  1. I've read a lot of the same stuff regarding Wood. He's consistently the guy pointed to when Pro Bowl voting is being done as the "guy who deserves it, but won't make it cause he's on a bad team." It's such a reputation position too, you make one, you make eight.
  2. You just gotta get over what he is being paid. He's playing well, but if he doesn't get 20 sacks will he ever be worth it? Who cares. Not our money.
  3. What's so dysfunctional about it? Colin Brown stinks. Yes, we know.
  4. James Cameron. Hell of a director...Jordan Cameron? Best young TE in the game and absolutely untouchable. Gordon is a bit of a risk. Unless you're Megatron, Julio, Fitzgerald, Dez, D. Thomas, Marshall?? and maybe a couple more I'm not thinking of, you aren't getting a first round pick for ya. I'd be skeptical of giving a 3rd for him. And plus, I don't want anyone taking away from Woods development.
  5. Never thought you were. I was just asking it rhetorically. My bad.
  6. Agreed about Manuel, but can you blame him for wanting to come off as overly-polished. The hype-machine and drafting process for QBs in particular is brutal these days.
  7. Lots of memories to choose from, but I'll go with a rather nondescript game from the JP era. I was home from college for Thanksgiving break and we had one of those freak 65 degree blue sky days in late November. Just remember the weather, friends, nice tailgate and a last second field goal to give the Bills a victory over the Jags. Perfect day at the Ralph.
  8. That's what I thought. I think there's a lot of posters trying to manufacture some bulletin board material. Thing is, I don't think this team needs any if it really even existed. The offense wants to do well for EJ, EJ wants to do well for EJ, and the defense wants to do well for Pettine and make Geno look bad for EJ. All bases covered.
  9. Stevie's drop in game one really clouds how they might have used the clock. Game two, I thought Marrone burned the TOs perfectly.
  10. Yeah. Very well, too. Kiko specifically mentioned he and KW's play in relation to his strong start.
  11. I just really want Byrd back this week. I have this weird feeling that (based on last week) that Justin Rogers is going to get burned deep a couple of times by Stephen Hill. I don't want Geno highlights because Rogers suck and Searcy was slow over the top in coverage.
  12. I want A Williams as my in the box safety when/if Byrd comes back.
  13. I'd certainly think it's still an "open competition."
  14. Good analysis. I haven't even thought about Glenn which I think is a good thing. I've noticed Urbik playing well and also, it seems unanimous that Brown has been abysmal. Pears has been decent too IMO.
  15. No. His body of work to this point is his resume he "gives" to prospective employers. Everyone in the lead knows what he can do.
  16. On his second (or maybe his third I don't remember) I think he pulled out a mini-Deacon Jones head slap to dip inside. Loved it.
  17. Yeah he did. He's hideous in coverage, but I was pleasantly surprised with his run defense. More physical than I remember. Good for him considering he's been asked to switch positions 38 times since he was drafted.
  18. Did both of those last year for the game and had a blast. Went out to the bars after dinner and it was Bill's nation. Pretty cool.
  19. Would you leave 8 mil on the table? It's easy for the layman to assume they would, but unless one is in the position to do so we have no idea how we might act in that situation.
  20. Me either. He's pissed he didn't get his money, no doubt. But I don't think for a second there's malicious intent behind him not playing.
  21. Wilson got the crap kicked out him. Knocked down a lot. Carolina brings a lot of pressure with their front four. EJ should be ready to scramble.
  22. No, he played well. I'd grade the secondary as a whole as an 8/10. Can't be sure, but pretty sure Kiko kinda lost Amendola on his 2nd TD. Amendola and Edelman made some GREAT catches in very tough coverage. That's simply a case of HOF QB putting ball in the one spot the defensive player can't touch it and have your player make a tough catch. Also, Freddy played very, very well yesterday. Loved seeing him jawing at the Pat's LBs all game. Ran hard.
