  1. Probably his best throw of the day. Sammy didn't catch it cleanly which allowed the DB to make a nice play. It's a good thing he didn't catch it, The Ralph would have exploded and wasted a lot of tax payer money on the new renovations.
  2. Well, it would certainly make his legal proceedings easier to deal with.
  3. Nice breakdown of his stats vs. Buffalo. I would still be worried about that match-up given his experience and Henderson's lack of.
  4. No way Carpenter let's us lay a goose egg. I wish I could retweet this.
  5. If we win the kick off, I hope we take the ball. Because if we score, god have mercy on Miami on their first drive. If we force a couple of quick outs, life could be good.
  6. Agree about Miami. No more Tyson Clabo to abuse on. I expect a similar, albeit slightly more aggressive, game-plan this week against the Fins. Then again, Schwartz might decide to get after Tannehill given the noise. Silent snap counts, confused oline a half-second out of their stances is gonna be a fun one for the boys up front. Yeash!!
  7. Yeah, gotta admit that was one of the weaker mic'd ups we've had in a while. But that stiff arm…just nasty.
  8. Since the stadium is a bowl, and Buffalo smells like cereal, I like General Mills Bowl, home of the Buffalo Bills.
  9. Cathal Kelly & Steve Simmons. Two of the biggest Turds up in Toronto.
  10. Agreed, Leodis has been a better CB the past year than Gilmore has. I'll give Gilmore some room because of his injury, but he's been shaky all preseason. As for Leodis yesterday, his overall performance was mixed. But he went head-to-head with a top-5 WR and forced a big turnover and nearly had a second. I like his moxy out there as opposed to Gilmore who seems rather resigned. I'd love to be wrong and have Gilmore blossom into the corner we hope him to be, but right now, Leodis is better IMO.
  11. A couple more solid games and I might start calling EJ the "Iceman."
  12. 10) I was hoping you included him. That play ended the drive and was in the midst of the stretch where the Bills grew a lead. IMPACT PLAY!!! 12) True, but he was up against Marshall all day, and i think if he didn't slip he's have had a pick. Tough interference call, too. 13) Loved his game.
  13. PLACE: At a party in Webster. FOOD: The hosts' friends are all amateur BBQ nuts who bring over a pretty impressive setup and smoke dozens and dozens rack of ribs. There's a host of sides that I get after pretty good, but I try to reserve most of my stomach space for the ribs. DRINK: Blue on tap to start, but then I switch over to vino pretty quickly.
  14. I've met him on a few occasions and recently worked on a project headed up by his son. Seemed like a good guy. His impact on the city is indisputable. Big blow.
  15. Gaughan walked off in the bottom of the 9th. He got Andre into the HOF single-handedly, what a wonderful way to walk off into the sunset. Sure he'll relax a bit more with college sports. Great journalist.
  16. Your use of initials is noted. As is your yearning for Manuel to suck.
  17. Yup, Sammy is gonna get his first, "the trainers want to see you, close the door" this weekend.
  18. Cry me a river. You think Brady is the first guy to complain about a non-call. Every single WR does it on every incomplete pass nowadays. "Manly" positions like DE have players making the holding gesture on every other play. It's fine to hate him, just don't tell me he's the only one to complain. As for the hotels, up until 3-4 years ago, Buffalo didn't have that many nice hotels. Don't take the truth so personally. At the end of the day, it's why we all love Buffalo so much anyhow.
  19. Sadly, it's actually not a bad "deal." C'est la vie. Secondly, I wonder how many of the 33 arrests were meat-heads being morons.
  20. Meh. Guys like Strahan and Tuck said the toughest guy they've ever played against was Brady. Said they beat the living crap out of him during their Super Bowl games and he just came coming back for more. Sure he whines a little bit. But he's a tough SOB, too.
  21. Or, you know, just draft a good QB and #'s 1 & 2 don't really matter.
  22. Whoa Dr. Tooth, you know more about the Bills than most of the posters on here. Kinda fishy...
  23. Yeah, the spot a kick-of specialist is taking on game days is the spot of a guy who was gonna be wearing street clothes on Sundays anyhow. It doesn't bother me at all.
