  1. Kelsey is currently the #102 leading tackler in the NFL with a grand total of 12. Even Keith Ellison is way ahead of him in tackles. A few years ago the Bills were unwilling to re-sign a real stand up guy and league leading tackler in London Fletcher. WTF is going on here? There is ZERO rationale behind this because no one is lining up to sign this guy away from us. No need to rush to sign him in week 4, if at all. This HAS to be Wilson's doing, that, or part of the larger sinister plan to get people so disgusted that we all just walk away. My instincts tell me it is a little of both.
  2. I have a theory that Wilson and Co. do have a master a plan to make the franchise and the product so undesirable that people just tune out, and it then allows him and the league to say "Hey Buffalo couldnt support a team, no one could afford tickets because the area is so depressed blah blah blah..." To an extent , the plan is working- It is hard to care about this product or have a lot of faith in the operation- we are becoming apathetic.HOWEVER- It must absolutely kill the architects of this sinister plan when people are so loyal and supportive to something that has no longer resembles the great operation and team we once had. We just keeping coming back out of blind faith and loyalty. Sure-they like the money, but maybe, to make their plan work, they would prefer/need us to just check out. It also doesnt help that the national economy blows, games arent selling out, there are blackouts everywhere looming . Hell~ the three teams in California cant sell out their games and are blacked out. Florida cant sell out in Tampa and Jacksonville. Phoenix will be totally tuned out as The Cardinals continue to go to crap-same with Carolina. These are supposed to be the new NFL hotspots, the future of the league. The NFL was born in the northeast, in the rustbelt, and The NFL better cherish Buffalo and the fans of this team. It is one fan base that they can rely upon. We've proved it for 50 years. The Bills belong to Western New York & Western New York Deserves better than this!
  3. Exactly....There is no upside to re-signing him, now, and probably ever quite frankly. He's done nothing and he's not going to get better. Im telling you Wilson must still be meddling in every aspect of this team. Maybe he thinks Kelsey is a "nice boy" an dhe stayed with the Bils thru the lean years when guys like Schoebel moved on...I couldnt even tell Kelsey and Ryan Denney apart . Just two slow white guys who were drafted too high. Anyways, Wilson has ruined this organization. We once had the best personnel in the game. You would hope someone could get through to him, but it just seems like decisions like this come from someone out of touch as it makes zero sense, and points directly to a 92 year old man.
  4. He has 12 solo tackles this year, cant cover, is 30 years old and has zero sacks. Are the Bills afraid teams will be lining up to sign this guy? Dont re-sign him. Clean house and use the money on a real 3-4 linebacker next year, not a 31 year old converted DE on the wrong side of his career....This is insanity... This reminds of when The Bills felt compelled to extend Jauron after 6 games in 2008. Remember how that turned out? No need to rush to sign this guy, I say we let him walk anyways. He'll be lucky to land another job.
  5. Some good options there I agree. I think you do need a LT first otherwise what is the point of a franchise qb who you cant protect? Also , dont use the term "Bills Nation". That term belongs to The Oakland Raiders fans, and sometimes The Boston Red Sox.
  6. Highly unlikely he'll be starting anytime soon. They brought him in as a back up. They had zero depth in that area. Garrard is still a better qb and has better numbers through his first 2 starts compared to Edwards. They may have brought him in because it could be an advantage when we play them. They see it as a winnable game. They'll get some insight from Trent on Buffalo and then dump him after the game. I liked Trent, but he just isnt suited to play QB in the NFL.
  7. The Flutie curse should have been lifted. He went on to beat us as a Charger on a last minute scramble run into the endzone back in 2001. Maybe that wasnt enough though. Wade didnt make the call to bench him. Wilson did. Wade's curse was exercised when his Cowboys beat us on Monday Night Football. That to me was the worst, most painful kick in the nuts since the Titans playoff game. Flutie's name should be on The Wall Of Fame. He saved the Bills in my opinion from 1998 until today. We may need him back in 2012 to work his magic again on a new lease, stadium, re-model whatever. The guy had magic. Period. He was a great story, and made the Bills very likeable to people across the country after the Kelly years. He kept us interesting and relevant. Just our luck that OJ Simpson, our most high profile, famous and electrifying player of all time turns out to be the devil. McKinley curse? Buffalo didnt have anything to do with the scumbag who shot the McKinley. He was a Czech I believe, an anarchist, and a nut. I think he lived in Canada too-Not from WNY...anyways.... Nope, It is just a series of very bad decisions coming from the top of teh organization. Its not a curse.
