  1. How do you figure this? Byrd got screwed by this years pro-bowl snub. He was our best player on defense for the 2nd year in a row. He had finally turned into the all around safety we all wanted and now we just let him walk?
  2. He sure does know how to bulldoze acres upon acres of virgin Scottish dunes/shoreline. Nothing like manufacturing dunes to give something a natural feeling. Trump's a dbag.
  3. For sure. Definitely exciting to think who it might be. If I had to rank em, Pegula would top the list. Something tells me though, that Ralph might be most comfortable with Jacobs. Just a hunch.
  4. In his camp tours he always spent time w/ Brandon. If I had to bet, it would be him.
  5. Troup stinks, yes. Shep is avg. Carrington is personally responsible for like 15pts in blocked FGs this year. And blocks aside, he's actually turned into a player. Way too early to determine anything about Dareus. He was all-rookie his first season, had a rough 2nd.
  6. So true. As for Byrd returning punts, the Bills have "F'ed" up my thinking so bad that I actually thought he was put on ST to get hurt and drive his contract price down. It's so horrible and demented but it was actually the first think I thought of after I said "WTF is Jairus Byrd doing back there."
  7. Really? I can think of a lot of ways to describe the debacle of a decade, but Aaron Maybin is the person that really comes to mind?
  8. A bit of this too. Agree on all the others as well. Carrington was huge this year.
  9. Yeah, but according to all the board-certified, armchair psychiatrists on TBD, a traumatic event like this shouldn't affect his performance... He'll be fine. The way Chris Brown spoke of him today was telling. Basically asserted that he's by far the most talented player on the defense ahead of the likes of Mario, Byrd, etc..I don't wanna put words in his mouth, but it seemed like he was hinting the coaching was sub-par and teaching wasn't/isn't a huge part of the current staffs MO.
  10. Yeah, this is a very stupid claim on your part. Just off the top of my head I'll say Stevie is better than any WR on the Dolphins Jets Browns Jags Chargers Raiders Vikings Redskins Seahawks Rams Titans? Chiefs after Bowe leaves You can dwell on the negatives and forget some of the amazing catches he's had this year, not to mention how many more he'd have if his QB didn't miss him on so many occasions, or you could put into perspective how impressive three straight 1000yd seasons is. It's a feat than guys by the name of Reed, Lofton, and Moulds never accomplished. I see the irony must be lost within your deep, well-informed post regarding the topic. Well done.
  11. So he should've bought the new truck for the tax credit. Classy motives.
  12. Please lord let this be an indication my sarcasm meter is a bit off today.
  13. Yeah, Bills fans are keen for a ray of hope but no one is going out to buy jerseys/tickets based on an alledged meeting. Even Russ know's he couldn't sell that.
  14. Interesting. Not sure sure if I think size is a problem for him at 6' 2" but i agree neither is your prototype #1. Why do you say he is bad on the outside? That's where he plays the majority of the time and runs all those slants you mention. This has been his best year but Fitz has missed him so much we're not seeing his full potential.
  15. Really? I don't see any of Stevie in Wes and vice versa. Physically different too. Can you elaborate a bit?
  16. Who said they were mutually exclusive? You're pissing on the wrong tree. Your ridiculous analogy about Congress aside, I'm simply highlighting the strategy Nix outlined when asked why he didn't draft a QB early in his tenure. Never did I, nor would I suggest passing on Luck or RGIII.
  17. I'm thinking it was Chris who called Ralph's daughter the "c" word.
  18. Good points. I agree on most with the exception that we have a lot of holes to fill. I really think there's the necessary talent here aside from QB and LB. It's all hindsight at this point, but we can all agree there is a need for a QB badly.
  19. Not defending the QB situation here at all, but that's not a fair assessment. Nix has stated on numerous occasions he prefered to build the team up before drafting a young QB. He didn't want to bring a young QB with the roster he inherited. Now you can debate this strategy all you want, but think back three years ago and think how a rookie QB would have faired on our team.
  20. Whaley. Allow Nix to gracefully "retire" after the season which would in turn force Chan to pull a Mularkey and resign. Whaley needs a clean slate. Let's see what the guy can do.
