  1. The Bills D could be real nice this year. But what are we talking about? Top 5, 10, 15? I could see 13-17 which would be a huge upgrade. I'm nervous about big Kyle Willaims coming back this year at 100%. Fingers crossed.
  2. C'mon Dogma. You're stretching for this one here a bit. No? And I did google it. Never occurred for me to look up something he didn't win.
  3. Saves money for Freddy, Byrd, and Levitre. And allows the young guns to get reps, this according to Buddy today.
  4. When was this? I seriously can't remember.
  5. Well he hasn't been a pro-bowler yet and to be honest, he's been hurt his fair share as well. Two season ending injuries in four years?
  6. We're green at CB, but I think it's a very talented green.
  7. It probably had something to do with the fact you compared him to Leodis. Not the way to inspire confidence.
  8. It's nice for someone to actually come back to Buffalo and take a pay cut. He's very solid at what he does, glad he's back. After we go 13-3 this year, FAs won't even need Jimbo to sell them on the area and will do the same...
  9. It's great that Freddy will see some extra coin, but it's really nice to see (I'm assuming of course) that Levitre and Byrd are in their plans to be extended. If the Bills start winning some more, Levitre will become a common fixture at the Pro Bowl or whatever they're gonna do now that they won't be going to Hawaii. Smart move. Best of luck Drayton. Young guys, time to step up. Just another storyline that will make this season that much more interesting.
  10. What makes you think he won't start if he makes the team? Weirdly enough, if he isn't a salary cap casualty, he'll be a starter over Anderson I would guess. Or I should ask, given your expertise in watching game film, what about Mark Anderson makes him that much more of a viable option than Kelsay to be a 3-down DE? I just think this is the most warped logic/wisdom Ive ever heard.
  11. Good post Turbo. I too think Kelsay will be the Week 1 starter opposite Mario. I think he'll split time with Anderson throughout the year, but Kelsay will defiitely be a player this year. His depth will be the reason why he doesn't get cut. Its nice having a position of strength instead of one of weakness for once.
  12. I obviously didn't articulate myself well enough. Take two... If a silver lining can be found in these tragic events, its that players start to realize the game is ridiculously violent and what the commissioner is trying to do is actually help/ cut down on the violence and subsequent injuries later in life. Sarcasm is awesome but don't try to put words in my mouth by saying he is besides himself with glee. We all know keyboards can't articulate emotion and thought as well as we'd like.
  13. I know this is shoddy to say, but you've got to think Goodell might have been happy for this news considering all the flack he was getting fro players regarding the Saints suspensions today. If, and I know its a big if, Seau's suicide turns out to be football/concussion related, this should really help validate what the league is trying to do for player safety. This has got to hit home for all players young or old.
  14. Kelsay has played longer than Williams. Vets, well-respected ones at that, don't have to give up anything they don't want to. Also, as for the jersey, if he switches #s he is financially liable for the unsold Kelsay jerseys out there.
  15. I've never heard him be called that. You're obviously labeling him this to further your claim he is useless. Wait to week 12 when we're down a few guys to injuries to see how useless he really is.
  16. Well "I not care" for your personality either...I think we all agree Kelsay is overpaid, but if you can get over that, what you have is a good 4-3 DE when his hand is down. No, he'll never get you 10 sacks, but he's also not the player the team made play OLB for the past two seasons. He's was actually really solid at the end of the year when we switched back to the 4-3. And how is it childish to tell the new member of the team you're not giving up your #? It's actually pretty classy on both parts if you ask me.
  17. Exactly. Why bring him in and risk screwing up this. Pro athletes are extremely competietive so he's not just going to come in and take the proverbial backseat w/o a fight. As for his behavior, he was a notorious partier w/ some fights at clubs to his credit. I also remember some very douchy photos of him at clubs w/ his shirt off. He also was known as a guy who was last in and first out. Also, he is a one-read type of QB that doesn't go through all of his progressions before he takes off and runs. Lastly, he WANTS to start. Sure, he'll probably say all the right things to get through the door, but after he's in he's going for the starting gig.
  18. Good post/info here. VY is a toxic mess who wants to start and is sure to mess up the good chemistry our losing team has actually been able to build up here. His 31-19 record is about as misleading as Tebows winning record is. The bottom line is, the NFL will never be a running QBs league. Young is a one-progression passer who takes off after one read. His accuracy sucks, as does his attitude and work ethic. Please say no Buffalo.
  19. In the infamous words of Lendale White..."Vince Young sucks"
  20. Doesn't Mario Wialliams cancel at least two of those out, and Mark Anderson at least one of them. So...according to my math, we're even?
  21. Watching Mayock rip off his suit coat and yell "Beast" to satiate the panel ie Michael Irvin and Deion (why the hell does he have a job) made me realize actually just how much better ESPNs coverage of the draft is. Yes, I just typed this.
