  1. Mularkey was not going to be retained by Atlanta even before the Jags coaching spot opened up...He was history after The Falcons scored like 2 points in their lone playoff appearance last season....
  2. Hopefully Jacksonville hires Caldwell, and Caldwell rememembers what a QUITTER Mularkey was with his hometown Bills and fires his worthless ass. The fact that people believe Mularkey quit in Buffalo because his kids were harrassed at school is ludicrous....If your kid is being harrassed, and you make the kind of money a head coach does- you simply move the kid to another school, a nice private one-Problem solved! Anyone who believes Mularkey's lie is clueless...and the fact that he threw his kid under the bus with this lie, is probably the same reason why the kid ended up being a loser , who was arrested for snorting blow in public just last year. Mularkey is a quitter, a loser, a chump...he will never, ever succeed as an NFL coach- he is cursed for quitting on Buffalo, and should be promptly fired by any GM who is trying to resurrect the Jags. PS- The owner of The Jags is going to ride out the lease in Jacksonville and then ultimately become team that moves to London-count on it!
  3. This may be the most narrow minded hire in the history of this team. If you dont think Brandon is 100% calling the shots you are sadly mistaken. Brandon is from Syracuse, grew up going to Syracuse games and selfishly, from a marketing perspective figures he can now pull from the central NY market. An 8-5 season in 2012, a 25-25 record is not really "turning things around at Syracuse." I guess we're shooting for mediocrity. Guarantee they waste a first round pick on a fifth round qb in Nassib too. Horrible pick. You suck Brandon.
  4. Lets give Wilson some credit here...I lreally do ove the guy, sometimes dont love the way the organization gets run, but I'd love to see the Bills win it all in his lifetime-Despite his shortcomings as an owner sometimes...He does deserve that championship...Good Karma to Ralph!
  5. Hacksaw on The Mighty 1090 in San Diego was discussing teams that were "Chernobyl" for any candidate to consider walking into as the new head coach...Basically teams that were a complete and utter disaster with no pieces in place to jumpstart the program...San Diego was still considered a salvagable situation with the roster they have...Guess which team was mentioned with Jacksonville? The Bills have some talent-more than 2009...But it is still pretty bad....Attracting a coach worth a damn will be almost as hard as the last search-which got us the scrub Gailey..I dont think Ralph wants to go through that again, and why he will probably stick with these losers. Only way Bills can add a real coach is by creating legitimacy (They have none): -Hire Polian as CEO
  6. Ralph may have the rare opportunity to right one of his many wrongs by bringing Polian back in as CEO like Parcells in Dallas/Miami...get the house in order with a new coach and personnel and hand the team over to a new GM..Maybe Whaley. I think one challenge is that Polian would want his son Chris involved, and the book on him is that he blows....The other obstacle is that teams like San Diego, Arizona, Detroit, Cleveland and KC may also be seeking his services...But his heart is in Buffalo-so we may have a leg up..
  7. This means nothing other than it is a poll taken after one of the worst seasons we have ever had, and a day after one of the most discouraging losses...NO Bills fan likes the team today! The Bills have a huge fanbase. I live in Southern Cal and there are transplants everywhere and just as a general observation-There are WAY more Bills fans than there are fans of teams like: San Diego Chargers. San Diego DOES NOT have more fans than Washington-let alone Buffalo...That alone says it is not indicative the actual fanbase... ...and these are just teams that no one give a damn about in general outside of their market... Houston Texans Seattle Seahawks Carolina Panthers Arizona Cardinals Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tennessee Titans ... I have seen the Bills play in San Fran, San Diego, Phoenix, and Oakland and we represent really really well...I think we are in actuality a top 10-EASILY...
  8. Nix probably called Wilson Monday and says: "Ralph we beat the Rams here yesterday and we are now 13-0. You have nothing to worry about, we are a shoe in to win it all...Oh and hey-Remember the raise you promised me-you may not remember rigtht now-but trust me you promised a few months ago , well that kicks in today and so does my non fire clause..same with Chan and Russ Brandon-OK? Great thanks!". ...These guys are all taking the old man to the cleaners and getting while the getting's good! If Ralph had any clue about how poorly these clowns are running his business they would have been fired weeks ago.
  9. Ravens fired Cam Cameron because of a two game skid. Just two straight losses, and one was an OT loss. This guy Cameron was very good in San Diego as OC, Shottenheimer as HC and Wade as DC. He was good enough to get a HC job with Miami (who never gave him long enough to develop much with a lousy roster...) Do you think this would ever happen in Buffalo? Gailey is 15-30 as a head coach, yet he is as safe as ever... How on earth is he still here? If there was no talent on the roster, it MIGHT make sense, be we have talent! It just shows some teams are serious about winning and some are not: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/ravens/2012/12/10/cam-cameron-fired-jim-caldwell/1758575/
  10. Give me a freaking break! F this guy! He is A QUITTER-A LOSER and a monumental TURD ...If he is going to blame quitting an NFL head coaching job on his kids be wimpy little biznatches who were being bullied, that makes him an even bigger doosh. Who blames stuff on their kids? He is lying. Hey Meathead-ever think that maybe you could move your kids to a different school? I hate Mularkey, and dont hide that fact. His loser kid went on to be arrested for using heroin or coke or something years later. I guess the bullying scarred him for life, or maybe the fact that his dad is a D Bag meathead QUITTER put him over the top! Nice Hire Jacksonville!