  8. Good to hear Fina is a good guy now, because I met him about 14 years ago in Scottsdale AZ at a place called Martini Ranch, and he was a TOTAL DOOSH. He was drunk as hell, could barely stand and I told him I was originally from Orchard Park, he then became coherent enought to proceeded to tell me what a crap town Buffalo was an how ugly the women were etc- He was still with th eteam at the time. Since that night I always hated the guy, plus he was a TOTAL BUST in my opinion. If you want to know why Kelly retired early, take a look at Fina. Kelly was getting pummeled his last couple of years, and Fina was a turnstile. Tell him I say FU. Thx
  9. None in California either...California is a mess, dont get me wrong, but NY is THE worst. It's expensive as hell to live here, but after you factor in NYS taxes, it sort of evens out on an annual basis. Too bad, becaue NY should be one of teh best states in the U.S. , sadly it isnt.
  10. I have to disagree. He did look good, very good in those first 6 weeks of 2008, Arizona the exception because he got knocked out early (and Arizona was good that year-Should have won The Superbowl) At any rate, he had some every good early games where he had a couple of clutch late game comeback wins that involved threading the needle in the endzone in games vs. Oakland and St Louis. He went on to defeat a tough San Diego team, as well as a great performance at Kansas City, and the biggest ~ a tough come from behind win against a NFC West leading team in Denver, at Denver where we had not won a game in a very very long time. Those were the types of wins the instill confidence in a player and us as fans, and I though we had our next up and coming guy. What Jauron and company did to this kid is what has turned him into moosh. I blame the coaching staff and management for ruining this guy. Once a QB's confidence is destroyed, thats it for them. Is he done? Im not 100% convinced yet, but after this past weekends game, Im pretty damn sure he is...Give him 4 games this season, and see what he can do.....
  11. I met Suzi at an ESPN Party during the Superbowl here in San Diego in 1998 (Green Bay Vs. Denver). I was at a party in downtown, you could climb out onto the roof of the apartment. I was up there and noticed a fancy party that I thought I could make my way into by crossing from one roof to the next and lowering myself down...I made it and no one noticed me sneak in. It turns out it Was ESPN's Pre-SuperBowl party. I recognized Suzi, so I chatted her up a bit. She was very friendly and open to talking sports. We chatted for a while, I mentioned I was a Bills fan, and she told me that she thought the recent Flutie pick up was going to be a great move ( I hadnt even heard about the pick up at that point) After some time, Stuart Scott rolled up and it sort of seemed like he was "with her"...either that or he thought I was a weirdo and was just watching her back! Who knows...either way , she was very cool , and really cute too. Suzi I mean, not Stuart.
  12. wow...3 for 14 on 3rd downs.......thats bad.
  13. Im blaming him! Yes he deserves a chance..one game is nothing....BUT it is the coaches job to put players in a position to win, and he didnt do that today. He was calling the plays. You dont set up the run by passing the 1st three plays of the game. This is a running team, and all he did was pass. Our #1 pick got what, 6 carries? WTF is that? Running picks up momentum as you run plays, the runner gets hot and the offense wears down the D. That in turn sets up the pass. This game plan was horrid. The D kept us in there, but the offense didnt do anything for the umpteenth year in a row. LOTS of work to do, but I saw no reason be very optimistic
  14. This is not an NFL caliber team...from the top down. They barely know how to play football in the modern NFL. There is zero improvement from the past 4 years...Its sad, but its true. If the NFL had a performance quota for on field performance by each team, we wouldnt make the cut, we'd be sent down to the minors until we could get it right.
  15. You're all high. There was nothing positive today...Not one thing. It was as if someone put in a video of The Miami and San Fran game from 2008 just to name two garbage performances reminiscient of today. Nothing good happened today. We sucked in every componenet, especially coaching. Yes Miami is overrated, they are average, but what the Bills do is get teams to play down to them, bringing the other teams into a slow funk, while keeping it close and then the Bills attempt to steal one in the end. It rarely to never works, in fact its not NFL quality football/entertainment either, but it keeps you watching and hopeful until game's end where you are ultimately let down once again by this bunch of losers. If I didnt know better I would have sworn Jauron was still in there calling the plays. That was deplorable.
