    Even more perplexing is God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch. A. It's not the national anthem and B. Steinbrenner only started doing it to drag out the middle of the inning and ice the opposing pitcher. Patriotism was a convenient excuse.

A bit of a hush fell over the Ralph after that, but the Bills quickly adjusted the D for a QB on biker crank instead of whatever stone-footed contest winner the Browns as their starter that year.
