  1. I think this is great. He wasn't gonna hurt the guy. Just a way of saying back the f off. Not like the Ravens probably weren't threatening bodily harm all game to him or anything.
  2. Pretty much agree with everything here. Book and movie don't match up, but rarely ever do. Thought Cooper and Miller were great as well. Politics and whatever aside, Clint is still making better movies than respected directors half his age.
  3. There's no bigger fan of Ted Thompson than me. And you are 100% correct, Smith had a good run in San Diego building on the foundation Butler laid before him. The one constant in San Diego has been QB. Butler got a HOFer in the 2nd and Smith got his pick of Eli or Rivers.
  4. Drew Brees was Butler. Rivers? C'mon. They were drafting 1st overall. And they still took Eli. And Flutie? Really wouldn't call that an eye for talent. But once again, pretty sure that was all Butler.
  5. I'm sorry, but that's such a crap argument to think Whaley's shortcomings have anything to do with not finding a franchise quarterback. It's easy to throw random names out there, but the minute Kolb went down the plans changed. Guilty of striking out with journeyman back-ups and seriously flawed newcomers to provide unforeseen cover? Maybe. But I won't condemn him for not doing what 2/3 of the league hasn't done in finding the "guy." And seriously, AJ Smith? As a self-proclaimed offensive-line nut like yourself, you'd be happy with him coming to the Bills? Rivers was almost out of the league a few years back because of Smith's inability to provide him with adequate protection. He got the crapped kicked out of him. Also, what QB did Smith ever identify?
  6. I think this is the logical assumption but if they can't Demarco signed because of money, how little will AP accept?
  7. I'd have no problem giving him a lot guaranteed money up front (in RB terms) and have him heavily pound the rock for two years while this QB situation sorts itself out. Doesn't have to be a long-term marriage.
  8. And your smug, French coach... I kid, I kid. I couldn't agree more with your sentiments.
  9. I'm hoping for a Liverpool vs. Arsenal/Chelsea/Tottenham/Crystal Palace/West Ham Saturday game. Not thinking QPR will be up still. Knocking off a Bills game and Liverpool game in the same weekend would be fantastic!!!
  10. Colin Cowherd ranted yesterday about how players using the media is generally a good indicator of future success/being savvy etc. I can't help but think this video and the past examples of Dougie being a prime example of this POV.
  11. As an adult, I presume you've checked into the bus schedule and realized those things run on a continuous loop. I've never has a wait problem there. Five minutes max. Plus it keeps congestion on campus to a minimum with summer classes and campus tours going on. Plus, SJF/Bills let you bring pretty much anything into the camp. Gatorade bottles mixed w/ vodka and Beam with Coke makes SJF the optimal place to view training camp.
  12. Agreed. But given Terry's deep pockets, there's some creative ways to front-load the crap out of contract to reduce the hit on the books. We've never been in these situations before, I'm curious to what lies ahead!!!!
  13. A slice of cheese pizza ain't the best thing to shove in your gut. Adding a little ricotta only makes it worse. Not that I care what the guy eats. My first question as the presser would have been "hot , medium or mild?"
  14. Man. O. Man. Today is a day to be proud Bills fans. Why are we nitpicking over a fair question at the presser? If anything, Rex's answer was awesome. Savor the day guys!!
  15. Amen to the first point. As for the locker room, even a hardened pessimist like yourself can agree that's the least likely thing to happen to a Rex Ryan football team.
  16. Ahhh man, I turn my radio off the second those come over the airwaves.
  17. I'm in the minority being a Goodell supporter, but I can't disagree with this. Horrible decision to let these guys influence a game like that. I feel bad for the guy despite blowing a call a blind man could have seen. They were horrible. Command of the English language eluded these guys.
  18. I'm not sure about Geno. It'll be Chan's show I would assume given Bowles background. Curious to see who he'd want. Like you say, Fitzy will be available. How weird would it be to see Fitz and Chan back at the Ralph?
  19. Wasn't Chan's offense here predicated upon a smart QB like Fitz making lightning quick reads? I would love Geno to play that offense. Also, Chan sucked at game planning for 3-4 defenses. I'm truly happy for him to be back in the league, I just don't fear going up against him twice a year.
  20. Yeah, and we'll add on two more years to your contract. Would that be something you're interested in?