  16. Fair enough, but they did everything backwards and until they realize that, they will win no games.. Im no coach but I know when its 3rd and 13, you need to throw the ball 13 yards, not 2 yards up field...also we are a running team, but we decided to be cute and "outsmart " the opponent by throwing it all day. You need to run consistently to get in a groove first, second, you run the ball to set up the pass. Is that so hard to grasp? Is Gailey really as stupid as Jauron? WTF were they thinking? They should have run the damn ball all day long....
  17. Dude...This team is not even an NFL caliber organization at this point. There is zero improvement or innovation or any upgrade from last season. Things picked up right where they left off in 2009, 2008, 2007 and so on. This team SUCKS. The NFL should revoke their charter and tell them they will be re instated once they put a competent product on the field that is on par with the other 31 teams. If I was in media Id laugh at this crappy team too. Might be the only way to stomach being forced to have to cover them. Part of me thinks there is a conspiracy to kill the team, interest in the team, attendance and so on because it is actually hard to be this aweful without really working at it.........
  18. San Diego is way worse than Buffalo...One road in and that backs up badly and then just shuts down(Friars Rd). They do have a trolley that gets people in there pretty effectively but getting out on the trolley is a nightmare...Orchard Park is easy, at leat 2-3 ways in..back roads like California are a piece of cake! Where is Phoenix on here? You need to park a mile away and then take a bus to the stadium lot-That place sucked.
  19. I listen to a lot of sports talk...a lot...I work in the business. Those guys, all bias aside about a Bills comments are two of the biggest dooshes in the industry. Their ratings SUCK outside of Philly too. Cant believe they are nationally syndicated, because they do not merit it. Not sure where they get off thinking they are hot s#@t, or that their opinion matters...Fat and stupid is no way to go thru life son.....Shopp and Bulldog may actually be better than those 2 fagz.
  20. Right...the stadium has great sightlines, and is a very good design...one of the best. But to stay somewhat contemporary they do need to re-work it. As opposed to a $1 Billion new stadium, $150 Million in big time upgrades would buy us another 25 years....The exterior of it should be completely re-done along with the concourses and the bathrooms. There should be an entire inside area that includes restaurants and bars, and doors that shut and keep the cold outside. You dont need a dome, but wide concourses with inside activities and tvs everywhere so you can watch the game are necessary. Maybe build the team apparal store inside as well, and a Bills Museum/Hall Of Fame...Could be cool-Green Bay did it and someone drew up a mocked up version 6 months ago....
  21. a guy i work with who's a huge raiders fan laughed at me when we signed him last winter. he said he totally sucks. looks like he was correct. raiders are going to be decent this season i believe.....
  22. current throwback uniform, with early 80's era white helmet with charging buffalo might just be the perfect combo of our best eras, mid 60's, 1980-81 and early 90's. the only time we were real winners. these throwbacks are really sharp...c'mon Nix and Russ-The current ones scream Donahoe era-They do suck!
  23. Who The F is Bill Williamson...Never heard even a ya!..And who cares. Punch em in the g-damn mouth rockem sockem blue collar hard hitting Buffalo Ball! Win or lose...somebody gonna git HURT!
  24. This guy is a hack. Seriously, who the F is he? The Browns won 4 games to end the season last year? Is the QB who lead them to these wins even still with the team? The Browns have zero talent with the exception of Cribbs. A washed up, broken QB, and a rookie on the verge of being cut, No running game, receivers, defense and so on..Kansas City, Tampa, Denver, St Louis are all going to suck too. Whatever, The Bills may blow, but I think they play tough and beat people up-Punch em in the damn mouth football! Our secondary, Special teams and running attack will score points and win games for us. These doosh writers never look beyond our new coach, 3-4, and lack of line and QB...There are other factors that will help the team score, and win. The biggest might be NEW ATTITUDE!
  25. Let's start by coming up with a better name than "Bills Nation". I hate when that is used. It's not ours. It belongs to The Oakland Raiders "Raider Nation". In baseball it seems that The Boston Red Sox seem to use it too..Anyways, The vast amount of Bills fans that span the globe need a better name than "Bills Nation"....What could that term be.....How about "Buffalo Tribe" ?
