  1. Unfortunately there's no training program that could help Stevie corral more of Fitz's trademark wounded ducks. Now that would be a program worth buying into.
  2. Haha, the choking motion to the MSG crowd was timeless. But the funny thing is, Miller's stroke wasn't very pure. It was unorthodox but ridiculously effective.
  3. Reggie Miller never lifted weights and it not once affected his ability to talk smack with Spike Lee to the highest of standards.
  4. You're right on. You can add Adalius Thomas to the list too. He was overpriced and underperformed for them. Pats seem to have success unearthing nobody's instead of established "stars."
  5. I love all the "back in the old days, the shows were better" trips down memory lane. I don't know if they were better, they just didn't have Michael Irvin or Warren Sapp.
  6. I agree. Dalton has become a posterboy for the hindsight-TBDers who dwell on who the team could've picked. He's been average to me.
  7. I hear ya. I just think in a win now league, we offer a better chance to win now believe it or not. No, we do not offer a more stable ownership situation than the Browns. But I also don't think we're as bad as many point us out to be. Can't remember who mentioned it on twitter (NFL Net Guy), but he pointed out how much more attractive we were league-wide due to the Brandon shift. I'm a dreamer No Saint
  8. Im actually happy for the Browns because I feel there's a kindred spirit between our two sad-sack franchises, but..... If a running attack and OL are your MO and necessary for success, than what do the Browns offer that the Bill's can't? Our OL is custom tailored towards Chip's O. Fast. mobile, mean, tough, young, ang go figure...talented. If your Chip, do you want a super talented banger/between the tackle RB that is going to see his lifespan shortened due to his running style? Or do you want a freaking superfast budding superstar that will be a stud for the next 5 years? WTF?
  9. I wouldn't go that far. Remember some posters pre-season sack predictions. I remember a few like Mario w/16, Anderson w/11, Kyle w/8, Marcell w/9, and Merriman and Kelsay for good measure chipping in with 6-7 each.
  10. Of course it should, but who in your estimation should we pursue to fulfill this? A rookie?
  11. Good question, because not a lot strikes me off the bat. He's innovative and plays at a ridiculously high tempo which is a weapon in itself, but the whole "he's invented the wheel" thing going on is a bit much.
  12. I'm for this, I just want competition at the position. Luck is the only one w/o it but there's no Luck's in this years draft. Tannehill beat out Moore. Wilson beat out Flynn. Even RG3 had Cousins not that it mattered. This is the purpose Smith serves to me.
  13. People will crap on this, but I'm cool with it as long as we draft a QB in rds 1-3
  14. I can't remember, was Leinart just super bad or did he get hurt to re-open the door for Warner? I miss the "scandalous" photos of Leinart's ladies nonetheless.
  15. Correct. He had 6td to 4int in 10 games played. Team was 5-4 but he was by no means reminding anyone of St. Louis Kurt.
  16. I agree he was established by then, but...many people wrote him off after his time on the Giants. You're right on Leinhart, he was terrible, I just don't fault him for the effort. As for Wisenhunt, I like him because my gut tells me he'll build a legit staff. Personally I'd rather see a 1st timer looking to build his own legacy. I'm more interested in Horton than Wiz, but could do worse.
  17. Honestly, having CJ Spiller should put us on top. I'm not really even joking.
  18. So we're going to crucify Vermeil for keeping Warner on the bench for Trent Green too then, right? Stuff happens in the NFL all the time w/ injuries. I won't crap on Wisenhunt for giving a 1st Rd QB a chance to start and build a successful career. This was Brandon's "first question" when asked what he's likely to ask first. Perhaps some of the questionable staff hirings of the last regime are not lost on him.
  19. Horton is exactly the type of hire I'd love. And once again, Steelers ties.
  20. Nosaint, you've been quite the Richard Dietsch (sp) lately lol
  21. His ability to waste timeouts and challenges is legendary.
  22. Right about Donte. Poz's was similar, but he wanted 43 while we were still entertaining the 34.
