  1. I'd guess that the job is harder than you are giving credit for. And, not an anchor, but I think Rachel Nichols is kind of hot.
  2. I only watched him play one game last year, and that was against the Eagles, but Jason Peters just ate him up. He's 29, probably on the downside of his career, and isn't going to be the difference between us getting in or not getting into the playoffs. We have to have a longer term view and keep the draft picks to build a real contending team.
  3. What a coincidence, I just closed on my first house today too. After the paper work was done, the lawyer shook my hand and said, "Congratulations, you now have a tremendous amount of debt. Its the American way." We should try to coordinate our foreclosures on the same day too.
  4. Aha's "Take on me" is a famously blah song with a very innovative video that made the song famous.
  5. So, by your reasoning, if a QB is drafted with a first round pick, he will be good? You seem to have blocked Losman pick out of your mind quite well. I wish I could too.
  6. Those are almost pro bowl numbers. I'm high on Fitz, but I don't see that kind of year for him. For a comparison, a 2011 pro bowler: Matt Ryan 3705yds, 62.5% completion, 28tds, 9ints
  7. With the version of Fitz we have now, my answer is no, we cannot win a super bowl with him at QB. He is too inaccurate and he turns the ball over too many times. But I am a fan of his. He is still young, and he is tough, fearless, and doesn't get rattled by mistakes. I also think that right now he is better than anyone in the draft. Most importantly, I am very optimistic that there is great room for improvement, especially with Chan as HC. I think in two or three years he could improve to pro-bowl level, or maybe near pro-bowl level, which is absolutely good enough to lead a team to a super bowl.
  8. I watched this video and actually thought that, for ESPN, it was an unusually intelligent, thoughtful conversation. They said the Bills have a lot of needs, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. I also thought they were very complimentary of Fitz. Dilfer said he was a good, but not great QB; he just thought Newton was a good fit. Kiper liked him even more, using words like "fearless." And the Bills haven't been an elite team for a while now. Why is it wrong for them to say this?