  11. Let's just look at recent trends... We may not have reached our goals yet, and that hurts, but what about teams expected to do well, looked like they were rebuilding , had some recent success- maybe they got a hot first round QB, a playoff berth in the past two seasons, only to take huge steps backwards (NY Jets, Detroit, Dallas, St Louis, KC, Arizona), and then you have the ones who have peaked and are on a major decline (San Diego, Philly, Pittsburgh I believe is heading in that direction too), and then there is the the woebegone: (Oakland, Jacksonville, Cleveland, KC again). We fall into the annually below average group with teams like Miami, Carolina and Washington, and Tampa-Not completely wretched-irrelevant, and pretty bad year in and out. I guess I would rather build for another year and be consistent for the next 5 years then have the Bills get a wildcard this year, lose that one game, and then go another 6 years without any success.... This endless feeling of being a bad team hurts but keep in mind-This is a cyclical business. When the Bills were kiling it in the early 90's...The Patriots, The Steelers, The Packers, The Saints, The Bears, and Atlanta were all horrible, and Miami, Buffalo, and KC ruled the AFC. Things always turn for the better or for the worse for every team...We are due for the better!
  12. As disappointing as the past three years have now materialized..The Bills did take a big swing and it just has not worked out. Hate on them all day long, but keep in mind-They did try (as best as this organization seems to know how to try) Fitz Signing: Fitz was the top rated QB in the league last year when they extended him. If he had stayed on that trajectory thru season's end we would have either lost him to another team-or paid a lot more to keep him. It sucks that we had to lock him in for so much $ and see him completely suck ever since-It reminds me of when we extended Jauron when we didnt need to... Chan Gailey: While no one was thrilled to see this guy resurrected from football oblivion, we had an embarrassing run of "no one interested in the job". Shanahan wouldnt take the job but used us to inflate his price with Washington. Cowher wouldnt have taken $50 million , lowly Brian Shottenheimer, Russ Grimm and Jim Harbaugh wouldnt even talk to us. Gailey came on with tough talk, sounded like a football man, had some success and maybe reminded us of a Southern Marv Levy-A guy no one wanted anymore, and had limited success, but maybe, just maybe he could catch fire and be the guy Marv once was...Someone everyone else overlooked who just needed the right opportunity. Dave Wandstadt: When I heard the name Wandstadt I was thinking we lucked into something good there...Then you hear about how badly he sucks from people who are actually familiar with his year to year work and overall resume. I think we all only remember the Dallas teams he was involved with, but the truth is that it was all Jimmy Johnson, and a great roster...The game has passed this guy by...Even though the D played better recently-It is a total mess. Buddy Nix: Buddy was part of the Polian personnel group and had great success in Buffalo, then under John Butler in San Diego helped draft an amazing team that never quite got there....He was a hell of a lot better than Marv Levy and Russ Brandon and Tom Modrak, and probably Donahoe too. He said the right things, and we believed he would "Show us the baby" by now...Hasnt happened , but he has done some good things. Not sure where the Bills go now. Will they fire Gailey and Nix?..Probably not-I think they will lay this on Fitz and seek to relegate him to back up or release him and get a new QB and keep Gailey. There will be a lot of teams firing coaches at seasons end, and the best coaches wont go to Buffalo over New York, San Diego ,etc....UNLESS somehow they can convince Polain to come back in a Bill Parcels style role as Bills CEO...Bring in a new coach- Convince Tony Dungy to come out of retirement , Get Mike Vick for a couple of years and draft a qb to come up behind Vick for one-to two seasons....Could work...Whatever we are doing now clearly isnt...
  13. Stupid Post-Why on earth would San Fran trade him to us for a second? They took him with a second round pick -Just last year. They are probably going to keep him and shuttle Alex Smith out of town. Now that they see he is capable he probably becomes the starter. San Fran clearly wasnt comfortable with Smith-That is why they picked Kapernick, and flirted withPeyton manning-Smith has a one year deal aI believe-he is history in SF.... Hey Maybe Indy will trade us Luck , we could give them our first round pick! Brilliant.
