  1. Lol, with a comment like that, I'm guessing you joined TSW in March of this year. Anywho, my point is it's funny how so many are rushing to fill in the many gaps of this unconfirmed story with a narrative of their choosing, and how many flashpoints it touches on. Our new FO, the Pats, world news...
  2. Don't be obtuse, it's right there in your headline: "Rare." And I'll thank you for not referring to me as a "Charlotte Person." I lived in RTP for a number of years, not Charlotte. Charlotte is a bank branch that kept growing until they legally had to call it a "city." Literally every other part of NC is more interesting.
  3. Blind quote from some chowderhead beat reporter = 11 page (and counting) TSW Meltdown. Classic.
  4. I knew it! You get paid per post, don't you? So is it like a commission-based thing?
  5. I wonder what happens to that 26.74 if you take Lorax out of the mix and replace him with a 26 year old.
  6. The new PR regime could not be more clear if they were literally shouting from rooftops. We get it, the team went in the complete opposite direction from the Rex-n-Rob Ryan & Friends Good Time Clown Shoes Happy Horsesh*t. For the love of God, please just show some results on the field, even if it takes a season or two.
  7. Chiming in to agree that CLT is so far inland, I really don't see this happening.
  8. You people are way too mudgemental.
  9. I only have an online GED in law, but I'm pretty sure the only words that make something a legal requirement are "must" or "must not."
  10. I wonder what the Venn diagram of those who complain about "PC snowflake culture" and those who get their knickers in a twist over perceived insults to god and country looks like. I'm guessing there's a lot of overlap.
  11. LOL at the idea that one can't love their country and protest things about it at the same time.
  12. Even more perplexing is God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch. A. It's not the national anthem and B. Steinbrenner only started doing it to drag out the middle of the inning and ice the opposing pitcher. Patriotism was a convenient excuse.
  13. Yes, Johnny Eightball's first series. Basically busted play after busted play and they marched 80 yds for a TD. A bit of a hush fell over the Ralph after that, but the Bills quickly adjusted the D for a QB on biker crank instead of whatever stone-footed contest winner the Browns as their starter that year.
  14. It's great they're doing it during the Raiders game. Two classic AFL franchises. Ralph and Al, man, those guys were two very different sides of the same coin.
  15. I was in 7th grade. Oddly, I don't so much remember the moment as I do the aftermath in the immediate hours and days.
