rarely ever make in in the NBA becuase they only bring a one facet to the game. Regarding the OP, yes I love all sports. NBA, NCAA Hoops, NHL, MLB (playoffs), golf majors, tennis, you name it and I'll watch it.
  24. Quit now, you'll feel better. You hate Ryan Miller too. No?
