You're not wrong. I went to work for WFNX in Boston in the early 2000s. Turns out, that wasn't a great time to be getting into commercial terrestrial radio. But Howard and Jeremy aren't even the most amateurish show on WGR, by far. Believe me, I'm kind of a snob about production values. But nowhere else can we hear as much Bills radio content, so I suck it up and deal because I like hearing about my team.

As someone who has worked on-air for a major market radio station, I can tell you you're wrong.

When the Pegulas bid was accepted. I was on the west coast for working listening to WGR way too early in the morning, weeping openly.

I have had a few occasions to run into Chris Brown through a mutual interest of ours. I got to ask him a few years ago (post-Marrone) about the coffee with the coach segments with Marrone, and if Marrone was as angry about being there as he looked. Brown told me they described those segments behind the scenes as "Coffee with the Crotch."
