  1. Yeah, like I said upthread, every area of the stadium has its pros and cons, and it's up to the individual to decide what's right for them. You can't objectively say any one area is complete sh*t. (Even the cheapest seats. For some, that's the only way they're able to get in to a live NFL game.) I get that people like the upper deck for an overall view of the entire game. My wife and I have sat up there and in literally every other price point the stadium offers over the last 15 years or so (except the big club in the tunnel end behind glass), and for us, our corner is where it's at.
  2. Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man. We sit in 127, corner end zone, tunnel end, Bills side, 12th row. Half the cool stuff happens on the other end of the field, yes. But half the cool stuff happens right in front of us. That kick return for a TD Spiller had against the Dolphins. Sammys first career touchdown. Johnny Eightball getting smeared by Kyle Williams. Those are just off the top of my head for the last few years. And you wanna talk about loud? Holy hell, do we get loud, especially when the visitors O is working in our end. As long as we are spouting opinions, I think the upper deck blows. You're too far away, and get the absolute worst of the elements. Whether it's sun, heat, rain, cold, wind or snow, it's all magnified up there. If you want the perfect angle to see the field, just watch the game on tv.
  3. Agreed. Every section has its pros and cons. It all comes down to trying different things and figuring out what works best for you.
  4. I'd say it's about a 1,000% chance this was simply a marketing stunt.
  5. Heh. I figured I'd get at least one of the new guys with that old gag. I am humbled by your epithet.
  6. Anything worth doing is worth doing right.
  7. Low carbs, clean living and strong mods who enforce a "no duplicate threads" rule? That, too.
  8. Follow-through. Attention to detail. It's what always separated TSW from... those other places.
  9. WHAT'S HIS ASHWORTH??? I don't know, $5-$6M per?
  10. Cursory internet search shows that BWI doesn't even have a gate E10. http://www.bwiairport.com/files/pdfs/bwi_maps/tmg_0309.pdf

  15. I've got a good recipe for weak sauce. One bowl of water, one tray of ice cubes. Stir vigorously.
  16. Given that U2 has a long history of bringing fans onstage at shows, I have to think there are infinite other potential sides to that story.
  17. Confirmed with my season ticket rep that there will be some sort of early on-sale/offer for STH. Should be an email in the next few days.
  18. I've donated mine before to the Boys & Girls Club of Buffalo, especially preseason games. I just give them a call and talk to someone on staff who will give me their email address to forward the tickets. Make sure you get an acknowledgement/receipt. Then you can count the full face value as a chartible gift on your taxes.