  14. The Bills and Dolphins are pretty much neck and neck..The only difference is that it took the Fins 10 games to reach this level of mediocrity, and it has taken us three years! This is the longest rebuild in the history of mankind. UGH! The Bills and Fins are pretty much neck and neck..The big difference being it took them ten games to reach this level of mediocrity, and it has taken us three years...This is the longest rebuilding project in the history of mankind! UGH!
  15. He is very good for a rookie, but I disagree that he played well last night at all....Even my wife who knows nothing about O-Lines noticed him getting rolled over a bunch of times, and Fitz got chased and beat up a bit last night from his side, I think it was Cameron Wake~ who is very good, but he looked bad last night.
  16. Congratulations on lowering the bar below where it already is. Welcome aboard ~That was your first post I see..You have no where to go but up!
  17. Great Idea! Lets bring in a guy who couldnt make it in Cleveland. If he doesn't pan out mybe we can trade KC for Brady Quinn, and if that doesnt work out lets get Derek Anderson. Anderson and Quinn werent surrounded by talent in Cleveland either and have gone on to great heights with other franchises, so you just know McCoy will kill it in Buffalo. Stupid post!
  18. I like what I saw against NE on Sunday from our offense, if they can keep it up, stay confident and have the D step up..we could get on a roll..We are capable of scoring, and it is possible to get hot at the right time-You never know...If we lose this one to arookie QB, a rookie coach at home-Turn out the lights. Im excited for Thursday...
  19. True that Pitt and NE always get the calls in their favor too....The refs gave NE a free touchdown on that PI call-It was uncatchable....
  20. I couldn't help but feel bad for these guys...They are soo much like us... * They have some talent, mediocre coach and QB * They have a great fan base * It has been forever since they were consistently good * They fought hard for a tough road win that they needed desperately * They make huge , clutch plays to tie it up at the very end only to get kicked in the nuts with an interception in OT , and the game is over. That same thing would have happened to us-just like that... Im not sure why New England and Pitt have suck luck, mojo, horseshoes up their a$$ for so damn long, but we can only hope it is cyclical , and ultimately swings back in favor of the KC's and Buffalo's of the league...In the early 90's KC, Buffalo ruled the FC and Pitt and NE were nothing... Loved the 1929 Buffalo Bisons references! The more things change , the more they stay the same in old BFLO!
  21. The Bledsoe/Donahe era uniforms are the worse in team history, especially the white away jersey, or the home blue on blue. The Rob Riddick era 1984 unis were a close second... One day the Bills will go back to the red helmet/cobalt jersey...Decent look too, but too early to go back. Charging logo is our best one, but I like the standing one for a once a year affair. Little known fact-The Bills were very, very close to changing the charging Buffalo logo when Bledoe arrived. I have a shirt with that logo that someone from The Bills PR department gave me, it was a "B" with a Buffalo head in it....and used Blue, Red, White and Silver. It was sort of like the Patriots logo in a way...It sucked-just like the rest of the uniform they went with in that era
  22. I love how everyone says we overpaid...Like it is "our money". Williams was brought in to do one thing~Attack and destroy Tom Brady! If we cant beat NE, we will never get anywhere, and Brady is the best in our division. He has failed miserably thus far, and I agree with another poster who said his presence is toxic. I'd bench his ass, but he seems so disinterested it wouldnt matter. Williams has ZERO heart-He is NO leader, and he isnt even mediocre.... Bills swung and missed on this one-Cant fault them for trying.
  23. Somewhat agree...I honestly thought they would get murdered-like 63 to 13 type beatdown..The offense played well for a lot of the game, but Freddy fumbled twice and Fitz thre w a pick and a fumble and that killed us, not to mention the penalties. It was inspired football, but the arent good enough to overcome mistakes like that against New England.... The defense-especially Mario Williams sucked. This guy was specifically brought in, and paid $100 million for one reason: PRESSURE and SACK TOM BRADY! He did absolutely NOTHING Yesterday..they should bench his ass. He wouldnt be missed. Mark Anderson is injured, but something tells me even if he was playing he would be useless too...The Bills swung -which I appreciate, but they missed BIG Time on these two d-bagz!
  24. There is under 2,000 seats left , if it doesnt sell out the Bills should absolutely buy the remaining seats for .34 cents on the dollar, if for no other reason than so local advertisers who bought airtime during local breaks commercials can be seen locally, as well as to show this community some appreciation for buying into this abortion of a product for the past 13 years. This will be the last home game with a chance of being televised for remainder of season as Bills have Jacksonville, St Louis, and NY to sellout-and NOBODY cares about those teams. Question-Why do we get stuck with Tennessee, St Louis, Jacksonville at home? Those are just franchises no one wants to see in any NFL city, but more importantly, why did The Bills have only 3 of their first 9 games at home, when it is still nice out and is perfect NFL Football weather? It is BS! We have Jacksonville in December though....Thanks for helping us sell out our stadium by giving us garbage games against hugely unappealing teams in December-F.U. NFL!
